I watched Dope immediately after On Kinetic Manifesto... That's when I became a proud Army, almost four year ago. They talk about the effort to make a dream come true, no matter what it is. RM talks about the hopelessness for the new generations He refers to the third and fifth generations, where the number means the number of aspects of a good life were given up and ask for, at least, a little bit of hope.
On Kinetic Manifesto was one of two songs that solidified it for me, too. I first watched “Run BTS” dance practice first… after those two songs I was obsessed.
For some reason this video did not pop up when it was first put out in my youtube app. Maybe that's why people not noticing it? I only saw it after browsing around in D&J React channel.

With the outfits they are saying they worked and worked hard like any other job and doing that is dope , which is really refreshing cuz at that time being dope in the media was just been the opposite aka , miss school , do drugs and go to party and not study. So that’s why this song is so good. And also in RMs part it’s a Korean references and how much the youth in SK has to give up in other to get a good payment which is give up 3 stuff to give up 5 stuff ( and that includes marriage , house , and even hope) in bapsade song ( that also referred to that ) explained by a Korean they explain that better. So in other words BTS is showing to the older generation and the media ( that just called them dirty spoon at that time ) that they worked and keep working their a. Ss up for their job just like other jobs made by the youth. Which became harder than the previous generation of SK cuz the starting of lacking of jobs ( remember that SK it’s a pretty small country ) Pd: V outfit represents a detective cuz it’s detective Conan ( it’s a popular anime , I don’t know if you know it ) outfit. Bts for halloween that year made a fan meeting performing that song with other costumes ( cuz Halloween ) which in this case jk does detective Conan , and suga does naruto, jimin Mickey Mouse , etc ( you should watch it , it’s funny ).

FYI: The dance was choreographed by a Filipino-American choreographer, Keone Madrid. They have other songs that was choreographed by him as well. Usually, their earlier songs.
Different outfits/uniforms means different jobs. V is a detective a.k.a Detective Conan (Japanese Anime) while Jimin is an office employee and Jin is a doctor. I think at JHope’s part (2:17) there’s a sports/race car, a car tire and the black and white checkered banner that we often see in race tracks.
About the cars, Jin is known to be a fan of cars n Yoongi has also mentioned before that he's interested in cars but idk about others nor do we know much about what car they own honestly 😅 So far it was reported in past that Jin owns a Lamborghini n Jimin owns a Porsche, i don't really know anything more.. 😅😂

I thought the different uniforms were for their day job. Like they are everyday people going for their dreams of making it big, but they also have to have that daily grind job to survive. Kinda like actors in LA or NY working hard auditioning for that big role while waiting tables or parking cars.
