Thank you, I just did an engine replacement in an identical car and I'm troubleshooting the same issue

Glad to help. There are so many videos to individually check battery if u want to document and provide result to ur customer and wanted to only replace each cell. But i highly suggest that if one is bad, then just replace all because some cell may fail anytime soon. And get a rebuilt pack that provides warranty to guarantee the repair.

Did you end up diagnosing this vehicles issues? This code P0AFC is one that I've seen far less than others. I'm only guessing, but was it an issue with the interior harness of traction (hybrid) battery? Corrosion of cell voltage sensing terminals? Or a burnt hybrid controller?

@@cs6658 In my case it was a dead hybrid battery

@@cs6658 If u have a scanner, just quickly check battery volts of each cell. If u see a difference compare to others, your next step is to check each cell to confirm. If it is low in voltage then replace a single cell or the whole pack. I highly recommend if u are replacing battery, its best to replace to whole assembly since the labor will be the same if incase the other battery fails sooner.
