At the end Gabriel killed the council of Elder Angels, Max0r Voice the council member like he did in the act 1 video. That was not V1 that he killed

The devs didn't leave the bugs as they were often.
Instead, they turn them into actual mechanics.
For example, parrying your own shotgun bullets was changed so it didn't restore health like normal parries, but gave it had a unique explosion effect and style bonus.

A huge majority of attacks & projectiles can be parried and are sometimes by a subtle yellow flash just before the attack, but a blue flash means that attack cannot be parried. The Ferryman & Gabriel mix these mechanics in their movesets but they're easy to counter.
Ahh gotcha! There are some games I've played in the past besides sekiro that have this exact mechanic but I can't think of them off the top of my head lol
The grapple does have a tradeoff to keep players from using it too much at once: it inflicts hard damage on you with each use on an enemy. If you don't know, hard damage is damage taken that decreases your maximum health & can't be healed back until you wait a few seconds.
Sidenote: The Minos Corpse boss has an attack that reduces your Health to 1 & deals 99 hard damage, and time taken for hard damage to wear off scales with how much you take at once.
no I never knew about hard damage, that's a cool design choice! The only thing I can think of that's similar in another video game would be the damage you take during a focus attack in street fighter.
The scaling time to recover sounds like it would be a huge tilter against some bosses LOL

The grapple hook negates the bad part of the water level, but the water also negates the hard damage from the grapple hook so you can get used to it.
Also hard damage is only applied to the player if they grapple a heavy enemy or boss so if you grapple a light enemy your fine

From what I've seen it generally takes the normal person 50 to 100 tries to actually beat Minos Prime so Max0r must just be either an actual robot or a wizard.

Anyway, the guy that Gabriel decapitated in the end is one of the Council guys, you play as blue robot named V1 and the red robot is V2.
I played bioshock infinite twice as well when it came out and i still have 0 recollection of andrew ryan lmao

The last guy Gabriel beheaded was another Angel, yeah, part of the Council and showed his severed head to the Heavens, i haven't played it but the voice acting sells me SO FCKING MUCH on a deranged and lost Gabriel which rather see everything crumble because the heavens it's not as perfect as he thought for he can't even defeat the machine (our camera boi).
Yep. He was harder to fight in act 2 because he put passion into the fight. That was all he had to give

You are correct in that he was the deadliest sniper in U.S Military history but he was actually shot and killed by another veteran who was a diagnosed schizophrenic with PTSD, Kyle and another friend were taking him to a shooting range in texas to help him but he had an episode and shot both Kyle and his friend, Kyle did not take his own life

The gabriel fight being angry phase before light phase is because he started like, pure hate, and started having fun halfway through or something like that. Maybe not fun exactly.

the only character that is voiced in the original game and both max0r´s videos is gabriel, gianni matragrano is a shitposter so he makes a ton of meme videos voice acting gabriel, and he is the official voice actor for gabriel in ultrakill, some of this lines are real in game but a lot of the lines are just memeing, not cannon, if you hear gabriel say something serious in this video that means its a real line in game, if it sounds like a meme, its not real, its just gianni shitposting, oh, and gianni has worked before with max0r in other videos, like the metal gear one

To P rank a level you need to beat it under a certain time kill all main path enemies and do it with a certain style score it is not that bad I just finished P ranking the game and it is not that bad
That’s cool, the system they have to achieve P rank feels almost nostalgic but i can’t quite remember what old game it reminds me of
I’m guessing there’s probably a meta way to finish each level with a certain style score?
Cuphead did something similar to Ultrakill, the OG Doom and maybe Quake did keep track of your time and kills but did not give you an over all rank.
As for if there is a meta for P ranks I would say no not really at least as far as I can say from playing on standard the intended normal difficulty and not violent the hardest currently playable difficulty.
There is not a meta on standard it is more so just play generally good using tech often and taking out large groups of enemies quickly or focusing down a high priority enemy like Mindflayer, Cerberus, Malicious Face, or even Virtues so you can safely style on and take out the rest of the room without being killed or hurt too much
@@FrameOneAlexPizza Tower (a indie 2d plataformer) make a P rank mechanic too but is more challenging like is more like for people then play the game every time learning every paths,tricks and secrets.

Yep. They are fallen Ferrymen who lost to a rival Ferryman in a fight to the death, and the skulls are usually kept as a trophy

That shit is why I hate why reactors don't pause every time they want to speak. They speak while video is playing and end up missing the most obvious stuff.. Worse is when a reactor laughs at a joke and while they are laughing they miss another banger joke.

i only fought minos prime after beating the entire game and still had abou 110 restarts, although that myghtjust be me since i alos had 89 on the first gabriel but inteerestingly only 3 on the first v2

@@FrameOneAlex no you dont, only new weapon throughout the game and use money to buy some variation to your new weapon.
At the very end it wasn't the player who died, it was the Council of Heaven that is taking control after the disappearance of God, Gabriel killed them because after being defeated by V1 (the player) two times he realized that even with "the power of God" being with him he still bleeds the same blood as any other living being and that not even "God's power", or whats left of it, can assure him victory, and to show the citizens of Heaven that blindly following a Council that warped and twisted God's will is not their only option and that words can't stop the edge of a blade, he did what he thought would show them best.
God's disappearance is of unknown origin, Gabriel's conclusion is that he's "dead" and that they're following the dying flames of a once worshiped deity hence why his will was warped and twisted into a the council's image of God.
This will all conclude in "Act 3: Godfist Suicide"

Considering how the game doesn’t seem to take itself too seriously (at least i feel like it doesn’t based on these videos), the plot is pretty intriguing and i’m finding myself curious how the story is going to play out
