I actually use the standard buckshot with the bow. The primary fire itself is already pretty good at medium to long range and the bow does medium to close. And buckshot is a panic button
Been going through your channel and you've got some great content. So often people say 'guide' but more often than not it's a quick intro and just a long stream with little info. You expalin things so well, go into depth, and even voice over your clips. Great stuff, looking forward to more. Thoroughly earned yourself a sub 👍
This is the best weapon video I've seen! Good job man I was actually surprised when I saw that muzzle velocity with fmj that's like uppercut velocity. I found out that it's the third fastest fmj bullet in the game krag is second and centennial is the fastest.
Just picked up the gorgeous new skin for the Lemat Carbine and this video was a great refresher on this underrated primary. Informative and entertaining; you got yourself 1 more sub 👌
Great format, great commentary, and great gameplay. *Subscribed!* I’m a LeMat Fanboy and the LeMat Carbine was a great addition to the game, and the velocity changes were very welcome!
Which makes it accessible for more people. Also if you make up for recoil with skill then that same skill will allow u to perform better with easier recoil 😉
@@HuntCraft24 fair, but I do think there's a point where you can consistently hit your shots faster with a gun that shoots faster if you have the recoil on lock.
Solid video! I like the graphics and animations you use. My only recommendation is more of a nitpick, in that you were just a BIT theatrical going over the LeMat II Carbine stats. It was fun watching you run all of the stat comparisons, but it felt like you were trying a bit too hard ti defend your position. My suggestion is while it's absolutely worth going over the stats and demonstrating what they actually mean (the Officer Carbine comparison was both fun and informative to watch!), you should probably put more trust in your gameplay and shooting range demos. Again, just a nitpick. I also liked your breakdown of your thought processes during the matches! Might be fun to toss in some Sherlock-Style graphics in future videos...
people think the officer carbine is busted for its firerate despite only beeing compact, but think the lemat is shit... even though you almost (+-1sec) go as fast through the entire mag as the officer. With the difference that the officer doesnt come with a shotgun barrel, thats actually usable if you use slugs. Im praising the lemat carbine for a long time, cause its not bad at all even before the buffs. Now its even better, cause with fmj you still get winfield+ velocity. And 400+ m/s with the abillity to pen almost everything at medium distance is decent. The only complain for me here is that you have to use fmj and slugs to be viable and not feeling bad about using it instead of your normal long ammo rifle.
ya that's why the office is the only one i decided to compare separately, i do see personal preference being a factor in comparing them, i personally think the Lemat is just better than the officer, period. I still enjoy the office, it just happens to be a fact that the Lemat will cover a wider range of situational needs than the office.
@@HuntCraft24 I don't know why some of the best and/or most versatile weapons in the game are so vastly underrated. My favorite weapon in this game is the Berthier, people apparently hate that weapon too xD. Although I find it better than the Mosin in almost every way minus the clip size. This is also a weapon that someone could make a video about. A plain Mosin without anything costs $490. A Berthier with half Spizer/half regular ammo along with an AmmoBox costs $496. So practically the same , but with the added advantage that you now have the ability to switch to Spitzer to take long-range shots or go for easy 2 taps without having to take MV and leading shots into account. You can also go for Wallbangs and/or uncertain/risky shots much more often, cause of the tremendous ammount of spare ammo you have. With half spitzer/half regular Ammo you have 18 Bullets (3/6 + 9) by default. And with the AmmoBox that restores +5/+5 you effectively have 3/6 + 9 + (+5/+5) = 28 Bullets total. Compare that to Mosins 15. For the same $$$ you can shoot almost twice as much. In my opinion the Berthier is the better Mosin, or at least it has a way higher Price per Performance Ratio. And if you ask me Berthier also has the better Ironside.
