  • In this video we share Our Lord's Message to Maria Valtorta on the Shroud of Turin.
In the tenth volume of the private discoveries of the famous Italian mystic Maria Valtorta on February 22, 1942, the following words of the Lord Jesus are written:
“Veronica’s scarf is a boost for your skeptical souls.
You cold rationalists, who are hesitant in your faith to conduct heartless research, compare the reflection of the face on that joke, with the reflection on the Turin Canvas.
The first is the face of the living, the second is the face of the dead.
However, length, width, somatic features, shape, characteristics are the same.
Place these two reflections on top of each other.
You will see that they match each other.
    It's me.
I want to remind you who I was and who I became out of love for you.
In order not to get lost, not to become blind, these two thoughts should be enough for you to lead you to love, conversion, God. “
Indeed, scientific research prompted by this publication has shown that both faces; the one on the Turin Canvas and the one in Manoppell; correspond 100 percent to each other in structure and dimensions.
This correspondence is so unique that we have to talk about mathematical proof.
It is the same Person, the true God and the true man Jesus Christ, who died and rose for our salvation.
Before being placed in the tomb, Jesus ’body was wrapped in linen cloth 436 cm long and 110 cm wide.
The Shroud of Turin is the most famous Christian relic, astonishing the world of science with a "photographic film" of Christ's passion, death and resurrection.
Scientific studies state that the reflection on the Shroud was due to the presence of a real crucified body.
He left a reflection in the photographic negative on the fabric.
There are also blood stains that carry the AB blood type, men, just like all other Eucharistic miracles around the world that have been scientifically studied.
Long-term research of the Turin Shroud, conducted by scientists from various fields of knowledge, showed that it bears the figure of a man aged 30 to 35, 178 cm tall and weighing 79 kg, who had a beard and long hair, strong and proportionate body composition and beautiful Semitic facial features.
This man was subjected to terrible tortures of whipping, crowned with thorns and crucifixes.
As many as 600 wounds and various injuries can be seen all over the body that is outlined on the canvas.
Scientists from NASA's Space Research Institute said: "For us scientists, the possibility of falsifying the Turin Shroud would be a greater miracle than Christ's resurrection, which would mean that all 20th-century science could not do what the 15th-century forger allegedly did, which is funny".
U S Aviation Academy physicists J Jackson and E Jumper have discovered that the reflection on the Shroud is three-dimensional and transparent yellow.
There are no pigments, colors or the presence of any colors.
So how is the image created?
Scientists point to a mysterious radiance, a flash of energy that made the canvas yellow only in its outer part.
The reflection on the Turin canvas is indelible, nothing can erase it.
    The picture is perfectly flat.
It is not deformed at all and, according to the laws of optics, is a parallel projection.
In December 2011, scientists from the Italian national agency E N E A of the Center for Nuclear Research in Frascati near Rome, after five years of intensive research and attempts to recreate the image that appears on the Turin Canvas, found that modern science is unable to do so.
These researchers calculated that the mysterious flash of energy that created the image on the canvas would have to be 34 trillion watts of vacuum ultraviolet radiation.
Currently, there are no devices in the world that could generate radiation of such power.
So far, only devices that can generate radiation with a power of several billion vacuum U V radiation have been constructed.
All indications are that this flash of energy occurred at the time of Jesus ’resurrection and made the image of the whole body reflected on the canvas.
Forensic experts researching the Shroud of Turin found that Jesus' body was wrapped in cloth about two and a half hours after his death and remained in it for up to 36 hours.
The blood clots in the Shroud are intact, so Jesus' body was not torn from the cloth, but soared through it.
When the apostle John entered the tomb of Jesus and saw the rags intact, with unbuttoned ribbons but without the body, it was for him an obvious sign of the resurrection because that cloth was so tightly bound that man himself could not take it off.

