I just bought this light. It is awesome. I am especially impressed with the forethought to make recharging the battery so easy. It is a very bright and yet small light, so the battery by default will need to be recharged often. Welcome to physics and the real world. I have the Big Daddy flashlight too. They are all excellent flashlights. It would be cool if you guys at Nebo invented a wall charger for spare flashlight batteries and had some plastic cases for charged spare batteries to carry in a pocket, backpack, etc. It would be nice to extend that idea to the 6k flashlight too. That is the next purchase that I will make. Overall, Nebo has amazing products.

I’m an industrial maintenance technician and my torchy is one of the greatest tools in my arsenal. The Nebo SLIM+ is my other edc that I that I rely on in a plethora of situations that I can’t afford to have a light fail. One of my favorite features is the magnetic base. I can stick this lil guy inside an electrical panel while troubleshooting and have both hands free to do the job safely. Brighter than the other guys lights and a quarter the size. My Nebo torchy rocks!!!
If you want to buy this small light do it, no regrets at all I just got one is amazingly small and is impresively bright, it deserve every dollar I pay for it is exactly what I was looking for, could'nt be better
I bought this light as an EDC flashlight. I carried it in the small watch pocket of my jeans. One day as I was sitting I felt a burning sensation on my hip. The light was on turbo mode in my pocket. It was so hot I immediately took the battery out to cool down. It's a good light, but the location & style of that power button is very inconvenient for everyday carry in my opinion.

It's idea for my bicycle touring stuff I do because it doesn't weigh much, and doesn't take up much space, so the Torchy will be supplementing the Nebo Tino I use for touring as my main light if I need to see in the distance walking around a campsite while the Tino is best for inside the tent. This is now my 4th Nebo light, I also have a Redline Blast which is my home use light, and a Micro Redline that's in one of my cars. I've had other brands of lights, but for some reason they don't last like they used to, the first Nebo I bought has outlasted other recent brands, so I'm trying a few other Nebo models, and so far, I like them a lot.

Is there a lockout mode? I also have a few questions because the data posted on the website doesn't make much sense. The strobe mode and high mode are both rated at 500 lumens and both list the run time as 1 hour. The strobe should last around twice as long as high mode so does high mode only go for 30 minutes or does strobe go for 2 hours? Also the turbo mode is just listed as 30 seconds it doesn't give any additional run times. How long will turbo last before the batteries dead? 30 minutes in 30 second increments? Also just feedback. I'd like to see Nebo provide a longer warranty time. It seems the switches have the tendency to go bad on Nebo lights based on reviews I've seen across multiple Nebo lights and my own experience. Though taking the switch apart and sanding it down tends to fix things I'm unsure how easy that'll be for a light like this. Many other lights that are around this size come with 3-5 year warranties. Or at least offer repairs without charging for labor.
I bought one and loved it so I bought my dad one too. Shortly after a year his started having issues with the power button. Six months later and mine has an issue with charging. The magnetic charger has quit. Be aware that on these magnetic charge lights they use a proprietary battery so I was not able to buy an standalone charger. I would recommend going with models that use standard batteries and standard charging plugs.
It seems that the tail cap is the problem. After rubber banding the magnetic charger directly to the bottom battery end it charged the battery and the light works.
What are the temperatures of these lights in HIGH mode? How many NEBO devices suffer from parasitic battery drain? If this LED light is turned ON...will melt or burn holes in a backpack or tent?
NEBO yes many customers now look on RUclips for these reviews and tests. If you showed reviews first hand there would be no need to look and compare to other lights or brands if we see your products meets are need beforehand
I just received mine “new” from Amazon. There was no plastic disk covering the battery connector to prevent battery use. It’s works fine, but should I return it? Maybe it’s used?
No, they come that way sometimes depending on the seller, I bought mine from a Trane supply house and it was sealed with no plastic disk, neither was my buddy's.
Bought two kubs and neither one of them would charge up at all. Just sat there all day with the red low battery/charging indicator on. Charging for 4 hours never changed that. I wont be buying magnetic charging flashlights again
Magnetic charging isn't that secure as it is too easy to pull off when charging. It's not that good as it should be more secure! Brightness is good but not as bright as Olight S1r baton 2 flashlight at 1000 Lumens. Power button feels cheap. For the price it's good but not high quality. I'm going to test this when I'm camping and I know it will do well. At 22 price it's nice to use as a back up light!

Agreed had this flashlight for a few months it was great while it lasted then it would not charge very disappointing great little flash light while it lasted especially when your in the maintenance field
These flashlights are hot garbage they won’t charge and 1 has shocked my supervisor lol 1 fell 3 feet and stopped working all together. I’ve bought 5 total for various people in our building they’ve ALL FAILED after 1 month in someway mostly charging.

Turn the pocket clip around until it covers the power button, problem solved.

I recommend olight flashlights. They have brighter and longer battery run time.
indeed, but costing at least twice or even more. i own 2 olights, very good, very expansive. i would not use those in dirty working conditions.

Not one purposely designed but you can rotate the pocket clip around until it covers the power button.
