Bitter Orange pops up in my recommendations pretty often so thanks for the review! I read her previous novel, Swimming Lessons, and didn't get along with it so knowing that and based on what you've said I don't think I'd enjoy this one that much either.

I'm glad you loved Wild. I did too, and I rarely come across anyone who has read it. It got me to love memoirs.

I pass over passages that I don't think will contain any useful info to me or fly through them quickly once I've got the jist yeah
i could never i’m so obsessive about reading every page, and often read passages repeatedly, wish i could be more chill about it lol
