There's a whole alternate movie where it played more into the super natural they did film an ending burning Michael and evil passes on to Laurie but it wouldn't be Halloween ends if that's the case.

It's gonna even show Allyson shooting Corey was in one of the trailers her screaming seeing him they showed two different versions this one we got was to leave more mystery keep asking questions tmfir us to think of what it all means what happens. But the other version was purely supernatural and also would have Included a scene with the mask factory from H3 making Michael Myers masks that was written but not filmed if it was it would have been like an end credit scene.
I don't think changing the ending going to save this movie. It's just so far out of left field. In 2018 they said it was going to be three movies, all contained in one night. Kills was great. It ends with Laurie saying "I wanna kill the mf'er and watch the light go out in his eyes" or something to that extent. Then Ends starts off, it's 4 years later and she's in an apron, playing Susie homemaker in the kitchen "Oh heavens to Betsy I've burned the pumpkin pie!" Corey was a lame character from the start. All in all, Ends was a disaster.
All in all i loved the movie. This movie gave laurie a meaningful and ending the ending I posted it just fun to look at knowing it’s not canon. I loved ends it was a new take on a franchise that has been reusing the same formula for over 40 years. I’ve been a fan of Halloween since I was born and this movie didn’t bother me ounce. People are blowing shit out of proportion.
Yea your takes pretty dead on. The logic wasn't there. In the first movies she all paranoid then he gets away after killing Laurie s daughter and Laurie just up and gets over it and her paranoia. Sure. And the corey addition was weak

The characters of Corey served no purpose at all in the film. If this movie wasn't terrible, it wouldn't have bombed critically and financially at the box office.
I feel like they should have made 3 completely different movies for ends alone to give fans options of which one concludes it better for them. I mean How unique would it be to have a trilogy Of the final filmwithin the trilogy itself
Yes! That’s what originally happened. This ending went though some pretty bad test screenings so they last minute reshot it. Recently we figured out that there was no procession scene in said ending it had a crematorium ending with Michaels body being burned. Another thing if you notice there is no Lindsay in the procession scene which is because Kyle Richards was not available to film the reshoots. Hopefully we can get this ending officially released! I think a lot of fans would be interested to see this outcome knowing it’s not canon!

Just the original ending with them sitting on the porch shows that she got the evil with her staring out all blankly with black eyes and Frank looking very concerned as she says "tell me more about those cherry blossoms" in a very blank way
Halloween Ends had great ideas. But it was executed poorly and was put in the completely wrong movie. And to me Halloween ends is the embodiment or disappointment.
It would've been more intense if michael did to Laurie what he redid in h20 from the original Halloween 1978 film.. which was stabb her in the left shoulder again..opening up that old wound and scar from the 78 movie, i mean they should've just added that as a nod back to 1978 since Laurie did redo that iconic sowing needle jab at michael almost identical similar to the way she stabbed michael with the needle on the neck back in the original Halloween 1978.. thats why i still like a little bit of the chase fight scenes from h20 where michael still chased Laurie and even though laurie in h20 was in full kick ass survival mode she still got stabbed in her same shoulder from the original Halloween 1978.. and in h20 opening shot when shes screaming from the nightmare of her reliving the closet scene from 78 movie.. u can still see on her shoulder that long terribly scar on her shoulder which does connect h2 1981 from the doctors and nurses telling her that there shall be some scars

My version of Halloween is way better Michael and Laurie fighting in the cemetery under the rain and Laurie taking off Michael mask just to finally say the line : your just a man in a stupid Halloween mask . Then Laurie proceeded to kill Michael with a holy Cross stabbing him 6 times in the eyes and by the end she will say the final words : happy Halloween Michael I'll see you in hell
Close but there was no junkyard funeral and Barker was not in the original cut at all In the original ending that was actually filmed, she cremates Michael’s body, Allyson shows up the next morning, they talk at the table, then Laurie begins strangling her (there’s a TV spot that shows Laurie throwing a glass before doing so). She lets go and yells at her to leave Haddonfield while she still has control. Laurie watches her drive off and then locks herself in her home (the shots from trailer 2 of Laurie “unlocking” her door are played in reverse). The end. Hawkins doesn’t show up to see her either.
