Each of famous vendors have different tastes that you can say they are unique cause they're all well researched and adopted to current treding flavor in decades of their lives.

Hi Max, in Vietnam you can ask for more "nước lèo" / "nước dùng" when you feel your bowl is dryer ( cạn nước dùng). Don't be shy. Will occur no fee when you ask for it. Love your food tour ^^
So one of things I love about your channel is the honesty amongst many other things. I was turned off from the first noodle lady. Anyone taking noodles out a noodle package and boiling it is not for me. Also she had a glove on the hand she used fir the knife but no glove on the hand she was touching the meat with. It looked pretty good but opening a noodle package he’ll go to 7-11 and do that. The second place looked great I’m not much of organs and blood stuff but it doesn’t mean I won’t each time it and I do appreciate it. Food makes the world go around even stuff you don’t care for. I just love the way you tell it like it is that’s important. Have a great day or evening I’m not sure what time it is there so I’ll cover both bases.

I’m sure they use msg to make food flavorful but it’s not poison that kills you or makes you sick right away. The locals have been enjoying these food stalls and still living just fine. And what makes you think 5 star restaurants don’t use whatever the hell “chemicals” you think these street vendors use? Lol shit, American foods are full of preservatives and gmo we get sick and still eat the damn fast food lol. Have a balanced diet you’ll be fine✌️

Max, I am convinced you were vietnamese in your previous life. I’m a little bias, but vietnamese food is the most flavorful in the world. Vietnamese food is all about the right mix of flavors and textures. Presentation is secondary. Everything else is secondary.

Đó là bộ trứng non còn nằm trong bụng con gà nên phải luộc chín , theo tôi thì những món ăn nước bạn hãy cho thêm một thìa dấm ngâm tỏi ớt vào sẽ dậy mùi hơn nhiều, rồi thêm chanh nếu bạn thích.
Bánh đa is from Hai Phong. When you have time, you should to go to Hai Phong, in there you can find the original tase of banh da. By the way, you can find some really delicious water noodles, and more good food. I think Hai Phong is one of paradise of street food.
The first time I had bun canh I was so surprised that changing the noodles and veggies of bun rieu makes it bun canh but it’s still so different. I love sate(chilli oil). I want to meet you and fight over the chilli oil with you haha (friendly ofc). I find it funny that these Vietnamese lady’s wear gloves on the hand that doesn’t touch the food and use their bare hands on the food. Idc just funny I love that you actually try the soups before adding your sauces. Other youtubers change the broth before trying it then complain when they wrecked it themselves..
About the glove part, I'm also confused. I think she started with the right intention of using the gloves to pick the food up, but then the place got crowded and orders start to build up and they got confused and use the wrong hand for the wrong thing. xD
If you like "bánh rán ngọt" (sweet rice ball doughnut), you can try "bánh rán mật" (molasses rice ball doughnut) at 52 Hàng Chiếu, near Đồng Xuân Market. "Bánh rán mật" is one of my favorite snacks and quite famous in Hanoi. :) If you are a fan of sticky rice, should try "xôi khúc". If you love "chả", you can buy them in markets or some store selling "chả". Ah, try "chả rươi" if you can.

Bánh đa is from Hai Phong. When you have time, you should to go to Hai Phong, in there you can find the original tase of banh da. By the way, you can find some really delicious water noodles, and more good food. I think Hai Phong is one of paradise of street food.

The first time I had bun canh I was so surprised that changing the noodles and veggies of bun rieu makes it bun canh but it’s still so different. I love sate(chilli oil). I want to meet you and fight over the chilli oil with you haha (friendly ofc).
I find it funny that these Vietnamese lady’s wear gloves on the hand that doesn’t touch the food and use their bare hands on the food. Idc just funny
I love that you actually try the soups before adding your sauces. Other youtubers change the broth before trying it then complain when they wrecked it themselves..
About the glove part, I'm also confused. I think she started with the right intention of using the gloves to pick the food up, but then the place got crowded and orders start to build up and they got confused and use the wrong hand for the wrong thing. xD
If you like "bánh rán ngọt" (sweet rice ball doughnut), you can try "bánh rán mật" (molasses rice ball doughnut) at 52 Hàng Chiếu, near Đồng Xuân Market. "Bánh rán mật" is one of my favorite snacks and quite famous in Hanoi. :)
If you are a fan of sticky rice, should try "xôi khúc".
If you love "chả", you can buy them in markets or some store selling "chả". Ah, try "chả rươi" if you can.
