I have a couple of extra thoughts on this topic. First, I am very aware of the good side of the gacha community and don't deny that there IS a "good" side. This was just a video focused on the donked up side that I was involved with growing up. Second, the inappropriate content didn't just consist of sexual themes, but things like gore, self harm, and s**cide. That was not in any way a better alternative for children to be seeing. And third, kids with trauma did use gacha as a way to express and cope with what they might have gone through. It definitely wasn't a super great method and they shouldn't have posted it online, but I don't condemn their actions. They're children who don't know any better. I just hope that they matured and are doing much better now. Anyway, Happy Holidays, Happy New Year, and stay safe everyone 🎄🎄🎆🎆
As an actual gacha tuber who’s now an adult. I let my sister play gacha games on her own and everything, but I steer her FAR FAR AWAY from the community. I grew up with gacha and it by itself isn’t bad but there are definitely people out there who ruin it for everyone else. I’d rather see her watching Barbie videos on yt than Gacha, as it’s easier for disgusting people to hide their deviant agendas with the cute characters. As I get older I see just how strange and creepy the things we were shown were, and a lot were other kids teaching other kids gross things because they were influenced. It’s really sad how it can happen to any community but that’s just life I guess
i remember u way back on gacha edit instagram from 2019 😭 people were brutal even far back then and i feel i could’ve avoided a lot of bad memories if i strayed away from the “popular” group of gacha life editors during that time 🚶♀️so strange seeing history repeat itself all over again with new creators, new problems, etc etc. weird stuff
I have to admit I was also a gacha kid but most of the stuff I watched was mainly the music videos. Looking back, I realize how lucky I was to have not fallen into the OVERLY sexualized and inappropriate part of the fandom. But regardless I still ended up spotting "mildly" inappropriate content (like cheating, violence, etc). I feel sorry for all the kids nowadays knowing that stuff like this cannot be overlooked or missed.
Lucky you, I had fallen into a mix of horrible and good, it was weird had I known what it was I probably wouldn't had clicked on some of this stuff... I was barely 8...lol it was bad.
I didn't get exposed to that stuff until I already knew what that stuff was, but I don't hate the community, I'm actually still in it, but I avoid the... aham... inappropriate content, because honestly, in my opinion, there are some really good videos. I really do not remember anything inappropriate back than, probably because I was obsessed with legends never die- Also I don't see those very triggering topics alot, although I do see tham when there are trigger warnings, but Hay... uh... my butt likes drama... its just more interesting than characters having no trauma, but I've been mainly watching minecraft nowadays.
Seriously. Even Gacha videos that people consider good or normal mostly on tiktok there are videos with abuse and self harm and mental illnesses. It's not just the sexual stuff that messes with children's brains.
My older sister use to be in the Gacha community and when I told her that I wanted to be a GachaTuber, she sat me down and explained about the community itself and how while their are some good GachaTubers…there are also bad GachaTuber who made inappropriate videos. She was so worried, especially the shit she saw, or at least that’s what she said.
She never told me what these inappropriate videos but all I knew what that it was bad and if I ever saw a video like that to come to her. So far nothing like that had happened but I still worried that I would come across a video like that…
As someone who’s still in the community… I HATE IT, every time I see it’s horrible. I thankfully didn’t get THAT side of gacha, but I did get introduced to gore and stuff. Which affected me heavily, though as I got older I grew out of gacha. Then back in it, but with more knowledge and caution. I enjoy Gacha because I can make more creative videos. That would take a lot more effort drawn out. Though that hasn’t stopped me from drawing, I like mixing the two. I just hate that kids has to see all that gross stuff and get so heavily effected by it. Thankfully my older brother has always kept careful watch on the stuff put in front of me, warning my parents and such. TDLR: Still a gacha kid, hate the community that was created, effected in a different way, agree with everything you said in video :D [This is not supposed a vent, this is rather me sharing my experiences with gacha]
as a 14 year old who is still trying to fix my head it will not just be on gacha but anywhere you can see. I had some gross phases too and i don't think I can ever forgive myself for it.
If it helps, your not alone. Seriously. I'm 15, I'm pretty sure I have Pure-Ocd, if you search online, there are MANY young people- more than you expect- who were on the internet at a young age and so was exposed to many things not even an adult would be OK seeing. I mean, just look at how many likes your comment has. It might not be better, but ATLEAST KNOWING that SOMEONE also saw things you did, and maybe even had it worse made me feel comforted. Because someone was going through what I was going through. Some days are better some days are worse. Can't forgive myself neither to be honest. But whenever I'm in a rut remembering stuff I did. I only allow myself to be mad 2x a day. Anymore and I tell myself I can think it over tomorrow, or be resigned. Also, I like to vizualise myself now, and myself as a kid. And remember to seperate myself from that time. LOL I know this comment is huge compared to the small one. But I hope atleast 1 person sees this and feels better.
@cxstmd1245 OCD induced guilt squaaaaad! But fr, to everyone here, please remember that kids are stupid and dumb and make dumb choices because they are young and naive and don’t have a lotta life experience. You cringing at your past self means that you’ve grown and matured. You are not the person you used to be, and your dumb decisions when you were little shouldn’t weigh you down with guilt. Kids are naturally curious and are often drawn towards “taboo” or “off-limits” stuff because it’s interesting. Again, you regretting it means that you’ve grown. So please, don’t beat yourself up for decisions you made when you were a kid. It’s ok to forgive yourself. Sendin love
As someone who is sorta active in the community I can confidently say that Luni had no intention for these things to be made with his game, when you open Gacha life 2 the terms and conditions say NOT to make that type of thing. Although there was a situation right around when the game came out where someone did do that I haven’t heard anything since so it seems to be working at least a little bit
I remember he had an interview with a spanish gachatuber???? idk , she is in the game, but he did confirm that it wasnt his intention in the first place to have content like THAT of his game floating around the community, and that he has tried the most to stop that type of content, there is even locked out colors in the clothing because he is trying to get rid of the innapropiate content. Its kinda sad to see how people can turn something innocent into something disgusting and im glad that luni has done his best to make his game good. (idk if i worded that sentence right, if i didnt, sorry :(. )
The gacha community seems to go back and forth to whether or not luni should be held responsible, let's not forget the "master" and "pet" roles as well as the fact that there was originally a pole-dancing pose in gacha life. I might be wrong about this one, but wasn't there also an underage succubi (a demon usually associated with s3x)?
@LionessWhite-ig3hk yea iirc the character was like 15 or something (probably wrong but the like... sentiment of underaged succubi character in one of his other games is true I just cant remember the details)
As someone who was also a Gacha person from 2017 - 2022, I can agree with every point you made. I saw some cringy and definitely not appropriate for kids stuff and are probably traumatised. I didn't expect such high quality content from someone with 6 subscribers. Wow !
