I have a PA 1000 I just got a keytar rk100s2 I searched RUclips for pa1000 and MIDI hooking up keyboards and yours came up WOW You gave me just the right information that I needed First I set up channel 16 on keytar Then midi input to Lower Then upper 1 Then pad 4 I tried each of these settings one at a time wow this is wonderful it opened up a whole new thing for me you can use those pads and use the sounds on the pads on the lower you don't have to use the cord that you can leave the chord thing off and just transmit the lower part of the keyboard sound and still have the chords going on the regular keyboard instead of the controller On top of that on the keytar I have like better control over the ribbon controller s And you can set the octave like just by pushing a button with your right hand
Sir I really pleased to watch your tutorial I have KORG Pa700 I am working on MULTI TRACK 16 Ch recording but struced at one place how select and record Rhythm n and which channel is designated for rhythm out if 16 channels n how? Thanknyou Sir
Just been looking to add a pedal board to my PA1000, but now thinking of resurrecting my Electone EL15 and use the voices etc from the PA1000. Looking at the manual for the Electone it should be doable as you have setup here.... any experience with the Electones Leigh?
Is it possible to send program changes to a Yamaha modx? Save the program sound that I like on the keyboard/performance set, so I can change the desired sound from the Pa4x? I’m trying to play and select sounds from the Yamaha using my korg pa4x only.
Interesting video, Leigh. I have a PA1000 which I would like to use as a 'twinset' with an 88-note Studiologic midi keyboard. This is very basic, obviously has no voices, but has midi in and out. I have previously connected it successfully this way to a Yamaha Tyros 4, but could I connect it to my PA so that it could be used as a lower manual? I'd be grateful for your advice and any instructions you could give me. Thank you, Leigh.
You could add a 2 CME widi master wireless midi adapters to both the korg and whatever instrument you are connecting to it if you wanted to go wireless.

I still haven't used the accessory one two three four and five I still haven't used the the base or the drums or the percussion
Does it also work the other way around? In other words, can you send the signal from the Korg to the organ, and let the sound come from the organ?
Yes you can
Sorry to be a bit dim, but is the connection between the two instruments by wifi or by cable please? Thank you.
The Korg doesn't have wifi. They are connected by a midi cable, midi out from the Wersi to Midi in on the Korg.
