@@mickstick5112 not sure shred is Rob's cup of tea either, judging by how out of tune and sloppy he always sounds when he's playing over Lee's talking parts.
I love that Pete always looks like he is having the time of his life! It doesn’t matter if he is soloing or if someone else it…he just loves all things guitar and enjoys every second of it!
That was a really great intro. The Sabbath style riffage really worked well with these new guitars. I really do like these odd times where we see the heavy side of Lee and Pete. I always did like the look of the old 70's Tele delux. The outro was pretty cool as well, it seemed very Peter Green inspired.
Been a while since I tuned in and y’all never disappoint. Pete’s sneaky lil she said joke at the beginning got me a little better than I care to admit.
Love the grind at the start LOL. Squier's killing it at the moment. These sparkly numbers would be very good in a 70's glam revival band, the 'mother of vanity unit ' pick guard is a bonus ...very nice!!
That intro jam's ending was off the hook! The Captain's playing keeps getting better and better. Danish Pete is always on fire. As usual, a great demo. Cheers from Ewing, NJ, USA
The funk jam starting at 9:08 reminds me of The Meters. I love old school funk and that was very funky, in a great way! I love the tones as well. I'm definitely leaning toward the purple, for sure. It's one of my favorite of the 50 shades of purple and I surely want to spank it!
I never did like the black scratch plates on most of the 70s Teles (and I have a P90 one), so I'm very glad they've released these white editions. I'm now obsessed with the Sea Foam Sparkle model, and think one might show up at my house soon-ish (a shame Anderton's are out of stock... alas!) Love that Wide Range spank. LOVE IT.
Pete please PLEASE get the seafoam one. I know, it's not purple, but not everything has to be, and it fits you so well... also I like it a lot and I'd like to get one but I can't so, if you buy it I can keep seeing it in videos at least. Also, maybe it's Classic Vibe relic time again?
Beautiful - If i were a full time professional artist (or even as a trying-to-be artist as I am know to be honest) I would be thrilled if Squier signed me as a featured artist - their Classic Vibe range is just amazing! Gimme that green Tele! And the black 60s Gilmour looking Strat to go with my 60s CV Jazzmaster! Ok throw in a Starcaster too 🤷🏼♂️
It might sound a bit daft, but I love the neck on the purple job and the green body on Pete's guitar. Pity I'm not in the UK at the present time or I'd bloody well order one!
I did it! Looking forward to getting it. Will probably make some videos soon(ish) showing sound comparison by upgrading capacitors and maybe even throwing some Creamery pups in it.
@@andertons True story. Shortly after I bought it today, I spoke with a family member (he's a long time Anderton customer) and I told him I'd bought it. It turns out he'd bought/ordered the single coil version already and is waiting for the next batch to come in (he thinks early Dec)
I've mentioned this before but I'd love for Lee to do a lesson into his Clapton'esque vibrato technique!! Please do it Cap! Oh and these things are just stupidly good looking, what a steal, honestly! Seriously tempted. I remember your relic vid - can't believe it's that long ago! I don't like thick gloopy finishes on necks but if anybody is reading this I have a Baja Tele and that had a quite thick finish and some sandpaper and a bit of elbow grease made it lovely and satin in no time.. maybe these Squire's are a different story but I can't imagine it being very hard to just take the edge off them.
Maybe if enough people complain they will decide to release a black one, or if they are feeling especially benevolent, a sunburst one for your lefties.
I'm so lucky I picked up 1 of each of these beautiful guitars...only 250 made of each, that is insane! One the fence about selling them, but that is a crazy limited run of them! They've been case queens after checking their condition and functionality, kind of sad.
There's only one Squier I'm really waiting for: the Squier XII. I don't understand what's taking them so long, it's like the Bass VI it needs to be remade for an affordable price!
That intro jam was awsome!
"That's what she said"
Black sabbath

They always are awesome.
That intro was sick, AIC vibes.
Tabs? just a suggestion
I can't get over how the intro jams and videos as a whole improved since Pete took Rob's place. It's a pleasure to watch you having fun guys!
Pete has fun playing. Rob shows off.
@@jgenoese I think it's more the fact that Pete's style is more the way Lee strives for. Shred is not his cup of tea.
@@mickstick5112 not sure shred is Rob's cup of tea either, judging by how out of tune and sloppy he always sounds when he's playing over Lee's talking parts.
Less ego!!!!
Chap to Pete is like upgrading from a Squier Bullet to an American Elite.
I think the Captain has found his telecaster. He channeled something else there
Agreed!

The look on Pete’s face when Cap played the best blues riff ever was priceless, also some of the best jams of any Anderson’s video

Lee's playing in the final jam is beautifully melodic
It seems those lessons from Justin really opened up his playing.
There's a purple tele and Pete isn't playing it?!!!
We like to change things up sometimes... 😉
I mean ... he should be so sick of playing purple gear now :D.
He said he’s keeping it 😂
It's more of a mauve, really
@@andertons don't change just evolve. Have you ever thought about adding tabs so us minions can jam along with you.
The greatest sales men ever and also great guitar players.
That intro jam was absolutely mirrored aviators level cool. 😎
Wow, that intro....! Makes me wanna buy this guitar instantly. It sums up everything I like about guitar music.
Just bought one. Could not resist that purple. Great playing boys
Great playing from the Captain in the intro!
Pete going all Hawkwind at the end of the intro jam!
I think these look and sound awesome! Fender can do whatever they want with the Squier brand and people won't freak out.
I was blindsided by that intro jam. Was not prepared to have my face melted tonight.
Best intro ever by you guys! Gimme that coffee!
purple sabbath intro
To me it sounded more like Some Cantrell/Alice in Chains stuff.

this is my favorite intro jam. thank you pete & captain! 💪🏼
It felt like you fella's have gone 70's in more ways than just the guitars for this vid.
Again Fender is amazing in 2020. Also Lee and Pete's guitar rigs at the end of this video are awesome.

I love the sound these things make...
PURE 70's funk in the middle position.

*THOSE INTRO AND OUTRO JAMS* and the she said joke are the jems...love it.✌️
Purple! Looks amazing!!
Both the Captain and Pete have been practicing. Nice job!
I was just thinking Cadbury's purple when Lee started talking about flakes :)
Bravo, gents! Outstanding intro jam.
Diggin the purple
That intro was metal af \m/
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for tuning in. 🤘

What an awesome intro. Wow!
you should get newbies to test the guitars too. capt and pete makes anything sound good! =)
Holy shit, I think I need this guitar now
Pete channeling some Mike Einziger during that intro jam. Pistola
The closing jam put me in mind of Link Wray. Very nice.