As someone who regularly makes gacha ocs and even hopes to be a gacha content creator, the fandom is definitely infamous and has been for years. It’s actually gotten to the point where some people don’t like telling people they are a part of the fandom because of its reputation. There are still some absolutely incredible creators in the fandom like Mika rou, Gacha Omnia, Moqa, and lots of other creators. I think a lot of the problems is just kids doing things they see other people doing that they don’t understand is a bad thing.
For anyone in the community who wants to fix this, here’s how to do it. 1# if you see weird gacha videos DONT WATCH THEM, at most you should report their channel but DONT watch their videos. 2# don’t search weird gacha videos up, even to report them. 3# ignore as much as possible 4# we gotta try harder to break the stereotypes guys
I still do gacha, i love the game. That said.. I'm so so glad that i never saw that part of the fandom. Really just so so glad and now i actively avoid that part of the fandom. Thank you for talking about this (especially as your first video)
i wanna bring this up cause i haven’t seen anyone talk about it so far. I don’t know if y’all remember, but all the games up (before gacha studio up to gacha life) had this free chat feature where you can talk to other people online. There were separate chat rooms for different media and in gacha life, you could create your “own” chat room by typing random 6-digit numbers. This is what i mainly spent my time on in the community. i would come home from school and go onto the app, just to be able to talk to people and roleplay with them. This led to me having to see tons of people having s-xual rps and creating rooms just to go do that stuff. I would also come across people making chat rooms just to vent, except they would give others the code to it and those who went would have to witness all that. This happened in the main chatrooms as well btw. There was a report button, but i’m 90% sure nothing ever happened to the people who were reported, which led to everyone in the chat room to have to tell the people engaging in that stuff to cut it out and to stop. There’s also the fact that adults could easily use this to talk to minors too. i remember meeting someone who was 17 at the time and i was 12, and while that person specifically wasn’t weird, there definitely could’ve been adults talking to kids on there doing god knows what. This feature got quietly removed in june 2019, and while at the time i was devastated, it was the best decision for everyone’s safety. on a more happier note, i really do have fond memories of the chat rooms. the silly deltarune rps that me and the people i met on there had are some of the most cherished memories i have and i really hope they’re all doing amazing.
Woah, I didn't know I could create my own chat room.. I'd always try to join in but my messages would be flooded away by thousands of other people roleplaying about whatever... my younger self would've loved it.. I'm glad I didn't know.
Oh I'm really aware of how a fandom can ruin a good piece of media. I know that feeling all to well. Never had any experience with Gacha Life but the community I was in had basically the same thing that you described happen.
I fear, some Gacha RUclipsr making a video about how (insert horrible thing happening to children) is fine, and a child having that happening to them going “oh, so it’s normal :D” and never getting help
Definitely agree with everything you said! Also as a kid who was in the Gacha community at a VERY young age (7-10) I was definitely exposed to things that I shouldn’t have been exposed to and they have traumatized me ever since. I’m lucky that I haven’t become hypersexual due to it since I have heard of others who have. And your point about people just telling you to ignore the bad side of the community is so valid since I have been told that same thing. Just like you said, it’s hard to ignore the bad stuff when it caused you trauma and it leaves a bad impression. Underrated video and art btw! You earned a new subscriber! 😁
I agree with pretty much every single point you made in this video. The Gacha Community has always been fun for story telling and like you said, it was mainly intended for children. I'm 15 as of now and am remaining in the community because I want to prove that the community is stronger than what most people think. If you search the term 'gacha', you will be swarmed with the negative side of the community because no GOOD story teller puts the full word 'gacha' in their work because they want to be separate. The series "Unbounded" by Emika is such a good example of how the community has evolved since it's boom in 2017/2018. I think we all go through "phases" in our life, especially since it's so normalised. Even in school we learn about the 'odd' topics and it definitely shoves us all into disgusting phases. It's just important we don't let that phase become a personality. My plan in the community is to be the better creator and make stories that are entertaining to all viewers. Also, your style is great 😎 I wish you luck as a content creator 🔥
HI! I’m part of the Gacha community, especially I’m in the mini movie/series community. I’m horribly sorry for this part of the community revealing BAD things. I used to watch certain types of mini movies that had “Cool” and “Couple/certain romantic topics”… I personally had to talk to a counselor about it. I wished I never clicked on those videos honestly. Now sometimes when I do see stuff like that I just recommend for people to kinda report it (especially if the don’t have any like warnings or age restrictions)… For creator: COOL/AMAZING video!!! Hope you make more videos-
I found gacha world when I was 10 or 11, and absolutely loved the game, then gacha studio, and every game after, I still use the games honestly, but back as a kid I was also exposed to a lot of bad content, sexual content especially, and it honestly changed me, I was lucky enough to dislike talking to people online so I never had to meet any creeps, and I know if I had liked social media more as a kid I absolutely would have because of how normal it became to me while watching old gacha, I still pop my head into the gacha community, and I know a lot of fans are older like me now, but I think they still forget that sexualizing their characters, in a kids game, is bad, but those same people will be against gacha heat. Even if they basically do the soft core version of it
I was into Gacha Life during 2019, and yes, I did stumble upon inappropriate content, but it didn't traumatize me a lot. The characters were adorable, and I even made a few videos with Gacha Life that are still available on my now-locked old RUclips channel. I used the PC version because I didn't have a smartphone back then, and I was pretty young at that time. I think I may have forgotten some stuff related to the dark side of Gacha Life, and that's good for my mental health. I feel bad for the creator, Luni, who had to see the fandom suffer from all the disgusting things adults (or supposedly children) were making.
Back when I was younger and in the gacha community I was so scared to go out in public because I was scared of being SA’d due to how often I saw it depicted in gacha videos. The worst part was, I wouldn’t tell my parents why I was so scared because I knew it was wrong to watch that stuff but I just kept doing it because it made me feel good while I was watching it, but I felt terrible afterwards. This video really opened my eyes to how bad that time in my life messed me up. I had previously just blocked out all the memories I had of that time, but you helped remind me of it and I’m going to bring it up with my therapist and seek help.
I saw Macaque pop up and I feel you on that- But yeah no I agree with pretty much all the points made. And as someone who had both an mlp phase and a gacha phase, both communities really tarnished the fandoms and reeeeally made my mental state spiral n I still got some f*cked up stuff mentally that I'm dealing with from it and I just wish that these communities didn't get ruined. I use the gacha club game, but I only really use it to make quick references of characters when I don't have the energy or time to draw them out n I don't interact with the community and don't ever intend to get back into the community. Great video also! looking forward to more vids you post!
