    My great great grandfather was killed in the 23rd of July at delville wood. He was never found and is remembered at thiepval memorial.

    My Dads oldest brother Paul Higson, who served in the Machine Gun Corps was awarded the MM at Delville Wood

    My Great Uncle Vernon Edkins died in Delville Wood.

    my grand fathers two brothers died there one on 24th aug 1916 after the date you talk about. he is in devilwood at v111.k.7 9th bat krrc 12546 e a salmon do you know much around that date. would love to know more hi other brother was never found and on polegsteert panel 10 5306 j r salmon 2nd bat rifle corp 25th sept 1915 they were from essex i now live in medway in kent happy to email you or be emailed by any with info
