I have one of their "woolly mammoth" coats that I got at a thrift store like 10 years ago and it is still my favorite jacket to this day. It is incredibly comfortable and surprisingly well made, it reminds me of London Fog. Before I googled it a while back, I had no idea it used to be a store - I assumed it was a high-tier clothing brand.
Still have t-shirts (3.00) and one of their Carhart like coats (8.00) that I bought in one of their Greensboro, NC stores back in the early 2000's. Both have held up great and I still wear them.
It hasn't totally fallen but Papa John's/John Schnatter is an interesting case study. The rebrand was a terrible attempt to distance the company from Schnatter by simply removing the apostrophe, which makes it seem more like a big and tall toilet store than a restaurant. lol
I loved this store - shopped there all the time. Seems like a low priced store would do well in a bad economy! - What about Merry Go Round clothing? Would love to see a video on them
Hey there it's going good. Yea it's been a while I really want to get back in the groove again. How's are things going with you? I still follow up with your channel and watch your videos!
@@WhatstheStory123 Thank you. Just churning out videos right now. My list is now around 240 requests including around 60 malls too. Not going to run out of video ideas anytime soon. Other than that, good. Staying busy with my kids and work too. Great to see that you are back.
Back when they closed there's a rumor going around at the malls. We're paying them big money to open up and it turned out they're running a loss on all the clothing just to get all these bonuses
