Great video thanks for the memories work for John king chains for ten years also lived on garnet grove that was Beeston was a great place miss all friends and all who worked for John kings great times still proud to be a Yorkshire man
Pretty cool video, I have a brother who lived in Middleton a few years ago and watching this video and the view of the city centre skyline from Belle Isle Circus you can see how much Leeds has changed, no skyscrapers back then!
An era of Capri/cortina/escort/fiesta/Austin etc. Don’t remember seeing many Japanese or Korean cars back then. Leeds were peaceful back then and getting around was far more easier comparing to bus lanes and and all that of today’s road management system. LS11 has become severely populated now a days just like rest of the country I guess.
I think their was a sewing company called Fotherby's, on the corner then going up Garnet Road there was Clayton's, John King's and Robinson & Birdsell's scrap yard.

Gotta love how RUclips's anti-shake feature makes videos even shakier.
