I have rigorous interest in mathematics
modern AI is heavily based on high-end calculus like linear regression is a very simple algorithm derived using calculus
most AAA title videogames 2d/3d use mechanics, vectors(for velocity, acceleration, momentum etc), matrices (for abstract datatype to store position vector...), calculus, 3d and coordinate geometry, shm, ...
most trading algorithms use probability, statistics, group theory, calculus to forecast results
social media use graph theory to make fast searching algorithms
animated movies use heavy geometry to create efficient 3d models and algorithms to render them
there are so many more like vfx which we see in movies, which uses the advanced ray optics to derive algorithms and not just these, there are so many applications if u combine pcm with computer science, you would know the real need of these things

I don't know the reason why, because i can't understand what maths has to do with real life... I'm just mindlessly solving equations and geometry without really understanding it's use. Or however it is made, it's roots or anything. And I think that's the reason people find it confusing or boring. Maths truly takes us to another dimension! It's a whole new world! Express -12/13 as a rational Number with Denominator....ex.65... I want explanation for this
so 13*5 is 65 , and it is given that denominator is 65 therefore we will multiply -12*5/13*5 as we know that if we multiply any number with denominator also have to multiply that number with numerator therefore the answer is -60/65
Without mathematics, this world is nothing. I always wanted to be a genius in math, but unfortunately, I couldn't become what I wanted to be. However, I never gave up and won't until my last breath.
I had the same thoughts. That maths is amazing but taught in wrong approach. It needs much more than just problem solving. Visualization is the key trust me. It will make maths something unreal. And fun fact. Even our culture has the language of maths. Sanskrit shlokas. Some of them have coded maths formulas in them!. Sanskrit shlokas are also meant to be chanted with a rhythm. And rhythmic patterns as we all know are made of mathematics. Rhythmic patterns are the core of this universe. Thats the reason our ancestors focused on rhythmic shlokas and maths. It is what connected the cosmos. We had it all along we just didn't appreciate the knowledge.