As a gacha kid since around 2019, I've seen basically every part of the community, and it messed me up pretty bad. From silly gacha movies and music videos, to emo phyco murderer stuff, to older content, ive unfortunately seen it all. And even if you try and pick and choose what you watch from the community, your gonna get that disgusting older stuff every once in a while. The community's calmed down a bit actually, its more focused on drama now than the weird stuff, but weird stuff is still there either way. Idk what im trying to say at all, but i needed to yap so thanks for coming to my ted talk lol, time to watch old gacha movies cus i feel like it now, have a merry christmas if you made it this far (its dec 25th)
I agree completely on all of your takes. I was introduced to the gacha community in 2018/2019 and it was really nice at the time. But then 2020 came…I was also in a big fnaf gacha phase back then, so I relate to your experience there as well 😂 during that time however I started noticing that videos kept making jokes about r@pe…like A LOT and REALLY CASUALLY…and then of course the gacha Heat Community…a rabbit hole I would never completely escape until 2022. I was curious and secretly watched and made content like that for a while, but I’m glad I got out of that part of the gacha community. Like you said, it still lingers at times, but I’m also aware of how disgusting it was, making stuff like that with a children’s game…and I was a child myself. Basically from when I was 12 until like 14 I was active in the nsfw part of the gacha community. Now I’m not really active in the general community anymore, I still have gacha on my fyp occasionally and then I usually watch it aswell, but definitely not as much. I also don’t play gacha anymore. But yeah, those were wild times of good and bad memories 😭
As somebody who's still within the Gacha community, I usually avoid saying that I'm in it due to the bad reputation that we get. I'm glad you pointed out on how bad things where normallized, though I don't know if it was just me that realized that everyone was just stealing other people's ideas and claiming it as their own "original idea". That's most likely how such aweful things got normalized in the first place. I also grew up on the bad side of gacha, it's taken me a few years to get that bad stuff out my head but I'm glad I got almost all of it out, cause I somehow still have my innocents even though I was exposed to such things. I can't really say that the community isn't as bad as it used to be, there's still bad stuff out there, it's just not as common to see it recommended. (for me yes, let me know if it isn't for anyone else.) Thanks for reading! Have a good Christmas and Happy New Years! :3 🎉
As someone who used gacha I loved it still do even used it for making my ocs and favorite characters mixed with them I loved making and watched but there was so much drama and stuff I shouldnt really know and I didnt understand I hid my interests and it kinda made me rethink I had a friend who made me feel worse than I should have I mean Im in a cartoon for hate now and I wish no kid should see this never until they’ve learned what this stuff why it’s bad and it shouldnt be normalized
As an adult gacha tuber I completely agree some of these "trends" our community does aren't things that need to be trends I try to keep my videos on the happy and silly side with a bit of gore on the side nothing too serious though no weird trauma fetishes I mean kids watch this stuff so it's like ur teaching your audience that this is ok to fetishize abuse and trauma when it's not And dont even get me started on heat that sh!ts absolutely nasty And the fact that the gacha community is NEVER happy with updates our community apparently needs new stuff every day its like lunime is a human to and hes working on his own things Though the community is very creative there a little to creative for there own good
Genuinely, thank you so much for making this video. I've been active with the app (and fandom) for years now and I resonate with this a lot, we were all just kids man. Kids who wanted to create something and got exposed to the worst type of individuals because of that naivety. I really hope you're doing better nowadays, no child needs to be exposed to hyper sexual content EVER. Sending love your way, and if anyone reading this comment is in the community, knows someone young who is, please, keep them/yourself safe. Goes for any fandom really, it's definitely not a problem exclusive to Gacha.
Hii! Love your video, and I'm looking forward to more content from you (if you feel like it ofc). I feel like this is not talked about enough. People just call it cringe. It was sh for me that i was exposed to too much. It made it look like a normal coping mechanism. I did try it before. It's honestly messed up how a cute game could have such horrible influence.
Tw: sh mention As a kid I watched quite a few gacha videos, I was obsessed with all of the gacha games at the time. My first ever introduction to sh was a gacha life music video to the song “Miss Wanna Die” by Juby Phonic. Honestly the amount of dark content in that community was and still is concerningly large. Plus, with all of the infamy that Gacha Life had I was constantly bullied for liking it. It’s not even a bad game, it’s no different from any other character creation game. But the community really screwed it up. (Off topic but the art and commentary in this video is amazing, and it will be getting eaten. 🍽️)
Not even just it being adults starting it out- A lot of truamatized children (like myself- but luckily i mostly avoided creating content with mature topics in my youth) would re-create their own truama or things similar to it be drawn to it- even in spaces absent from adults Not a good thing and im glad I left that community back in middle school 😭
As a part of the Gacha community, and as a minor myself, some of the things that has been normalised in here is actually disgusting. The people the fandom has let roam around consequence-free? It’s terrible. I deeply apologise for the bad part of the community. The way some trolls just cause controversy (Bella the wolf, h3aters etc) it’s causes the community to crumble under its own feet in reputation. I deeply apologise for that half of the community. It’s truly a disgrace.
Yeahhh as someone was in the community and still in it… I saw and watched a lot of f up stuff without even understanding it. I remember watching a sander sides reaction video and next think I know Patton and Remus are doing weird stuff….. I love this app cuz it helps me be creative but watching not just the sexual stuff but also abuse that much probably wasn’t health! Thank you for letting me realize how f up all of it was looking back!
I am still in the Gacha community though I feel like I haven’t been interested in it as much as I did back like 2 years ago, I do sometimes still watch some talented gachatubers like Y3LLOW, Wise fox, and Mika Rou but I just haven’t really been interested as making more Gacha stuff and looking at Gacha stuff, one of the reasons was because I have gotten called “cringe” multiple times because of it and I also started to get interested in more topics like vocaloid and Hololive, also another disgusting thing that is still going on in the gacha community is that scammers have been making fake Gacha h3at mods that don’t actually work and just try to steal your money, I have gotten them many times and they put thumbnails of the ads that are actually really inappropriate and disgusting (yes they use Gacha thumbnails with h3at) and a bunch of drama happens in the community to, Back in December 2023 in the Gacha community people didn’t expect a bunch of drama to happen in the community in 2024, but when 2024 came, a BUNCH of Gachatubers got exposed.🤦♀️
As someone who was in the Gacha community from a very young age, I can easily say it really does mess you up. I was eight. Eight years old. THANKFULLY I did not pick up any gross habits or normalise it, I felt like it was wrong, even though I'd never been taught about things like that yet (rightfully so) and did my best to steer clear of things like that. I can't say the same for the violence/gore side of it, unfortunately. I have said things, drawn things, that I wouldn't even be able to say or stomach now. Imagine a, like, nine year old going around saying "I'm going to gouge your eyeballs out and eat your intestines" If you've had a similar experience, (which so many people have) know you're not alone, and I am SO SO SO sorry you had to go through that. :(
This video was so amazingly put together, and the way you explain your own experience with the community was so detailed (and awful). I too used to be d e e p into the gacha community when gacha life was popular. I even had a few channels that I abandoned bc i kept changing OCs and stuff. I use gacha life 2, but I just use it to help with character designs for ocs and stuff.. anygays 10/10 video i will subscribe yaaay :D
Hello! gacha user who has been here since gacha life here! i think that stuff manifested into the gacha heat shit from like 2020-2021. I was one of the kids affected by that, and it stuck. I thought that stuff was normal. it comes back sometimes as intrusive thoughts and i try my best to ignore it. I was just 7-8 when that happened. i honestly hate that gross part of my life, and wish it never happened. Its right to that time i found out what s3ggs toys were… Im doing better now ig. My mental state us still kinda fucked up, just not by gacha stuff.
