Hi friends 🌲 I just published my brand new eBook, you can pick up your copy here: www.kalleflodin.com/ebook/find-your-true-north And btw, the bloopers are back, so make sure to stick around to the end 😉
Hey Kalle {and Miss Christine + doggos} Tx for this fab video share. I had to share that I just watched an outstanding interview that I think you guys will SO like. It relates to your love for all things 'sauna'. It is on a YT channel called MedCram from Apr. 10...very science/factual based of benefits that affect health etc. Not leaving the link as it may erase the comment, but know you will like it.
Great video!!!! Hey I want to purchase your book but it says 29,99 not 29.99. Has anyone purchased your book with the comma? Just wondering if the credit card will kick out?
As I sit here and watch cars drive up and down my street all day non stop and people walking past my house daily and the neighbors that live behind me always loud and outside.. I long so much for the peace and solitude you have. If I were able to move to the North of Sweden I would do so in a heartbeat. Thanks for the lovely video. Have a Wonderful, Cozy Evening to both of you.
Thank you for including the sweet clips of Tuss. My beautiful dog friend (a husky mix) passed away a few months ago and I miss her so much. Watching Tuss reminded me so much of her in her younger years. She was such a beauty.💗
Greetings from Finland, you guys really should have a sauna there, it makes it so much more fun and comfortable to have a wash. As a temporary solution, a tent sauna is quite easy to build up and quick to warm 🙂
Hey there, FYI fridge doors are reversible. You can change it to a left-handed fridge to make it way more convenient for the way your kitchen is setup.
That's what I called "healthy living". In the city, you go to the gym. But in the forest, you do wood chopping. Healthier to have cold showers than hot. Way to go!
Everytime I watch on of your videos, I feel like I'm home. Such a peaceful feeling. Thank you for sharing your lives and adventures with us. Prayers always.
A really wonderful video Kalle 🤗👏. I too am using our Ostehøvel for cooking so I can definitely relate! Also very glad to see the bloopers as I usually use a good 10-15 getting our chainsaw running and got quite demoralised watching you do it in one go !! 😅. - Again, congratulations on the video and your brilliant new book 📚✨🙏🤗. - All the best from you northern neighbours to the west 😁❄️
What a fun video. :) I loved the bloopers too. My favorite part was when your dog gave you a stubborn look when you called her. 😂 Husky’s have such humorous facial expressions. I totally thought you got the chainsaw to work on the first attempt and then the bloopers had me chuckling. The sled idea for the wood was a really good idea. Thanks for sharing another fun video.
Beautiful couple! Cozy cabin! Loyal canine companions! One would never know you've had to give up some comfort of another time to bring life and enjoy what you have now. Giving up some things makes a lighter mind and heart! Thank you, and Christine, for sharing what makes you both so happy! 🥰 🙏🏼
You're relationship with each other reminds me of the relationship my husband and I have!!!! It's such a special and unbelievable connection! I'm so proud of you two and all you've accomplished and built with one another ☆☆☆ May you share many years of adventure together ❤ 🙏 ✨
Humans are so adaptable. You show in your videos that happiness does not depend on technology but can be enhanced by it. I think many of us are just a little bit jealous even as we realize we could never do what you do. Thank you for sharing. ❤❤
This is definitely my favourite kind of video from you Kalle! A day in the life in the cabin. A lovely way to start my Morning, I am so thankful that you choose to share your life with us here!✨❄️
Jag älskar dina videor. (Did i get it right?) Your videos always put a smile on my face, and I have dreamt of living in the woods for a long time, but seeing your first video awakened that hiding feeling, adn brought it up to the surface. I'm still very young, but wish to have a life in the wilderness just like you. Vänliga hälsnigar från Finland! And keep creating this wonderful art.
I'm so here for the goofy energy 🤭 Amazing. Thanks for giving me a good laugh today 🥰 Also.... I knew you totally fibbed about that chainsaw starting on the first try! 😂
You guys both lucky to find each other.....she is one of the million to love you enough to live there with you. I'm also prefer to be away from all the noise and craziness with my hubby. Beautiful video. Xoxo
I have missed a few videos because my husband is battling Cancer .. wanted to tell you how sorry I am over the loss of you twos baby ! Please arm yourself !
I probably shouldn't have watched this at midnight because those scrambled eggs looked divine 😄 I know what I'm having for breakfast. Also the bloopers were hilarious. Excellent job on the video and ebook! 👏🏻
Of course it will start, it is a Stihl.😆 The next step in the thaw is that slush, post holing, snow. Then finally, the ground appears. Enjoy your Spring process unfold. Thanks for sharing.
Great video 🤩❤️ always loving the style of your videos. And it's heartwarming to see you and Christine so happy. ❤️ Just read your ebook and it's so inspiring, even if I am already close to find my true north. It really came out at the perfect time. 😊👌 So thank you for all your content and inspiration you spread to the world 🙏🏻❤️
Kalie & Christine you two are the perfect couple. So happy together with each other, living in the woods. Always think smarter, not harder. Again thank you for the wonderful voice Kalie
Kalle, don't feel bad about the wood chopping. Most Pine wood is so very easy to split. When it's dry! I had some pine trees cut down on my property once and I thought, well, I'll just chop these up and stack the wood for the winter so the rain can wash the sap out of the wood and when it is dry I'll put it in the shed. Well, I swung that axe and then bang, the axe came flying back right at me. It literally bounced off of the wood. That pine wood when green is like trying to cut rock. The axe just bounces off of it, but when dry it splits so easily. There are many types of trees that cut easy when green too, but a lot of pines do not. So, just give the logs a few months to let them settle after being cut, then pull them out occasionally and give them a whack with your block splitter. If they go easy, then you can have a day where you'll split them all up. Great video and loved the fact you put the chainsaw start up in one pull, into the video. I laughed when I saw that, because I have used chainsaws all my life and they never start like that. Oh, you might want to tighten the chain up a bit. Thanks for the entertainment!
