Carbon absorbs the dissolved stuff (calcium, sulfur, whatever) floating in the water. You wouldn't want to drink the carbon any more than you want that carbon freezing up your piston rings or caking up your intake valves.
I know lol, it's a video just for laugh's.
The carbon is not the problem being a lubricant, but not intended can clog passages, hold contaniments, hold condenced moisture on temperature changes. Though most often not needed for maintenance, does give you a good smoke show and make you feel good either way
Bahahahah love sea foaming!!

Id like to know more about your lift and tire sizes info
All on my RUclips channel my friend. The short story. 2" body lift. Front: 02 Ford explorer rear struts, 1" spacer between the bottom of the spring and the spring plate mount on the strut body, OEM springs, OEM replacement strut Tower mounts. Front upper control arm/ ball joint flip. Rear: 3" lift cups, OEM springs, air lift 1000 air bags inside the coils for more towing capacity, and 02 F-150 rear shocks. P.s. working on home made long travel kit for the front.
Just used this 500 miles ago on my Explorer and it cleared up the slight hesitation it had very quickly. Highest PEA percentage of any fuel system cleaner, it is the real deal.
Yep it really is awesome stuff. Well worth the $ There's a reason some fuel additives are so cheap, and ones like this and BG are more expensive.
Nice job god bless
Thank you
Very cool to see it running smoothly on 100% filtered motor oil with nothing diluting it. I suspect the injector pump will last waaay longer pumping filtered oil than ultra low sulfur diesel.
MADDOX Master Disconnect Tool Set - Item 56809 $40 at my local HF. I’m going to get me a set. Thanks for sharing
Good stuff
Nice job you have done. No link for the parts? Thank you.
I don't really know how to do that. I'm not monetized or paid for anything on my channel. $ and time are the biggest thing stopping me from making videos more regularly. If I had to do it over again I'd just buy the engine with electric start already on it. In the end the cost is about the same.
@@TACOMASRT5can you cut and paste the links to the parts?
I want to see what the final mix looks like, and see the little diesel run on it.
Well my filtering system is 5 gallon buckets then into the 55 gallon drum. Once 50 gallons of oil is added, then gasoline is mixed in and stirred. Then it sits a while to settle. But I absolutely will make a video of that for you, just a matter of getting enough oil.

It all goes in the pot!
I paid 60 bucks an beat the ahit out of mine an works great
It was a nice kit I just wish the C clamp didn't stretch so much.

Hola, cuantos mililitros por litro, para una moto gracias.
I'm not sure. I always dump the whole thing in my gas tank in my car which is 10 gallons.

Nice singing voice! 👍🏻
Thank you!
when i get down to 50 micron I mix in about a gallon or so of kerosene or old diesel or off hwy diesel into my waste oil which speeds up the filtering process A LOT and helps clean the crud out. been running wmo/diesel mix in a common rail Tdi for a few years now no issues. I always filtered down to 1 micron.
I may try that
I am a 2000 mile driver at 6 months. A tube drain valve flowing clean to clean catch 2.5 gal bottle. Filter thru large auto filter improvised into catch tub. All clean and sealed. Venting when transfered. No black. No water. No debris. Reuse is possible. Thanks for the proper way vid bro!
tehe 😁 dats very punny
Dude this is cool
If i may offer you advice, let the oil from your buddies sit in the containers they come for 2 weeks. Then pour it in your filterbucket. That way a lot of debree will settle down. Just try and look after into the containers how much has settled down. Works wonders
You should try heating thick oils to thin them instead of diluting with another product
Good idea thanks!
That's really neat!
wouldnt think it would run on PSF. weird but cool
Nice informative video. However, if you turn the camera to landscape, it will produce a much easier to watch video.
Thank you so much for your reply I appreciate your watching and your input. Believe it or not I am not technologically advanced and it wasn't until last night that I figured out if I turn the camera sideways first then hit record then it would record that way and be okay I used to hit record vertically and then turn the camera sideways that didn't work out😂
No doubt about that most RUclipsrs are aware of that