As traumatizing as it was, it's undeniable how many memories and fun moments were created through out the time line of the community. Especially MEP collaborations, fanmade MVs bla bla bla etc. I loved it so much, it does hurt me to see how toxic its grown since its something that we all grew up with as a child/teen
Im in the gacha community and im *so glad* i never bumped into those vids and when i did, i ignored them and actually hated them because my fav creators back then called them cringe and wrong.
Y’know, I’m really glad I don’t associate myself with that fandom anymore 🥲 Not changing my pfp though because it’s nostalgic to me for personal reasons, but ohhhh my gosh the way I dropped out’a there after all the Mika Rou drama…Yeah- I won’t be coming back, I’m finally an animator now like I wanted to be for over 4 years. HERMITCRAFT AND LIFE SERIES ARTIST/WRITER FOR LIFEEE ✊💜
@GhostPal. HEHEHEEEEE! I eat, sleep, and _breathe_ that fandom, and have been for over 6 years 😂 I may be American, but because I practically grew up with Grian and Mumbo, I sometimes find myself speaking with a slight British accent and using more British terms lol. British insists ESPECIALLY! Add ‘you absolute’ to the front of any sentence, and you’ve got the greatest British insult ever XD
As someone who grew up in the gacha community, I both love and hate it. I saw overly sexual & violent topics as young as 6-7. And that’s nothing to gloss over. It also helped me be creative, make some of my best memories, and got me into so many fandoms I still adore. That for sure does NOT fix the damage, but it’s nice to know that at least SOME of the content I saw was actually decent and helped me make memories. Also ps; don’t give your child a ton of internet access because you’re too busy watching sports to pay attention to them xoxo
I was also a gacha vid. I got on the bl gacha series side which in EVERY SINGLE BL GACHA SERIES its always that omegaverse shit which without FAIL contained sa n 🍇every single time which was always romanticized. With stuff bein done to me irl back then I geinuenely thought it was normal n how you show love to someone. Kids brains are like playdough. Its still soft n can be molded n shaped however by WHOEVER. Its incredibly dangerous n the gacha community diff was a factor of it. This vid is pretty good on bringin light to that. Love this vid, cant wait to see more
Hi! I usually don't comment on videos, but I was also in the gacha life community back in the day. Thankfully I managed to get out of it intact, and I somehow didn't stumble upon the stranger side of the community if memory serves correctly. (Which I'm more than thankful for!) Although I do believe the Luni didn't intend for that side of the community to propser, I do have a vague memory of stumbling across a thrusting animation in the app. Thankfully, I do believe Luni removed this at some point (which is evident by the fact that it wasn't covered in the video, as I assume you had to download the app for footage.) I don't know, it feels like a weird aspect of Gacha life that feels like it should be noted on, but I'm not sure what to make of it. Either way, great video!
I remember when I watched those Gacha Life mini movies about the hated child turned magical princess or the broken girl who was replaced by her friends and bullied to the point of self-terminaton. I was in an abusive situation with my parents, and thought that everything the characters went through was normal, even though I felt so angry seeing them suffer. I learned a lot of serious topics through these videos. I was so inspired that I made a video of my own. It was actually made in one of those Yandere Simulator knock-off mobile games. To no one's surprise at all, it was called Broken, and it was about a girl who was, you guessed it, bullied to the point of self-terminaton. Looking back, it makes me wonder why I wasn't properly taught about these topics. Adults, especially parents, need to be careful of what the kids are learning, and most importantly, how they're learning it. No kid should ever think that getting abused, an eating disorder, SA'd, or committing self-terminaton is normal and should be made into cute, chibi movies.
This video honestly summarises all my opinions and stances on the gacha community perfectly. If it weren’t for Roblox, I wouldn’t have even been introduced to the game itself:,) I saw a glmv (gacha life music video) with the songs I’m only human and roar, thought it was all hand drawn, had my go at it, gave up, saw a Roblox game about it wich lead me to the app itself, made some silly characters and made my own first glmv on kinemaster and also my first joke glmm (gacha life mini movie, cause I rlly liked to watch those at the time. It was all silly and fun and I could easily lose myself in it when I wasn’t busy. I would honestly have a gacha RUclips channel from that time if I wasn’t so scared of making one bc I was certain my parents wouldn’t allow it, luckily, but I lost all of my first original content and kinda wish I’d uploaded it somewhere so I wouldn’t lose it:,) I remember the excitement I had when Gacha Club rolled around and I downloaded it as soon as it was available. Honestly, somewhere, in the middle of gacha clubs fame peak, it started going downhill for me in terms of weird shit, wich I kept on seeing. I also had the longest Afton family phase, even created an entire friendgroup around it that lasted a few years. One thing that I also loved: reaction videos. I used to love seeing my favourite fictional characters react to whatever they were showed, it was fun to see how people other than me interpreted them. I also had a vivid tmf (the music freaks) phase to the point all my friends get annoyed whenever I mention it bc I’ve talked about it so much:,) my favourite videos from the fandom were that one “your friend Steve” glmv with Lia, Henry and Liam and that one reaction video that I vividly remember the thumbnail of. I now act like I just saw my teacher while outside of school every time that video crosses my fyp. Honestly, as the community got bitter-er and all the controversy started happening, I slowly fizzled out of my by then nearly 5 year love for the gacha community. I was out by 2022, only occasionally picking the game back up. And now it’s almost 2025. I don’t think I could ever get back into gacha life like that. But I look back fondly on the earlier days when it gave me a lot of joy:) holy shit that’s long anyways how’ve your days been fellas ;-;
It really sucks kids have little to no safe spaces, especially online. I thankfully was never in the gacha community, but I’d play the games every now and again cuz I adore character customisation. I did still keep up with whatever was happening in the community and games tho. The amount of worrying things I’ve seen is uncountable, sad gacha life attracted a weird bunch.