Just a simple 'correction' needed. It should be an "A" before the word Vacation in your E Book Title ("...need a vacation from." Your vides and your Life ! look to be truly loving and wonderful. Congratulatioins on all of the hard work !
It's the little sounds that bring you joy too. I just completely closed my eyes when I heard you walking through the snow and made me smile as it reminded me of home! I now live in Australia and we don't see much of it. Keep smiling Kalle and sending much love. Xx
I was just binge watching a few older video's of you and then this video popped up. So happy to watch it! I haven't even started it, I wanted to leave this comment right away. I had the flu last week and now that I'm feeling better I am reevaluating my life and what I want. I love the freedom you have in the woods and the freedom online work has. Your video's inspire me to rethink what I want and to live a life that is more connected to nature. So thank you for your beautiful video's! Keep them coming :)
The Philippines has a very interesting tool that I have grown to love. Tabo and a bucket of water. The scoop is very handy for things like a bath/shower.
Tack, Kalle, that was such a fun video! I loved the bloopers, too. When your saw started right away, I thought, is that really the first time you tried? 🙃 I live in Värmland and we had a bear in the area this winter, which is very uncommon here. But 300 m from your house, that is really special. Here we do have wolves and lynx around regularly as well. I am not sure but I think the wood will be much easier to split once the frost is gone. If you imagine splitting ice versus water... Although frozen items can also break easily, so I could be wrong about that. I have decided to wait until spring has taken over anyhow and it is quickly approaching right now. The cranes are about to fly further north, so I promise you, those showers will get easier soon. 😊 Ha det sa bra, Karin
Enjoy your videos! Really like seeing the nature and your cabin in the north of Sweden. As an old logger with many hours running a chainsaw... you may want to learn a bit about chain tension. Properly adjust tension will save wear and tear on the bar and chain as well as cut better. Like the Stihl saw though, they are the only saw I have ever owned.
Wow doing all this and filming it...!!! It is so amazing 👏 👏👏👍👍. Thank you for an amazing video. These are my most favorite, just a day in life... Loved it!!!! 😊😊😊
My dad said the same when I bought a chain saw be careful. So Cute how you speak to us like we Are related 💕 so enjoy these videos and your heart for sharing 💞when is super cold wood splits way quicker just a Note on that. Wisconsin winter Girl!!
Nice video Kalle! Great editing and composition 👌 Love how Tuss doesn’t come when you call her that readily …unless you have a moose sausage. So much like my husky Maui. They are their own boss 🐺
Wow :) hard work done.....you are a strong MAN !!! & all with cold water. Thats very cool & a GREAT MOTIVATION !! Good luck for everything. Sunny greetings from Spain. Yvonne :)
The forests make us creative ... I fetched the trees with a sledge from the forest as you did, but when the snow melted and some of the trees were still in the forest, I had to create new way. So we fetched woods together with my father by useing wheelbarrows. I acted as a horse at the end of a rope and my dad pushed wheelbarrows. If you ask nice Christine might help you for that :) Happy Easter to Christine, you and the dogs too and congratulations on the new book :)
I have a few tips on technical matters that struck me in this video. Firstly, pay attention to the tension of the chain on your chainsaw. It was hanging way too loose in the first clip and is dangerous because it can fly off the blade and injure you. Secondly, lay your chainsaw on the ground to start when the engine is cold. This allows you to start more efficiently and is also safer. Lastly, use a heavier splitting axe and lower the block to be split. Because of the heavier axe, you will be able to transfer more energy and the beam will split easily. By laying the block lower you will hit the block better (over the whole surface of the axe and not only the tip). Moreover, your axe will have more speed which is crucial to split the block. The combination of lowering the beam and a heavier axe will allow you to cleave such beams in one strike. Lowering the beam is the most important of those 2 factors and easy to try. By the way, you make really great videos that inspire me a lot, thanks! I have a lot of respect for the decision to live in such a way, keep it up!
I love your place in the woods, and your dad is a very smart man! Takes a second for a bad outcome with chain saw. Have you ever considered getting a log splitter? I wish I was younger so I could do what you and Christine are doing. Have a wonderful Easter. Much love from AZ
Thank you 🙏🏽 🙏🏽🙏🏽 This was so nice and joyful 😃 ! I just followed you right into the forest and felt this beautiful nature around you as if I was there… This is like a meditation video ! Happy Easter to both of you and thank you both for making us smile ! 🌷🐣🌷🐣🌷🐣🌷🐣🌷
Oh lordy you need to tighten that chain a bit. 🤔 using a sled is a great idea. Those chain saw "chaps" we call them are awesome. They could save your life. 😊
Thank you for the video. It’s a Masterpiece as always. So happy about bloopers of course 😂. Enjoy your firewood soon until it’s not too hot outside. I really love your living style just it takes a bit time now when I/ we can find our small cabin in the woods close to animals. Happy Easter 🐣 !
It's very exciting to see a family grow modestly. I wish you good health, and I'm looking forward to the next story. I'm first visitor, and I decided to subscribe to your channel.
I don’t know if you know this or not but just incase, drain the gas out of your saw and run it until it goes dry. I have seen saws ruined because people didn’t. Nice saw by the way!
Ahhh LOVED watching this video 😁🙌💖 I started out watching whilst making my breakfast with you at the start, then settled to enjoy watching the rest. 🤣 “I love simple living”! I have to tell myself this often also...on days when it would be so luxurious to just press a switch for the heating and have instant warmth💖
So lovely to be out being silly with your dog hehee. As you were cutting the tree up, I wondered if you'd use the sled. not a dumb idea, I bet almost everywho is a regular viewer of yours was thinking the same thing. Handy thing to have. Yay for Spring! it's Autumn in Australia now. I'm in Northern Central Queensland, our days get down to about 27°c at the moment, very cool for us.
Vidrigt! Många trevliga danskar har stugor i området. Vilken total workout du får av vedinsamlandet! Your cabin looks soooo cozy ♡ Ha en fin vecka! Ditte (tibax' till Skåne i morgon) 🌲🌱🍀🌳