Diesel Engines are the best! There is no other engines in the world that can do what diesel engines can!
Bayberry flavored lamp oil ? Uhh, no thanx.
It just smells like regular diesel exhaust.
I don't even know what a "bayberry" is but does the exhaust smell like it?
No just smells like regular diesel exhaust
Okay. You gotta do essential oils in this thing. I'm talking lavender and all of the frilly smelling stuff. (Don't use orange, it melts plastics easy.)
Bahahaha I'll have the whole neighborhood turned on lol. Besides I'm just a broke dude testing what I get for free. Im just on here showing people that you can in fact use almost anything petroleum based as fuel for a diesel
A few ideas: Lawnmowers use so little oil, I don't mind using a couple ounces of relatively expensive full synthetic each spring on mine (currently using Mobil 1 0W-30 ESP, shared with my truck engine and my wife's diesel). I'd just use that 10W-30 petroleum oil as fuel for the diesel engine. Also, I'd love to see how the diesel engine runs on a mix of that two-stroke oil and stale gasoline. The only real reason a diesel engine doesn't run well on gasoline is because gasoline doesn't lubricate the high pressure fuel pump effectively. The two-stroke oil is formulated for exactly that purpose (making gasoline lubricate the bearings in a two-stroke engine).
That's a good idea when you make black diesel you are supposed to add I believe it's 20% gasoline per gallon of waste oil to increase the flashpoint and not smoke as much
Might be an interesting series or single video to see how the engine does under a given load (resistive load bank while coupled to a generator or makeshift dyno or some other constant load) to see a side by side comparison of energy output and fuel consumption. Could aid in determining what "waste" is better fuel to look for.
That's a fantastic idea!!! Unfortunately I don't have the funds for that right now. As I am a growing channel. I get used oil, for free, along with free stuff by stopping off to my local Household Hazardous Waste facility, that's where all the samples come from. If it runs out of the bottle it goes into the big tank to burn once my diesel electric hybrid motorcycle is built. That being said I could fill the tank with different liquids to see what liquids get what mpg as I take the same route to and from work every day.
@@TACOMASRT5 Not an exact constant given air temp/pressure but really might be better as a real world test under actual operating conditions. You would also notice any significant power differences between the different fuels as well at different RPM and under acceleration.
We will see I'll have to collect a gallon of each fluid to test. To get true mpg rating.
The one thing I noticed is that by tightening the bolts into the frame first it won’t allow the large bolt to draw up all the way where the bushings are. I could be wrong but that’s the way it would seem anyway. Have you noticed whether there’s some excessive play in it?
Not at all, but I'm not running away bars either so even driving on the hiway is a 2 handed experience
Try animal fats like pork, and beef fried out from cooking, filtered and mixed with a fuel anti gel agent. Once it stays in a liquid and runs through, it will smell like a delicious BBQ 😁
Awesome idea! I'll have to stop by a butcher and ask for a bulk amount of fat to cook down.
Most diesels will run on virtually any thing … when they’re hot
That's the idea just to get the knowledge out there. Thanks for your support
"Yes it does smell like burned ATF...because it's ATF and I'm burning it." 😂
😅
I have some air tool oil lying around i think.
Air tool oil and PB blaster air tool cleaner
Air tool oil and PB blaster air tool cleaner
I may have some extra air tool oil lying around
I'd love to see if it runs on 90W-140 gear oil...not because I think it might not burn, but because I'm wondering if it's so thick that the pump might not flow enough volume per minute to keep up with the engine.
Interesting thought!!! I would probably have to lose the fuel filter lol
Greetings from Germany, I have a similar Diesel generator at home. My advice, thin the oil with 10% gas to thin it. I have build a T fuel switch so I can start and shut down with diesel, and run on black diesel w90. Works awesome. I have successfully used waste oil engine/auto transmission and vegtable oils. Never mix them they can gel up. Up to 2% of acetone can help keep the injectors clean. But essential is a clean/well cleaned oil. I use a pressure driven centrifuge for it.
I run the oil through bucket top filters. 600/ 400/ 200/ 100/ 75/ 55 microns. Then through sock filters 25, 10, 5, 1, then finally 1/2 micron filters. I've got a 55 gallon drum of oil with 5 gallons of gasoline and 5 gallons of diesel added. I was planning on using the OEM tank to start on diesel, then once warmed up, switch to the motorcycle fuel tank which will have waste oil in it, I also plan on having a water fuel separator on board. This whole video series is for my motorcycle build. A diesel electric hybrid motorcycle.
Wait are you saying not to mix motor oil and ATF? Or don't mix motor oil and waste Vegetable Oil
@@TACOMASRT5 dont Mix any Mineral or synthetic based oil with plant.based oil
1. Who invented the diesel engine? A: Dr. Diesel! 2. What was his intended fuel? A: a renewable resource of vegetable oil. any of the oils your testing are about half kerosine....so of course they will work.
You are absolutely right! The test videos are for the people who don't know and doubt. Glad I'm not the only one out there that knows this already.
That thing's not going to last very long. High RPM spec, coupled with lightweight components.
Glad it's only $300 lol It will be a work horse though. First goal is 50mph so I can take the back way to and from work. If that is easily achieved the next goal will be 65. But I don't want to maintain 65 for an hour or more at full throttle so if it works out I will re gear for a higher top speed so I can cruise at a lower rpm.
thats awesome! thanks for doing it. i'm amazed at what this little engine can take. makes me want to build my own motorcycle with it
Go for it!
Dude. Try running it on transmission fluid. Old man showed me that trick. As long as the high pressure injection pump is mechanical, it will inject any fuel oil and burn it.
Will do!
I wonder if the detergents in the ATF will do any good.
@@EvenFive my friend has been running his old Ford 7.3 on used ATF for years. He's never noticed a problem with it. I've even ran my Cummins truck on it, it didn't like it as much cuz it's electronic control injection. But straight mechanical, burns almost anything
@@theinfamoussixcylinder3945 I'm sure it works, I just wonder if the detergents in ATF would do anything like clean the injectors/carb or cylinder head/exhaust.
im new here, have only seen a couple of the videos so far, what do you do with the leftovers? mix it all together and just use it up?
Yes, I filter it all. From 600 down to 1/2 micron and throw it in the 55gallon drum. To give to an idea a human hair is 50 to 75 microns. Am engine oil filter is usually 20 or 30 microns. A fuel filter is usually around 12 microns.
what about some used engine oil? would love to see something like that! (after a basic filtering, of course)
Well i made videos of it running on new engine oil so I don't see why it wouldn't. Thanks for the suggestion and support. Will make a video soon.
