We were never going to get any credit for beating Elgin, but I thought Devlin, Tobers and Jensen did well. Morris started to take on and go past players for the first time in weeks. Hopefully can carry that forward. Nilson still managed to look ponderous, even against this level of opposition and managed to get a booking because of it. I get the feeling that Peter Ambrose would enjoy his football more at a lower level at this stage in his career. He might have been looking at a loan somewhere if it wasn't for Sokler's injury.
Was good to meet you at the game in Elgin, Glen. Elgin certainly didn't make it easy for us, but it's a huge relief to end the winless run, get into the next round of the cup and Dunfermline at home is a decent draw. Very sad to hear about Jimmy Calderwood. Apart from that amazing run in Europe in 2007-08, one of the highlights for me was the 2-0 win at Pittodrie over Rangers to deny them the league title on the last day of the same season. I think you're right that if we hadn't been knocked out of the Scottish Cup in the semi final by Queen of the South - still to this day the maddest football match I've ever been to and which I don't think I've ever got over - we probably would have gone on to lift the cup that season.
nothing great, but nothing bad. the rebuild has begun, need to give jimmy and the troops time and it will come good. memories of calderwwods tombola squads will live forever ❤
We badly need to be working on set piece corners at training, we never get anything from corners and with new lads and their height it’s time to get this sorted

You are correct, I think the three players you mentioned deserve praise and hopefully can build on them

Pleasure to meet you Paul. Job done and home draw, we will take that. Fitting we got Dunfermline after the news of Jimmy at the weekend

Goodness you lads make me feel old lol.
Haha sorry Colin! Seeing some of our bench coming through is beginning to make me feel old so god knows how you guys cope with that

Couldn't agree more! I feel like we have no threat, when these should be a prime opportunity to create or score