Thank you Kimberly 😊 Yes, over 300 people have made it work with the comma, so I think you'll be fine 😉
If I just watched videos like this a little every day, I think I’d be a better and happier person. Thanks for sharing your life, Kalle!
It's amazing how most of these videos of yours feel like cozy little movies, the effort and time put into it really shows. Keep up the great work!
That means a lot, thank you for noticing that ❤

Hi
Thank you for including the sweet clips of Tuss. My beautiful dog friend (a husky mix) passed away a few months ago and I miss her so much. Watching Tuss reminded me so much of her in her younger years. She was such a beauty.💗
Hard Work is good for your health!. I have always admired farmers and rural life..

Chop your wood and it will warm you twice
Nice video as usual!
At least twice!
Thank you 😊
It's as you say in the video, easier to cut the wood when it's dry 😉
Your wife is STUNNING! and that's from an old Grandma. Love the way your interact.
Take care of yourselves, guys and keep filming! It helps people be more positive and wishing to go back to nature 🌿🍃

Absolutely love seeing you guys grow, loving the humour in the video, such great quality and very creative!
At 2:00, when you lay the match down next to the two used matches, it told this beautiful story about how you light the stove in the same way daily. ❤
Or maybe they were failed attempts 🤣😉
Your videos just inspire me to appreciate the simple things in life💕
I have missed a few videos because my husband is battling Cancer .. wanted to tell you how sorry I am over the loss of you twos baby ! Please arm yourself !