I joined gacha cause I was a loveless child from an abusive household Few years later I would be doxxed, harassed, Harassed, and would suffer in abusive relationship and be blamed for it
I had to leave the community after the Evil Ethan drama. It was then when it dawned on me just how truly toxic they had become, and I couldn’t take it.
I remember being really in to gacha, but also unfortunately falling into the rabbit hole of ‘gacha heat’ content. I first saw a mention of it in a reaction video but me being the curious idiot I was, wanted to look into it myself. Some of them were just disgusting and bad others were just- GRAPHIC. Eventually I left the gacha community myself because I got tired of children constantly fighting each other because someone used the same hair clip as their ‘OC DO NOT COPY OR STEAL’.
I blame EVERYTHING on Gacha Life/Club. If I didn't see that I wouldn't be in this mental state rn. The effects it did on me is the reason I am like this. i would, perhaps, be a little childish n all but it's the goal. I shouldn't have been thinking about how I'm going to run from home in case I'm gay (I'm not) because Gacha told me that if I was gay, my parents gon beat me up or smth
Note that there was inappropriate themes in Gacha life before like some adult chat rooms in the old chat feature and 4:15 this character is a reference to a problematic media
My problem with adults or even teens who explore sensitive topics like r4pe, abus3, explicit content in general- is that they never warn you properly. and its tagged correctly either. Normally they always say: 13+ or 15+ or whatever the age of the creator is. But I dont think these young creators realize that these topics should be explored when they are more older with maturity. The storylines are rarely even well written, and the topics they try to explore just lack nuance. I feel like its actually young kids or teenagers who are exploring these topics rather than adults- (adult do these things too, usually when its an adult its for a predatory reason) because they are exploring these things on their own without any guidence from their parents. They dont understand how serious these topics are and so they make content like that because they probably dont any better. Thats just my two sense 😭 Great video tho!
Thank you all for the love on this video! :) I won't be active much because it is Christmas and I am rather busy around the house. I'll post a comment later giving some extra thoughts I have that didn't make it into the video (I can't pin this comment because I'm not verified enough yet🙄)
I wasn't super into gacha as a kid - sure, I'd create characters on there and stuff, but I never really stuck around, but Gachaverse pulled me in. The RPG story, the more mature art style of the cards and characters.. it was all so fascinating to me. Plus, you could even read a bit of backstory about them, which just endeared me to it more! Safe to say, that cancellation broke little me's heart. Needless to say, I was absolutely flabbergasted when one of the games (can't remember which one) actually HAD the turn based rpg mechanic!! I got to the third story chapter before giving up because the levelling system was awful.
Gacha is the reason for my hypersexuality. I got a Gacha Heat video in my recommendations at the age of 7, and I didn’t exactly get what I was feeling but I kept watching more and I had gotten addicted. I still watch sexual content a lot, but I really don’t want to. Despite feeling good while watching those videos, all I feel is shame after. I’m 14. Please keep in mind I’m not blaming Luni for any of this at all, as it wasn’t his intention.
I knew things I shouldn’t know at my age because of the Gacha community, im so glad I got out of it What concerns me MOST is because one of my friends claims that without the object show community OR gacha community they would be dead I find it extremely worrying that they needed two community’s well known to be toxic in order to not kill themselves
Gacha creator here, I feel like there is a place for Gacha content to explore other topics but in no way should it be near sexual assault, rape, etc. Your takes are fucking amazing! I was exposed to Gacha heat content as a kid and while it didn’t fuck me up as bad as other people, it did introduce me to a very inappropriate world that I thankfully avoided. The community is somewhat older nowadays and my biggest issue is when content creators put in no warning on their videos.
yeah i personally just dropped out of the gacha community since i didn’t find it fun and it was also at a point where i was aware it was kind of too cringe lmao, but there was a lot of stuff that flew over my head, like the gucci bracelets, abuse and stuff that just got normalized. pretty weird. i agree with u
As your first video, i think this is pretty good! I enjoy your humor and i think you explained things pretty well. Also, the fact you're playing pressure in the bg is so funny to me bc i just beat that game and have had an obsession with it for the past month lol... i like your art and the music you put in the vid! I think you have potential! Keep up the great work! Also, i wanna talk about my own experience with the gacha community. I was 8 around the time i discovered it, and the first ever videos i saw were mini movies and animation memes, and i remember clearly being so fascinated by it. Being able to make your own little characters and put them into a story where you can create anything was mind-blowing to me as a child, and i begged my mom to let me play it on her phone where i now have (un) fortunate memories of the edgy cringy ocs i had. But when i asked if i could become a gachatuber to my parents, my dad searched what is was up on yt and told me he didn't want me to be apart of the community because of nsfw content being made and the normalization of such harsh topics. I never made gacha life vids bc of that and i havent really thought about using gacha in a serious way since then, and now i play gacha life just for shits and giggles ironically with my friends
Well, I'm etill in that fandom and I fell great. Now I rarely see that awful side but I know it's still there and I can't ran away from it...I did stupid stuff. On my channel I still have gacha, I had like 2-3 years of break on RUclips from gacha, I did it on TikTok but dtopped few months ago because TikTok madr me addicted and I decided to end with it. I just few days ago came back to this. Was it good idea? I think yes, I have fun creating this content on this platform. I have 116 subs! It makes me so happy, few years ago it took me many months to get my 40 and in just few days I got these another 70. I love Gacha, I'm proud to be oart of this.
I use Gacha because of personal preferences (and mental illness, I can draw but it takes a lot of effort, once I’m better then yeah I’ll probably transfer to fully hand drawn), and like, bro, if I could just disassociate myself from the community I would, I love this community. But, I hate the fetishisation of many topics such as SA, abuse, homosexuality, I hate how this community is most times, I hate that I’m forced to associate with people who normalise abuse. I hate so many parts of the community but love other parts. I’ve gotten people telling me to stop using it without consideration of my reasoning. I hope this community gets better.
As a recovered gacha kid i can say that it is a dark place in my history that i will keep locked away in the chambers of my mind. I learn a lot of things, that 8 year old me shouldn't have learnt about from this chibi characters.
This is a really well made first video! And I'm sure it was a surprise to get 491 (including the on you got from me now) subs. I hope your RUclips journey keeps going well! You seem to have a good start! And on topic with the video. I also will make the argument of "every community has its bad side". Luckily I don't use that as a way to dismiss the bad side. I use it as it shouldn't be the prime example of a community. If someones problematic in a community absolutely call them out. But I want someone to see the cool and super fun stuff with a community rather then the people who slither in to be awful people. Again, great video! Good luck with RUclips 🧡🔥
i’m still in the community after all this time (been here since Gachaverse) and i can say from experience that the community has sort of.. split into two different groups really. There’s the trends, gacha edits, “””reaction videos”””, and stuff but there’s also the animation memes, character creation, and innocent mini movies and music videos that just wanna bring the community back to how it was in the past There’s not really much of an in-between. But i can say that i’d much rather be on the OG side of the community. Just fun times, making fun little stories with fun little characters.
