Thank you for digging up this performance. There is so much one could say but I think the fact I can sit here on a random Friday morning in the middle of a work day, goose-bumping and bawling in response, says it all.
Thanks for the breakdown. It would be great to hear you breakdown some prime Whitney vocals. Please check out her performance of One Moment In Time live at The Grammys
@@forgetfulme1719Wrong. She was exhausted. Cocaine does not damage vocal cords, though it can damage overall health. That woman was worked like a mule for 30 years, singing live at levels your favorite singer could never manage. That isn’t even to mention the dancing, acting, and business end of things. Stop hating just to hate.
@@deshaunx776 cocaine drip does damage the vocal cord, ask the specialists. I admire her singing prowess, better than Mariah's, and deeply saddened seeing her condition. She married/addicted to the wrong spouse
"I Will Always Love You" is by far one of the all-time songs I absolutely detest. The incessant, high pitch, repetitive "and I-ah-I will always love you-oo-oo" over and over and over is annoying and grates on my nerves.
Did you come here just to say that? Did you expect people to agree with or co-sign your pointless, angry, deranged opinion? Did you just want attention? Dolly Parton isn’t losing any money over your opinion and Whitney Houston is dead. I’m just trying to figure out your motivation for bringing negativity and hatred to a reaction video for a widely beloved song by a deceased internationally revered music legend… What’s your point?
@@deshaunx776 I did come to this particular post just to say that. I didn't expect anything other than to express my personal opinion. You may think my opinion is pointless, but I was not angry when I posted it. I said that a specific part of the song annoyed me and grated on my nerves from a musical perspective. As for whether my opinion is deranged, you are welcome to your viewpoint. Whether Dolly Parton loses money or makes money didn't factor into my decision to express my opinion. Yes, Whitney Houston is dead. What's your point? My motivation was to express my opinion about a particular part of the song. I'm sure people who love the song view my dislike of the song in a negative light. I didn't express any hatred in my reaction. I expressed my dislike for a particular passage of music. Just as I don't like the sound of heavy metal music, or the forms and shapes of particular artwork, or the taste of certain foods, my dislike of the particular passage of music doesn't signify hatred. It's called personal preference. My dislike was directed at a singular passage in the song, which I specified. I said nothing about the song, as a whole. In fact, I do like the other parts of the song. My comment had absolutely nothing to do with Whitney Houston. It doesn't matter who sings the particular passage of music...legend or not: I don't personally like the sound of the passage or the effect it has on me. What's my point? See above.

@forgetfulme1719 Yeah, it's a tragic story, the greatest singer of all time yet so broken
@@romanarts6645 good acting too, more famous more accessible to drugs, her foundation of happiness was on shifting sand, AI Houston new songs coming?
