I don't get why so many people hate the Twilight book/movie series. Twilight, from an objective point of view, is one of the best pieces of literature during our life time. I'm not a fan of Twilight but I have an enormous amount of respect for it because it has entertained millions of people and has sold millions of copies. Twilight fulfilled the objective of fictional literature (which is to entertain as many people as possible) than most literature that is published will ever do. Twilight deserves respect. It does NOT deserve hate. I have taken it upon myself to defend Twilight. If you're a fair and open-minded person then you'll enjoy my RUclips videos (especially the ones where I talk about this subject).

The thing is why twilight being so much hate since kristen cheated on robert. I think thats not fair, the movie was really beautiful and perfect, thats their personal life dont took it on the film. I still remember when twilight being the most romantic film for all teenager and obsessed with it

You know, if it entertained a lot of people, it is a good entertainer. To call it " one of the best pieces of literature during our life time" is a very different thing. The writing of the book is pathetic. It bases itself greatly on the hotness of the male and the ability of the women to loose her self respect, which is not something you want teens to read.

Twilight romanticizes a symbiotic relationship, as seen prominently in New Moon. Bella's extreme depression and lack of self worth (prevalent in the scenes where she puts her self in harms way just to 'see him') are extremely toxic ideas of what love should be and can prove piousness to the view point of a young viewer. Twilight is indeed, very entertaining, put is unintentionally peppered in very dark, and misguided romantic themes,

*Happy Sigh * GOD I LOVE THE TWILIGHT SAGA! Everytime I hear the piano though... 😢 I melt inside. It's nearly impossible to not love Twilight... I mean seriously, I'm a 11 year old who wants more Twilight episodes 😞. I know that it won't happen, I know that the actors retired, And I know that Stephenie Meyers Won't write more books. Some people will tell you that Twilight is not well written and cheesy. The fact that a book is well written is not why people love it. People love books because they are able to connect with the book in some way. I am not going to go as far as to say that it is well written. I won't deny that there are some flaws with the writing style. When people ask me why I love Twilight it is not something I can explain. I don't love it for a specific reason I am just able to make that connection. If you don't like Twilight that's okay. I don't want to convince people to like Twilight just because I like it, but please don't go as far as to find a Twilight video and comment bad things on it. Twilight has a big fan base and a lot of people who appreciate the true beauty that Twilight possesses. So please read this before you comment something bad. Twilight is my happy place. Please find yours somewhere else.