As a remaining gacha kid from 2018, this fandom has literally turned me asexual from pure disgust at heat content😭🙏 I saw that shit at 11, and it traumatized me so badly that I’m repulsed by the mere thought of sex and anything sexual💀
Should I leave too? I love creating videos, but I feel uncomfortable being associated with this community. But at the same time, I'm not great at animating and Gacha videos are the only ones that I truly enjoy making, and I've met a lot of good friends from it too, so I'm confused on what I want to do.
@ Honestly, it’s up to you. if it’s easier to use gacha then i’m not stopping you here. if you wanna leave because of the state of the community, be my guest. again, it’s honestly your choice if you wanna leave or not.
The sadddest part is when a lot of the people making thst disgusting content are kids themselves who saw it and thought it was normal, or even 'quirky'.
Former Gachatuber here. I'll be fully honest, most of my issues ended up not forming because of the community, I barely interacted with it. It was mostly because of my mental health. I ended up making a react video for a fandom that was in a big boom due to the 2nd to last episode coming out in a day. I'm appreciative that the video did good, but I hate that it did *too* good. I felt holed into that one fandom and it eventually got to the point where I didn't want to make anything for a fandom I loved, because people wanted more videos. I'm definitely doing a lot better when it comes to youtube now that I've put Gacha well and behind me, but that almost year that lead me to coming close to deleting my channel many times was *a lot.* (Appologies for the long comment that honestly become more of a rant 😅)
It's crazy how when Lunime created suggestive stuff, it was kids that gravitated towards it, but once he started catering towards kids, creepy adults gravitated towards it
As a kid ᛁ was introduced to gacha life and never even knew about topic of “gacha heat” until my online friends started seeing content about it and telling me about it
Former Gacha kid, the amount of concerning shit I've seen in the community is wild. As a kid, I would watch like Gacha FNaF reaction videos, etc. some videos promoted really awful things, and that's what really fucks up the community, well actually children. Hopefully maybe someday the community gets better, and less fetish shit pops up.
Gacha was my childhood but I left it around 3 years ago, thought I still watch some vids here and there.. Kid me discovered it through those "Dark side" glmv, dang does anyone remember those? Like most of the gacha kids back then, I was too exposed to those gross stuff, thinking it back it definitely had a impact on me, although I would argue today's gacha is somehow worse..?? (I won't go into details, I think most of you know) At least back then if we had one of those gross vids, three other vids would at least be decent/normal, today however most gacha content is toxic sh1t.. BUT it doesn't makes those older gross vids any less worse/traumatizing
As a gachatuber and a minor- i honestly never realized or noticed. It was normal to me- i always knew the community was iffy, i think everybody should before joining, but... still
Small rant!! Tbh, I do have a side channel where I make videos with GL2 for my fantasy universe of OC’s, I always make sure to put as many warnings as possible in my titles (especially when it comes to the trauma of my OC’s) and I always try to make it clear that anything bad that someone did my characters is a BAD thing and affected them badly. I personally don’t aim my content at children, and avoid doing so. I was also exposed to messed up stuff as a kid through Gacha, and it’s probably why I’m still kinda messed up in the head (not to a terrible extent thank goodness). I definitely don’t try to encourage or enforce any of the bad behaviour that is shown in my videos (that makes it sound like I make Gacha heat, I don’t btw 😭), and most of my OC’s emphasise certain thoughts of mine, or some of my past or current behaviours along with my insecurities and everything else that fits into that category. Things are definitely a bit better than they used to be, but for some reason or another, random icky gacha stuff will pop up in FYP 💀 so, as someone that’s part of the good side of the community, I am SO, SO sorry for the behaviour of the creepy/weird ones.
Im so glad im not the only one, I'm a gacha creator and the part of my series im on now isn't on the ocs trauma yet but it will be later I like to always pose my characters (the abusers and the ones who gave the ocs their trauma) as bad. Literally, I don't even try to remotely justify their actions and it's to the point I literally make other ocs directly call out the bad (morally) ocs out on it in story. So children know it's not OK. That whatever abuse, or gore or whatever they do, isn't OK and never will be.
@@RumiCatty I think the only exception with my OC’s when it comes to this is one of my characters that offed his whole adoptive family, he didn’t even mean to and wasn’t really even in control of himself when he did it, the trauma of just coming out of the trance and seeing his entire family dead also just wiped his memory in a way, so he has no memory of this either 😭
@@FatherOfCabin7_ItsApollon nice OC! Trigger Warning for this: Most of mine have gone through some stuff (abuse, SA, etc) and i always frame the abusers actions and abuser as bad. But I don't know if I should stop making OCs with these traumas or not as I don't want to be insensitive to victims and I especially don't want kids finding it.
@@RumiCatty as someone who has OC’s like that, I definitely recommend putting warnings in the titles. As far as I know, a lot of people won’t be offended, since it’s an Oc. Try to emphasise that it’s an OC and that you’re not trying to disrespect people with that form of trauma.
Now I wanna leave the community, but I like creating videos with the app :( I guess I should leave though, since what's the point in staying if everyone else hates it?
Its like learining to ride a bike. You start with training wheels and after you get good enough, you take them off. The logical next step for someone like you is to simply become an animator, an artist. Sure it might be harder to make things, but in the end. You can do more without the training wheels
Don’t think like that, I think you’ll regret it later if you do enjoy Gacha, and just cause there are some weirdos doesn’t mean the app is bad and doesn’t mean you can’t find a space where normal people play it Idk u do u I guess
If you like using the app and don't WANT to leave, then don't force yourself to. All I can say is be very, very cautious when looking through the community's content.
As a person that is self considered as a Gacha tuber, I dislike the fandom very verrryyy much. I mainly use the app to get a base for what I want my ocs to look like. Many ppl in the community feel horrible about others in this community and what they are saying. I may be young, but I have been in the Gacha community almost all my life, and I’m very mature for my age, so I hope my comment on this subject can help others understand that many dislike what many are doing with this app and are trying to do their best to stop it.
