when i get down to 50 micron I mix in about a gallon or so of kerosene or old diesel or off hwy diesel into my waste oil which speeds up the filtering process A LOT and helps clean the crud out. been running wmo/diesel mix in a common rail Tdi for a few years now no issues. I always filtered down to 1 micron.
I am a 2000 mile driver at 6 months. A tube drain valve flowing clean to clean catch 2.5 gal bottle. Filter thru large auto filter improvised into catch tub. All clean and sealed. Venting when transfered. No black. No water. No debris. Reuse is possible. Thanks for the proper way vid bro!
Unfortunately my project list is a bit overwhelming. The plan is still there, the items are still in the on line shopping cart but the only diesel engine I have is still bolted to the tool box. I have 110 gallons of filtered oil and I anticipate over 100mpg on the motorcycle so unless I sell off my commuter for a mechanically injected diesel commuter or diesel swap the grand Marquis idk how soon the new idea will come to light.
@@TACOMASRT5nicee, love the setup I’m about to order all the same stuff from DUDA diesel, I ran about 20 liters of filter and settled used Oil in my 02 VW Tdi and it ran it fine so I’m ready to do it at a larger scale!
I actually planned on using a 5 tier stackable shelf with a bucket on each shelf. But it wasn't in the garage long before it was full of stuff lol. Keep in mind the drain valve will out flow some of the filters. The half micron filter takes the longest to pass through.
Spigots from Walmart though if I did it again I'd use a ball valve or needle valve for better flow control, the filters are from DudaDiesel my recommendation would be to order all your filters at once as shipping starts at $12 wether you order 1 or 10 filters The EZ-BUCKET top filters are great but I wouldn't go smaller than 75 or 55 microns. As the sock filters have much more surface area to flow through however the EZ-BUCKET top filters are cleanable. I turn them up side down over my shop trash can and usually use an entire can of brake clean per filter to clean them. Be sure to subscribe as I have a new design I'm working on.
dudadiesel.com/filters.php I use the polyester ones with the plastic lip. I cut a hole for the larger 7x17 one and drop it into the lid of a bucket Then I cut a hole in the piece that I already cut out or use a coffee lid and cut a hole in it Then I put the 4x14 inch filter in that. So each time you pour it's double filtered If you want to do this make sure and get several filters so each filter lasts longer

I may try that

Any new videos of the setup you planned to do cant wait

Did you order each of the bucket filters from Duda I can’t find them that small micron wise

Have you used this process on waste automatic transmission fluid ?
Yes.
Motor oil
Vegetable oil
Power steering fluid
ATF
Lantern oil
2 stroke oil
It all goes through the filters and into the barrel!
How about suspending the pails from the cieling and run a flow tube from bucket to bucket, fill the top one gravity will finish for you?

Do you have the sock filter running through another bucket filter ?on this setup ?
All bucket top filters are on top of each other.
The rest have double sock filters
Thanks for the information on this long time wmo watf user nice to see a simplier less expensive setup
Good information. Wats the website to the company you used

Where did you buy the spigot on the bucket
Walmart. Though if I made the same setup again I'd use something different like a needle valve or ball valve for better flow control.
Could I get the link to the sock filter
