I love it! This is my favorite song to sing when I look back and think about all that God has been through with me, abuse, disease, grief, rejection, and betrayal. In all this, He never left me. He was right there holding me. If it wasn't for Him, I would be a huge mess, but He said that even in all of it that He wasn't going to ever let me go. I can't ever give or thank Him enough. He's the friend that is like no other. He gives peace that surpasses all understanding. He's the reason that I'm even alive today.
Praise the LORD He protected you! Jesus Never Fails! I too am only alive today because the LORD personally intervened to save my life from two hit men. He allowed me to be in the right place at the right time to hear these two men so I knew that i had to flee this Baptist camp at once. I worked there for 15 months as a volunteer but the camp was really trafficking drugs and I reported it to the camp president. But he was 'in on it' and betrayed me unto death......but the LORD intervened. God is Good!

At the age of 35 my mom died of cancer that had spread all throughout her body. Right after my dad remarried and told my sisters and our families that he didn't want anything to do with us anymore. God became a better Father to me than I could ever have hoped for. He redefined who I was in Him. All because of this our family has a burden for children trapped in human trafficking. We are doing our best to get out of debt before we pursue our mission. It's a struggle with 5 children, but we're going to make it.

I moved to Missouri to be near my Lyme doctor......and that is how I ended up volunteering at a large Baptist camp in Missouri. i was family there with all of them.....until I saw what was really going on. And then they were really going to have me 'gone' quick. I have evidence that this very same camp is all involved with sex trafficking. And the state and local police out there are also ;in on it'. That is great that the LORD has placed a burden on your heart for these trafficked children. I know that the drug underworld is making more from the sex trafficking than they are from the drugs. During this time I met my husband. At 18, I had to have several feet of my large and small intentesant removed. I was told that I may never have children. My future husband said that was ok, that we could adopt. After, we married I got really sick again and was prayed for and was healed. Today we have 5 beautiful biological blessings, but still have a heart for hurting children and adoption.

I just love these sessions! It reminds me so much when I was growing up and going to college how I had a "gang" that I'd hang out with at the Institute of Religion that would gather round the piano and sing songs just to de-stress the day. it didn't matter if we sang off key or what songs we were singing --alot of the times it was "My turn on Earth" or "Saturday's warrior" or hymns or what ever even pop stuff sometimes (this was back in late 70's early 80's) it was so much fun! I was never blessed with musical talent although many times I tried to learn the piano or organ I never "got it" but that never stopped me from loving music!
