Let's dance with Japanese Figure Skater Daisuke Takahashi who won Bronze at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver (CAN) with this energetic performance of his Short Program to "Eye" by Cobe. It is the first Olympic medal to be won by Japan in men's figure skating. He then won the gold medal at the 2010 World Championships, becoming the first Asian to win a world championship in men's singles.

The fact he wasn't 1st after the SP is a travesty. His PCs should've been miles ahead of Lysacek and Plushenko
As Patrick Chan says, Daisuke never failed to inspire him. He was in a league of his own with his artistry
this will be a legend performance despite it "just" being a short program performance. In addition to Takahashi taking the bronze medal, which in and of itself is tremendous, the choreography and music selection is truly epic.
best Japanese skater ever, from the composition and choreography and sense of dance point of view!

Daisuke is one of the most gorgeous skaters in history. I love Eye SP at the most in his programs. He was already like an ice dancer at that time and now came back to competitions as an ice dancer. Dai-chan, thank you for your great challenge! I'm happy I can see you with Kana together on ice 💕
This was when I fell in love with Daisuke. He is truly mesmerising, and his step sequence is one of the best.
His stsq is so powerful, i think even audiences on the last row3 can feel his energy

髙橋大輔選手のこのプログラムは何度も見たくなります。時代を超えてもいいものはいいと感じさせてくれます。回転数も素晴らしいですが、プログラムの構成やムードが漂うスケートがなんともいいです。海外のお客さんも歓声を上げるほど、なにか心に伝わるものを感じます。日本が誇るべきスケーターです。
今のフィギュアスケートって4回転のジャンプ大会みたいになってるけど、私は高橋大輔君やジェイソン・ブラウン君みたいなスケートが好きなんだよね。
今、見ても惚れ惚れとする演技ですね～😊😊
今も度々観にきてます。
順位とか点数とかメダルとかでは彼を正しく評価できない。
