Hey! The Box photo can really be anything! I would say try to use a picture that says something about yourself. For example, I wrote one of my essays on teaching English at aboriginal schools in Taiwan, and I used a photo with my students at the schools. If one of your essays highlights the importance of family to you, a family photo would definitely be fitting! But the picture doesn't necessarily have to relate to an essay (you can also write a short caption to explain it). For the perspectives essay, I wrote about my experiences as a Taiwanese-American- I think you could definitely tap into your unique perspectives as an international student! You can also talk about values or interests; it's pretty open-ended. Keep in mind they want to know what makes you stand out from other candidates! Good luck!! :)