I watched a LOT of gacha videos and music videos and although I was very lucky as to not stumble across more of the sexual stuff, the amount of videos normalising sh, ed, abuse, su!cide etc and all of that sort of stuff was really horrific for being aimed at such a young audience. In fairness a lot of it was from kids being edgy (I know that bc I was one of them 😭) its still really uncomfortable looking back and seeing how normalised those sorts of themes were in mine and probably many other kids minds
Something that I feel like was a big contributor to the weird shit made, was the fact that a majority of the people creating it was children. Kids would watch other kid's depictions of topics they should not be showing, and would base their depictions of said thing on the already messed up story. I'm not really sure if I explained that right, but I think that a lot of the messed up things we saw in those glmms were made by people in the same age range as us. im not saying this to minimize the impact of the weirdo adults in the community at the time--fuck them actually--but to say how much weird shit spread this video was nice. i dont think i could handle an overview of the community by someone looking from the outside, thank you
i joined the gacha community when i was like 8, luckily ive never rlly watched these… topics the only reason i left is bcuz my siblings used to make fun of me for liking gacha, tbh i sometimes just go on incognito mode and just watch a bunch of gacha vids lmao. anyways ur content is awesome, i am now very full :3
i got hypersmexul because of some of the stuff in the community but the main problem with it is that most of the time there’s really gross stuff that isn’t talked about
I used to be a Gacha kid as well. I was exposed to some weird shit and it was kinda the root of some of my grosser phases. I'm actually SO glad I climbed out of that rabbit hole
That is good that you do that for your sister, best she stays away from the community!
i remember u way back on gacha edit instagram from 2019 😭 people were brutal even far back then and i feel i could’ve avoided a lot of bad memories if i strayed away from the “popular” group of gacha life editors during that time 🚶♀️so strange seeing history repeat itself all over again with new creators, new problems, etc etc. weird stuff
@ haha yeah I didn’t get mixed up with people too often and I’m definitely glad I didn’t
@@ander_1O1 I'm pretty sure you were one of my favorite creators a couple years ago lol
@ LOL small world after all, glad to see you’ve been better since you were involved in the community :3
I really do not remember anything inappropriate back than, probably because I was obsessed with legends never die-
Also I don't see those very triggering topics alot, although I do see tham when there are trigger warnings, but Hay... uh... my butt likes drama... its just more interesting than characters having no trauma, but I've been mainly watching minecraft nowadays.
Same
@Vin_makes_music same! But i was 9
Yeah, you never found the song 'Body' in a gacha music video then...
I feel like the gacha community should stop and think before normalizing serious topic.
Seriously. Even Gacha videos that people consider good or normal mostly on tiktok there are videos with abuse and self harm and mental illnesses. It's not just the sexual stuff that messes with children's brains.
@@Doodlands I absolutely agree
Kinda the same way with pedophiles being exposed, it has happened so many times people just became desensitized to it
Fr, as a gachatuber myself I can say that not everyone is like that, but some of these poeple just are so fucking disturbing 😭
As a person part of the community, I agree. It’s a bit absurd how serious things turn into “memes” so easily
So far nothing like that had happened but I still worried that I would come across a video like that…
Yea, I understand. I wouldn't want my sister to go through that too.
TDLR: Still a gacha kid, hate the community that was created, effected in a different way, agree with everything you said in video :D
[This is not supposed a vent, this is rather me sharing my experiences with gacha]
as a 14 year old who is still trying to fix my head it will not just be on gacha but anywhere you can see. I had some gross phases too and i don't think I can ever forgive myself for it.
Don't blame yourself mate, you are still a kid
Ur 14 I'm sure u didn't know any better don't blame urself
@cxstmd1245 OCD induced guilt squaaaaad!
Wow !
Dang look now! They low key blew up!
@ YOOOOOO
As someone who regularly makes gacha ocs and even hopes to be a gacha content creator, the fandom is definitely infamous and has been for years. It’s actually gotten to the point where some people don’t like telling people they are a part of the fandom because of its reputation. There are still some absolutely incredible creators in the fandom like Mika rou, Gacha Omnia, Moqa, and lots of other creators. I think a lot of the problems is just kids doing things they see other people doing that they don’t understand is a bad thing.
Exactly
For anyone in the community who wants to fix this, here’s how to do it.
1# if you see weird gacha videos DONT WATCH THEM, at most you should report their channel but DONT watch their videos.
2# don’t search weird gacha videos up, even to report them.
3# ignore as much as possible
4# we gotta try harder to break the stereotypes guys
As someonr apart of thr community, YESSS
Also, your style is great 😎
I wish you luck as a content creator 🔥
TMF is fire aswell tbh 🔥

Now sometimes when I do see stuff like that I just recommend for people to kinda report it (especially if the don’t have any like warnings or age restrictions)…
For creator:
COOL/AMAZING video!!!
Even if they basically do the soft core version of it
0:38 why did I start laughing at the fact a Kwite video was used for an image 😭
As a gacha and mlp AND fnaf kid, I think I messed myself up
I saw Macaque pop up and I feel you on that-
But yeah no I agree with pretty much all the points made.
I got caught off guard when i saw this video didnt have like 5k views 😭 anyways super awesome video!! very captivating and epic art!!!
Idk what im trying to say at all, but i needed to yap so thanks for coming to my ted talk lol, time to watch old gacha movies cus i feel like it now, have a merry christmas if you made it this far (its dec 25th)
the background gameplay is so real
(also quick tip while you're holding an item underwater it makes you swim noticeably slower)
Oh my lord, I don't know how I never noticed that--
I agree completely on all of your takes.
(for me yes, let me know if it isn't for anyone else.)
Thanks for reading!
As an adult gacha tuber I completely agree some of these "trends" our community does aren't things that need to be trends
I try to keep my videos on the happy and silly side with a bit of gore on the side nothing too serious though no weird trauma fetishes I mean kids watch this stuff so it's like ur teaching your audience that this is ok to fetishize abuse and trauma when it's not
And dont even get me started on heat that sh!ts absolutely nasty
And the fact that the gacha community is NEVER happy with updates our community apparently needs new stuff every day its like lunime is a human to and hes working on his own things
Though the community is very creative there a little to creative for there own good
Genuinely, thank you so much for making this video.
Tw: sh mention
As a kid I watched quite a few gacha videos, I was obsessed with all of the gacha games at the time. 🍽️)
Same but except for sh thoughts honestly I'm conflict about it whenever I consider one sh victim at all 🧍♀️
Not even just it being adults starting it out- A lot of truamatized children (like myself- but luckily i mostly avoided creating content with mature topics in my youth) would re-create their own truama or things similar to it be drawn to it- even in spaces absent from adults
Not a good thing and im glad I left that community back in middle school 😭
As a part of the Gacha community, and as a minor myself, some of the things that has been normalised in here is actually disgusting. The people the fandom has let roam around consequence-free? It’s terrible. I deeply apologise for the bad part of the community. The way some trolls just cause controversy (Bella the wolf, h3aters etc) it’s causes the community to crumble under its own feet in reputation. I deeply apologise for that half of the community. It’s truly a disgrace.
help- i was in the middle of a gacha mini movie when I saw this. I stopped everything to watch it- ANYWAYSS love the vid and ur png avater thingy :3
I did get to see so many people make amazing stories so it keep me positive! Like Rosy! 😊
Imagine a, like, nine year old going around saying "I'm going to gouge your eyeballs out and eat your intestines"
If you've had a similar experience, (which so many people have) know you're not alone, and I am SO SO SO sorry you had to go through that. :(
This video was so amazingly put together, and the way you explain your own experience with the community was so detailed (and awful).
