    When following this guide, I get a message in the cart that the membership product cannot be purchased, and I should remove it from the cart. Woocommerce is working fine, and I can buy the product when it is not associated with a PMPro membership, but as soon as I associate the membership, I get the error message. This happens when I'm logged in or not. In the membership setting, "Disable New Signups" is NOT checked.

      Okay, after several rounds of deactivating and reactivating plugins, thinking I found the issue, then getting the same error again, I've finally figured out that the main culprit was the Woocommerce Blocks plugin. Once I removed that and went back to the default cart page, it's all working as expected. This is further improved by checking the Woocommerce option to only allow one instance of each product in the cart so when someone does click the "add to cart" button twice, the error message is more descriptive and says that "another" copy of the product cannot be added to the cart, which is different from the PMPro error of "This product cannot be purchased", which shows up in that case.

    Thanks for this video! Very helpful! But I’m having difficulties managing member access with this plugin. I added the membership level access to myself as an administrator but it is still showing me as a non-member and not letting me preview any membership content. Is this something you could help me with?

    The discounts prices are not working for me, they are not reflected on members. do you know what could be going on?

    EH... The only reason why I was testing Paid membership Pro was that I could integrate it with our woocommerce store, but then I'd still need the official subscriptions plugin and its 200€ per year cost? I'd be willing to pay a premium price if it was ltd, but hundreds of euros for very minor functions per plugin is just way too steep.

    • @StrangerStudios
      @StrangerStudios  3 года назад

      Hi Riku, sorry about that. Since using this integration, you will need to use WooCommerce's checkout page. Since WooCommerce doesn't support recurring subscriptions (without the add on), this limits the recurring subscription functionality.
      Can you use PMPro on it's own to handle the membership?

    Hi, thanks for this video. Regarding Member Discount Pricing, is there a way to show the original price with strikethrough on the side to confirm to the user that his member discount is being applied?

    • @StrangerStudios

      That's a great question, and yes. This article will show you how: www.paidmembershipspro.com/display-the-original-and-discounted-price-when-a-discount-code-is-applied-at-checkout/

    Hi. What would you advice to do if I want to sell my course access through a membership subscription and/or individual course purchase? I hope you are able to help as I have been searching for a solution and could not find any. Thanks

    • @StrangerStudios
      @StrangerStudios  2 года назад

      You can use our plugin to do that. We integrate with a few different Add On options for courses and even have one native to our plugin. www.paidmembershipspro.com/add-on-category/courses/

    Thanks! If I have a some courses in a membership level connected with woocommerce, the monthly payment is going to be automatic? so the credit card user is going to be charged without the need of meking him pay manually?

    • @StrangerStudios
      @StrangerStudios  3 года назад

      If you have WooCommerce handling payments then you need the WooCommerce subscription Add On as WooCommerce doesn't process recurring payments. Do you plan on using WooCommerce or PMPro to handle your payments?

    • @moisanchez
      @moisanchez 3 года назад

      @@StrangerStudios my plan was using woocommerce for payments because it has the possibility for other integrations, as taxes, funnels, email marketing, etc. What do you think? PMP could do that?

    If the customer has purchased a plan that has the woocommerce subscription extension or plugin activated and then changes a higher membership level also with the woocommerce subscription, will the customer be charged for two subscriptions or just one?

    • @StrangerStudios
      @StrangerStudios  Год назад

      HI Wordpressito. There is a setting in WooCommerce to ensure customers only have one subscription. woocommerce.com/document/subscriptions/store-manager-guide/#section-7

    I'm having a problem with the integration to woocommerce. I have created 5 products, each associated with a different membership plan. The problem is that every time I add a product to the cart it doesn't let me add any other, all the buttons change to "see more" instead of "add to cart". This would be logical if all products are associated with the same membership plan, but in this case each product is associated with a different plan.

    • @StrangerStudios
      @StrangerStudios  2 года назад

      We recommend that you only allow one membership product to be purchased in a single order, however, you can do this if you are using MMPU. For further assistance, I recommend reaching out to our support team at www.paidmembershipspro.com/support Or if you are not a premium member, you can contact us at www.paidmembershipspro.com/contact

    Am I able to sell digital products (e.g., pdf or zoom sessions) directly using this plugin without having to use woocommerce?

    • @StrangerStudios
      @StrangerStudios  3 года назад +1

      Hi James, you should be able to. You could embed the pdf, zoom invite link, etc into a page and restrict the page using PMPro. Would that work?

    • @jamess5542
      @jamess5542 3 года назад

      @@StrangerStudiosThanks for the response. That should definitely work. But how will I restrict content to only one user at a time and from a set IP/geographical address. Is there an example I could see?

    The idea is great but it is not working at all. You write about to set up parameters in the WP dashboard & Woocommerce but this information is nowhere to be found and you skipe this part as well in your video. After installing the plugin, an extra tab is created in the product but apparently I am not even allowed to create a Membership plan so... it is useless to me
