Hello I discovered GO recently thanks to you and your time on The Devil's Plan Since then, I have fallen in love in this excellent strategy game I play 2-3 games a day to improve myself Thanks for everything you do and I hope see you soon for more new content on GO
Quite a fight, that’s to me how go should look like, being correct or not. Full credits to both players for doing so, and to you for explaining this game, that must have been weird to you too.
Speaking of using a strange opening as a strategy because people don't study it, I played my special opening in a tournament today and it went well! No one else plays my opening but when I made KaTrain play it a few times it had over a 50% winrate. It's 3-4 (top left, traditional placement), 5-17 (5-3 in the bottom right), 4-9. Kind of a tilted sanrensei for people who prefer 3-4 josekis. The 4-9 is helpful for double approach in the bottom right and for kobayashi-esque stuff in the top right. The game is normally won in late middle or endgame, both when AI plays it an when I played it, because part of the goal is to make it so white is juggling a little too much.
Ive used Orion’s Belt and beat leela elf, as the toughest 10kyu on OGS, I think tengen with black is ok. In that it’s no different than pretending blacks white and you went second. Hypothetically White nirensei you simply(invade and negate komi) via 3-3 taking two corners and the other two you get the influence. Yet you have a stone in the center already like magic the forgotten tengen makes blacks influence slightly better no? Hope that made sense, I’m sure there was a better way to explain it 😂
So black is saying it without saying it out loud that his opponent sucks at Go and I will crush you and you can't stop me. Hell, I will even give you the first move, because I think you need at least 2 stones to defeat me and I know you can't win anyway. I mean if someone is that good at Go that seems very impressive. For me when I try and play I get crushed, I guess I have not figured out how to play the game very well.
Gotta respect their sense of humor. Agreed to play 'tengen' opening on such an important game just because it's 'tengen cup'.
They did a service to go-sport. Too many similar games is not as interesting or testing the creativity as well. It should become a tradition!

I would have never touched a reality show, if it wasn’t for her participating. It was super exciting 😂
Thanks for the video, it's pretty hard to find good content covering tournaments and you do it pretty well
It makes me happy when you post new content. I hope you and your loved ones are doing well.
I saw you on Devil's plan today, thought it was cool! Glad to see you are doing well with your videos! :)
I'm so happy I got the right answers for picking the best move for the two positions :D
one of the best professionals we love a non gatekeeping queen
Thank you 누나
It's interesting to see that even right until the end, both could have won if they'd leveraged the oponent mistakes. Thanks for the great video!
Thank you for the game review!
Thank you, Yeonwoo !! ^_^