Thanks for all your Videos! It inspires me a lot and I can't stop watching them since a few days! ❤️
Firewood warms you twice, when chopping it and when burning it 🙏
Just a simple 'correction' needed. It should be an "A" before the word Vacation in your E Book Title ("...need a vacation from." Your vides and your Life ! look to be truly loving and wonderful. Congratulatioins on all of the hard work !
I am pleased that you took No Offense...at my grammar correction lol Good for you !
It's the little sounds that bring you joy too. I just completely closed my eyes when I heard you walking through the snow and made me smile as it reminded me of home! I now live in Australia and we don't see much of it. Keep smiling Kalle and sending much love. Xx
omg, the bloopers!! I laughed soooo much!! 🤣😂
Always the best! 🌲❤
Haha 🙈😂
I was just binge watching a few older video's of you and then this video popped up. So happy to watch it! I haven't even started it, I wanted to leave this comment right away. I had the flu last week and now that I'm feeling better I am reevaluating my life and what I want. I love the freedom you have in the woods and the freedom online work has. The Philippines has a very interesting tool that I have grown to love. Tabo and a bucket of water. The scoop is very handy for things like a bath/shower.
Oh my gosh…the filming, the angles, the editing and cutting. Everything is so on Point! 😍 I love it! Guess one of your best ones so far 😍😍👌🏻
Wow, that's so sweet of you to say, thank you so much ❤
Love your cozy cottage 🤩
Thank you 🥰❤️
Tack, Kalle, that was such a fun video!
Ha det sa bra,
Karin
We have heated exclusively with wood for 12 years. That wood is much easier to split if it dries for the year before you try to split it.
Lovely video as always, Kalle ❤️ and congratulations on 150K subscibers 🎉
Thank you Signe 🥰❤
The piano is a touch of genius.
Your videos are so professional and calming, this is art. Keep up😊 Have a nice day✋
Thank you so much 🥰

Nice video Kalle! Great editing and composition 👌
Love how Tuss doesn’t come when you call her that readily …unless you have a moose sausage. So much like my husky Maui. They are their own boss 🐺
Thank you so much Susana 🥰❤ Haha yea huskies decide for themselves 😅
Wow :) hard work done.....you are a strong MAN !!! & all with cold water. Thats very cool & a GREAT MOTIVATION !! Good luck for everything. Sunny greetings from Spain. Yvonne :)

Great video Kalle!🥰

I’ve sold my house in the city and am moving to a cabin in the woods. Very excited to cha he my life.
That "I love simple living" when pouring ice-cold water on was funny! :)
I love the bloopers, keep showing them, those are the funniest parts! 😅
I was thinking the same thing, using the sled but with the dogs help. They would of loved it for sure..win-win 🤗👍
They were asleep, I didn't want to wake them up 🙈
The whole Vibe is great

Enjoyed this so much! Natural, loving and some real hard grafting!!! 🪵
Thank you for sharing as always x
I say only this: YOU ARE AMAZING BRO ! 😁😅 I love watching your videos. Keep going with this ! You are my inspiration to live with simply life.🙂❤👏
Really enjoyed this video and your humour :) Loved the scenes with Tuss so playful and your simple living.
Thank you so much for saying that 🥰❤️
Thank you for the video.
Happy to have you here 😊❤

Thank you Dominika 😍❤
So nice to hear the bird's. I like the cap you have on. Looks good on you Kalle. Sweet video
Thank you Laura 😊
Hey, let the logs dry out then cut then. Use snow to transport logs to your cabin you will cut tem in summer! Cheers! Great episode!
I don’t know if you know this or not but just incase, drain the gas out of your saw and run it until it goes dry. I have seen saws ruined because people didn’t.
Nice saw by the way!
Gillade bloopers inslaget på slutet 😀😀🥳🥳
Välgjord video! 😍🤩
Love the bloobers! Good night to you both. ❤️❤️
I love adding them! Good Night Mia ❤
Yay, thank you so much 😍
Haha, maybe one day 😅
You chose a beautiful soundtrack for the beginning of the video!
I'm so happy you liked it 🥰 I found the track 3 weeks ago, and I knew exactly what to do with it!
@@KalleFlodin actually the whole video is great! You captured everything in a light way! Congrats
Finally made it here... What a wonderful video, Love you guys ❤️
Aw, thank you Rosina 🥰❤
So lovely to be out being silly with your dog hehee. As you were cutting the tree up, I wondered if you'd use the sled. not a dumb idea, I bet almost everywho is a regular viewer of yours was thinking the same thing. Handy thing to have. Yay for Spring! it's Autumn in Australia now. I'm in Northern Central Queensland, our days get down to about 27°c at the moment, very cool for us.
It was nice to see both of you. Great video. Thank you 👍👍❤
Thank you for sharing,it is so healing to see you four:)
Thank you for watching it 😊❤
Vidrigt! Många trevliga danskar har stugor i området.
Vilken total workout du får av vedinsamlandet! Your cabin looks soooo cozy ♡ Ha en fin vecka!
Ditte (tibax' till Skåne i morgon) 🌲🌱🍀🌳
