@@sneakyninja0866 that’s true but the contract they gave him insinuates they want him to be the 2nd or 3rd, more so 2nd option, was IQ coming off the bench in New York? I wasn’t really tapped into the knicks like that or was he starting in assuming he played a 2019 Fred vanvleet type role
Maluach is and always was the target. Future centre for the raps for the next generation. I think he’s going to go between picks 8-12. We don’t even have iq or gradey right now. Kelly and Bruce to. If the raps wanted to rank they needed to trade yak asap Masai loves these guys and I doubt he would flat out tank. But whatever happens he will live with the results. Looks like we are drafting 10-14 (unless lottery luck is on our side) looks like we will make the play in. The schedule gets way easier
I was really surprised that was a career high for him. Before that his career high was the same as Gradey's. I guess that just shows how consistent he is. That's what you want in a leader. He's just not a streaky player. The only off night Scottie has is when he goes off!
FO need to trade BB and KO to contender for bad contracts and picks. Then they could take any picks in 2025 but they need backup C and D-3 big wing unless you can get Battle way better on Def but that is likely too late for that. Long term a bigger PG would diversify the team as DM and JS similar players.
@ The FO needs to act as business. If he wanted to stack all Canadians he would have made a move like trading into draft a few years back to get Andrew Nembhard or drafted him instead of Christian K. Looking back maybe he should have but, for KO he helped big depth, shooting, passing the same reason he would be valuable to a contender. KO won’t be on court when BBQ are 28-30 when they should have a shot. This also gives KO a chance at a ring too.
great game! But the next 3 games are tough, so 7-18 likely and 10-21 to finish 2024 seems reasonable. As much as I'm loving seeing these young guys play decent ball, I'm not excited about a finish anywhere between 8-11 in the East which is feeling increasingly uncomfortable and likely. But hey, a fully healthy team could do a bit better, a few more injuries or trades could push them back towards "tanking".
Yeah honestly we should look to trade Jakob since he’s a key piece and would probably make us a lot worse if he’s gone. his value is kinda high rn, not sure what his market is like though. We will also hopefully off load Boucher &/or brown before the deadline. This team as constructed is not going to be one of the worst in the east if we continue like this… need to get a good pick this year though, that could totally change our franchise.. we seem to have bench mob 2.0 loading with the rookies and that’s nice to see also
@@TdotNinja why exactly? Why not see how good the team can be with him? He already has great chemistry with rj. I’d even try putting him at the sg spot if Scottie still wants to be pg.
RJ and Scottie are definitely the 1 2 punch for the raptors moving forward for the next 4-5 years
Our duo is nasty 🔥🔥
64 15 & 14 between or 2 forwards...awesomeness!
Puts on the goggles turns into clark kent
I don’t know how Quickley is gonna fair when he gets back, this team works best with Scottie and RJ being 1 and 2 options
Quickly was never a first option or 2nd option in the nba. He was the 4th option in ny after Brunson came to ny and rj was the 3rd..
Quickly can play the 2 as he's a knock down shooter

Grady will be a impact also along with Olynick.

enjoyed the critique just wish all the footage was from the game you were talking about tbh

That's not how Masai works he not going to bring a Canadian home just to trade him.

Trade Quickly ??
Yes
oddly was wondering about that myself... talk about so many assets and not enough spots to put them on the floor...
Totally agree Quickly is another Freddy he takes to many uncalled for 3s the team is better without Quickly
im happy with davion and jamal shead already...the defense and how davion gets inside the lane is great