Its right to that time i found out what s3ggs toys were…
Im doing better now ig.
Hey, this is cool. Yapping without being overly loud, soft voice... I can't wait for more, Foster.
HERMITCRAFT AND LIFE SERIES MENTION
@GhostPal.
This video honestly summarises all my opinions and stances on the gacha community perfectly. If it weren’t for Roblox, I wouldn’t have even been introduced to the game itself:,) I saw a glmv (gacha life music video) with the songs I’m only human and roar, thought it was all hand drawn, had my go at it, gave up, saw a Roblox game about it wich lead me to the app itself, made some silly characters and made my own first glmv on kinemaster and also my first joke glmm (gacha life mini movie, cause I rlly liked to watch those at the time. It was all silly and fun and I could easily lose myself in it when I wasn’t busy. I would honestly have a gacha RUclips channel from that time if I wasn’t so scared of making one bc I was certain my parents wouldn’t allow it, luckily, but I lost all of my first original content and kinda wish I’d uploaded it somewhere so I wouldn’t lose it:,) I remember the excitement I had when Gacha Club rolled around and I downloaded it as soon as it was available. Honestly, somewhere, in the middle of gacha clubs fame peak, it started going downhill for me in terms of weird shit, wich I kept on seeing. I also had the longest Afton family phase, even created an entire friendgroup around it that lasted a few years. One thing that I also loved: reaction videos. I used to love seeing my favourite fictional characters react to whatever they were showed, it was fun to see how people other than me interpreted them. I also had a vivid tmf (the music freaks) phase to the point all my friends get annoyed whenever I mention it bc I’ve talked about it so much:,) my favourite videos from the fandom were that one “your friend Steve” glmv with Lia, Henry and Liam and that one reaction video that I vividly remember the thumbnail of. I now act like I just saw my teacher while outside of school every time that video crosses my fyp. Honestly, as the community got bitter-er and all the controversy started happening, I slowly fizzled out of my by then nearly 5 year love for the gacha community. I was out by 2022, only occasionally picking the game back up. And now it’s almost 2025. I don’t think I could ever get back into gacha life like that. But I look back fondly on the earlier days when it gave me a lot of joy:) holy shit that’s long anyways how’ve your days been fellas ;-;
I joined gacha cause I was a loveless child from an abusive household
Few years later I would be doxxed, harassed, Harassed, and would suffer in abusive relationship and be blamed for it
I am so, so sorry you had to experience that. I hope that things get/got better for you
i feel really cool knowing that i am your 61st subscriber
I was the 14th :3
I can confirm, if I wasn’t in the gacha community I wouldn’t be traumatized and a totally different person to now
Oh my god im really excited to see more videos from you i think this actually a fucking amazing first video
Yo this is an amazing video, I loved it :)
6:57 *sniff sniff* I smell Lego monkie kid photo
is that mephone or i am blind
I won't be active much because it is Christmas and I am rather busy around the house. I'll post a comment later giving some extra thoughts I have that didn't make it into the video (I can't pin this comment because I'm not verified enough yet🙄)
Wowowoiee>!!
I knew things I shouldn’t know at my age because of the Gacha community, im so glad I got out of it
What concerns me MOST is because one of my friends claims that without the object show community OR gacha community they would be dead
I find it extremely worrying that they needed two community’s well known to be toxic in order to not kill themselves
I wish your friend the best
I learn a lot of things, that 8 year old me shouldn't have learnt about from this chibi characters.
the pressure in the backround🔥🔥
There’s the trends, gacha edits, “””reaction videos”””, and stuff
but there’s also the animation memes, character creation, and innocent mini movies and music videos that just wanna bring the community back to how it was in the past
There’s not really much of an in-between.
As someone who was been in the gacha community from 2019-2022…yeah no i’m happy i left🌚
Having an internet gacha phase was both a blessing and a curse
I'm definitely doing a lot better when it comes to youtube now that I've put Gacha well and behind me, but that almost year that lead me to coming close to deleting my channel many times was *a lot.*
(Appologies for the long comment that honestly become more of a rant 😅)
Ive been in the gacha community since gacha studio in 2018 and its been a hell of a ride 😭
It's crazy how when Lunime created suggestive stuff, it was kids that gravitated towards it, but once he started catering towards kids, creepy adults gravitated towards it
6:32 …… Was not expecting someone to like those two in a female view point.
(I won't go into details, I think most of you know)
At least back then if we had one of those gross vids, three other vids would at least be decent/normal, today however most gacha content is toxic sh1t..
@@FatherOfCabin7_ItsApollon thank you for the advice!
Don’t think like that, I think you’ll regret it later if you do enjoy Gacha, and just cause there are some weirdos doesn’t mean the app is bad and doesn’t mean you can’t find a space where normal people play it
Idk u do u I guess
I'm not really sure if I explained that right, but I think that a lot of the messed up things we saw in those glmms were made by people in the same age range as us.
im not saying this to minimize the impact of the weirdo adults in the community at the time--fuck them actually--but to say how much weird shit spread
this video was nice. i dont think i could handle an overview of the community by someone looking from the outside, thank you
W art and im so suprised you only have 18 subscribers
(edit: i subscirbed)
(edit: oh you only have 1 video)
W grammar everyone should "subscirbe" to you
Woweee I think ur cool (subscribes)
Fr tho the video isn’t as bad as you think it is. I enjoyed it, and I hope you are motivated to make more!! :3
i joined the gacha community when i was like 8, luckily ive never rlly watched these… topics
the only reason i left is bcuz my siblings used to make fun of me for liking gacha, tbh i sometimes just go on incognito mode and just watch a bunch of gacha vids lmao. anyways ur content is awesome, i am now very full :3
And this is why I warned my parents/tried to keep an eye on my siblings as they grew. Internet isn't friendly to anyone
i got hypersmexul because of some of the stuff in the community but the main problem with it is that most of the time there’s really gross stuff that isn’t talked about
I used to be a Gacha kid as well. I was exposed to some weird shit and it was kinda the root of some of my grosser phases. I'm actually SO glad I climbed out of that rabbit hole
Thankfully i was in the BURN THE HEAT side of the community :')