Very nice. The thing is, you kinda need to have good aim to get the most out of this gun, so I'll just stick with my other jack of trades-ish gun for now which is the Winnie talon fmj with levering
Thank you very much, appreciate your comment 😍 i tend to dislike scopes in the game so i rarely play them. I have no experience worth sharing with that gun, that's why i didn't include it in my analysis.
Amazing video with valuable information but also very enjoyable. This weapon is one of my favorites and it was my main for a long time. I didn't know why but I was feeling very competent with it. Now I know. I wonder... what do you think of the marksman variant? Does it lose much of its versatility in your opinion? Thank you for the great content. I immediately subscribed after watching this video 💙
Thank you for the kind words 😊 I don't think i'm qualified to comment on the marksman unfortunately, i am strictly anti scopes in hunt so i don't have any experience with that one i'm afraid 😔
Drilling or lemat and run a melee for AI. All you need! Enjoy the structure of your video. It’s funny that the precision nagant beats on fire rate and recoil. Obviously it doesn’t have the range or velocity, but I’ve argued that in a compound, the PN is a beast! Paired with Romero and it’s the single best cheap loadout. Sadly money isn’t an issue anymore so there’s no real place for the loadout. Still my go to when I want cheap fun. My one regret: never got the lemat carbine skin 😢
@@HuntCraft24 Thanks for the timely reply. I've never used this gun but I was interested after watching your video. Most of the time I use the mosin but after getting my hands on the marathon i was interested in trying another good compact ammo.
Fantastic video! Easy subscribe from me. Loving this kind of content and deep analysis of various guns. I actually had no idea that the LeMat Carbine has the lowest recoil of all large slot guns, and I absolutely swear by this gun, too! Will have to give the slugs a try, but I typically get such bad luck with slug ammo. It's an aim issue, LOL.
I saw this is originally from an event (The skin), is it available to purchase? I love to have the weapons I use look good and this is by far one of the best skins in the game, imo
Ya, i think that's the first skin ever that came along with the LeMat Carbine's introduction, i'm not sure if you can get it now or not, i own it and with the new UI i have no clue how to find out 😆 it's called Obituary if that helps.
The FMJ is definitely worth it here, but I am not sure about the slugs. Because I use the LeMat shotgun mostly as a backup defensive option, I very rarely actually need the extra range and with buckshot, you don't have to worry about arm shots, low ammo with bad resupply and inaccurate hip fire. And it's pretty expensive for what it adds.
@@HuntCraft24 appreciated. I'm trying to run a very specific, somewhat perk-heavy loadout for my secondary, and I don't want to lean too heavy on special ammo for my rifle I was running base Vetterli, which is great, but was looking at weapons to avoid perks with. Cyclone, Drilling, LeMat C, and Ironside were on my radar. Now it's between LeMat C and Ironside. Do you still prefer the LeMat over Ironside, for standalone performance?
Can we still get that skin? I recently got back into Hunt and went to the shooting range 2 days ago. This gun and the pistol stuck out to me and i just unlocked it yesterday
Hmm I don’t remember off the top of my head. I remember it came out with the event where they introduced the gun. Not sure if they made it available otherwise. 🤔
Bow and crossbow isn’t a bad or “bot” load out. You realize you don’t have to fight at long range right? You can run double shotgun and be fine if you’d like. You just fight at close range.
Ya. You can do what you want. But when you queue with a random and find them choosing to limit themselves like this, it’s pretty botty in my book 😁 You can play anything if you’re coordinating with friends and have voice comms. Otherwise I’m not so optimistic with my assumptions 😁
Excelent breakdown. Another great video!
Thanks Man, i'm flattered 😍 i love your stuff too 😊

Great weapon especially when you are trying to not spend as much. Use it a lot tbh. I quite often take flame rounds, to push people.

Considering headshots will kill at any range with the new update do you feel like FMJ will still be that important? Now it’s mostly for body shots.

How does it directly compare against the Cyclone or Ironside for recoil?
The ironside is a single shot gun, so its recoil doesn't affect the next shot much, and the cyclone is miles behind i think, the Lemat is far better.😀
