For a not-made-for-youtube video, you sure provided me with the best video on youtube about this topic. Most of the other ones are trying to sell sinks or just DIY'ers with a series of mistakes. Thanks for this it was very helpful.

I really love your videos! Very informative and well done! After watching several and practicing on some vanity tops in forms, I'm going to try a pour in place kitchen project. Thanks, again, for sharing!!!

Great video. Thank you for all the details. I'm learning to pour in place for our kitchen. Especially like the information about the tools and techniques.

Loved your explanation and your technique! Thank you for sharing! I've been trying to get more confident to tackle our kitchen sink project and your video has definitely set me many steps closer to my DIY concrete kitchen countertop/sink... I was originally planning on just doing the sink but after seeing your project, I have a better idea... now all I need is someone to help me carry the thing once it's all done into the kitchen, lol! Thank you again!

Nice videos, thanks for sharing your craft! Can you share a little more info about how you setup the palm sander vibrator technique? How do you attach the sander to plywood?

There are many good products available to seal the concrete. I use this product on many of my jobs: amzn.to/2udtJ1f
If you decide to sand or polish you may want to stop at 400 grit, any finer and you may lose adhesion on any topical sealers and you risk exposing aggregate. If theres anything else help with then please ask

What materials do you need and what is the mixing ratio if you want to create your own concrete mix? I want to do a white countertop and can't find a pre-mix option. So far I have white portland cement and white silica. Thanks.

What is the best concrete for countertops? Someone suggested just a sand mix, would that be bad?

Have you had success with the shrink reducer and the plasticiser? The green and blue little bags? In reading through their instructions, they claim to only be compatible with rapid set products yet the concrete is sakrete. What’s your advice on these?

Nice video. I am planning to work on a similar project for my bathroom vanity top. Can you please explain why you used portland cement powder? Is it for smooth surface?

Do you ever have a problem with ghosting where the outline of the reinforcement shows through on the finished side? If so how do you prevent it?

Is it possible to do a pour in place with a sink? I want to do this for my island, but it's going to be 55"x99", so I would never be able to move it or fit it through my doors if I don't do a pour in place.

So does using the fiberglass keep from needing any mesh/wire reinforcements? Thanks for all the info! It’s been extremely helpful!