Martin Luther, an EX CATHOLIC wanted to reform the Catholic church but took it too far. He began the great division in the church in the 16th century .He believed he was inspired by God and that no one could criticize his ideas. He was a narcissist...he said " In a 1000 years no bishop has been bestowed with such gifts as God has bestowed upon me". He said he is certain that he has received his dogmas from heaven …..he said " I am the prophet of the Germans ". But the fact is he followed the teachings of Henry of Ockham.
He started translating the bible from Greek without having any knowledge of Greek .He translated the " man is justified by faith " into " man is justified by faith alone " he added the word " alone " by himself .When someone criticized him for that he replied " Doctor Martin Luther translates it that way and that's how I want it."....over 1400 errors were found in his translation .He excluded certain books from the bible by his own authority …..he said the epistle of James is nothing more than straw because it does not present any evangelical character. Regarding the book of revelation he said that he does not find anything apostolic or prophetic in this book. He commissioned rude paintings of the pope of that time and got it published ( is that the conduct of a holy man ….a man inspired by God ?). When he blessed people he would say "
May the Lord fill you with his blessing and hatred for the pope.
      ( Is that a blessing ? Or a curse?)
On marriage he said that marriage is mandatory ….that woman was not created to be a wife but to beget children they only serve for marriage or prostitution. He said he hates divorce so much that he prefers bigamy. He allowed prince Phillip to have 2 wives and justified it based on the bible and when people found out he lied and said that one was his concubine and not his wife.
He loved the virgin Mary and said she was the tender mother of God ….in his dining room He had the crucifix and and image of Mary holding the infant Jesus .He accepted baptism and the real presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist. He later said that Lutheranism was no better than catholicism
Apologist Jimmy Akin shows how the Bible cannot exist apart from the Church. In its origins and its formulation, in the truths it contains, in its careful preservation over the centuries and in the prayerful study and elucidation of its mysteries, Scripture is inseparable from Catholicism.
( JImmy Akin is a former protestant) …..obviously he saw the truth …..that the Catholic church is the one true catholic and apostolic church founded by Jesus Christ Himself.

There is a long list, which I won't get in to now, but you make the mistake of thinking that there was no effect. Trouble is you won't see what the world would have been like until Christianity is gone and then you'll know, but it will be too late. That day is coming, the bible predicts that in revelation. As for me and my death bed. let's face it, even if I were wrong I'd only be in the same position you are now, with no hope, and no answers except what is handed to me. Voltorta’s commentary is preemptive. The face on the Shroud was well aware that there would be doubters. He had them among his own followers. He left a message, one that would repeatedly frustrate scientific attempts to prove it was counterfeit. He was providing a road map for those easily led astray by things like Carbon 14. Real science will always snap back to the original story…because it is the truth.

No examples of complex herringbone weave are known from the time of Jesus when, in any case, burial cloths tended to be of plain weave. In addition, Jewish burial practice utilised - and the Gospel of John specifically describes for Jesus - multiple burial wrappings wrapped tightly around the body with a separate cloth over the face:
“Then came Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and saw the linen clothes lying, and the napkin that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself…” ~ John 20:6

Herringbone weave is a weaving pattern of the bones of a herring fish. a pattern that was done in Egypt and Syria in ancient times. also bible states Joseph bought fine linen. expensive. not a plain cheap weave but expensive.
shroud is a fine expensive linen. also bible does not say Jesus was wrapped like a mummy. John referred to the shroud as 'linen clothes". that is exactly what the shroud served as. the linen grave clothes of Jesus. the 2nd cloth, the head cloth is called the.sudarium is kept in Oviedo Spain.
Joseph most likely purchased the shroud from a vendor from Syria or Egypt selling his goods outside the Damascus gate after he got permission to take the body of Jesus.
Damascus gate is the main exit and entry point into Jerusalem. would be best place for a seller of fine linen to get max exposure to sell his goods.for the Passover... enter Joseph of Arimathea...

They used a corpse for the body and their own head for the face. Signs if this is that the back image doesn’t match the front. The legs are bent on the back but not the front. The flow of blood from the wrists does not fit a body lying down. The mirror image has foreshortening of the body. Some of the pigment used to similate blood splatters contain lead which is a metal alloy that was not invented before the medieval era. As for GUESSING the age, no one should be guessing Christ age when according to the law Christ had to fulfill all.
There are many statements that prove his age otherwise. 1. Not yet 50, the scribes would know his age as all 1st born males were required to be recorded and counted, recorded and kept in the temple. 2. Since he is begotten this indicates his birth would have been on the the 1st day of the first month of the year, meaning Tishri 1. 3. He also would have to fulfill the law of Jubilee, which returns him to to the father, taking his rightful place on the throne, this is also pointing out that Christ would have been at least 49 years old according to the law and can be redeemed anytime in the 50th year.

    • @Inspired2Teach
      @Inspired2Teach 2 года назад +2

Yes, the limit was 40 lashes. The Romans actually had a practice of giving only 39 lest they make a mistake in the count. However, each lash was fully capable of delivered lots and lots of wounds. The whips had numerous strands of leather to which were attached lots of flesh tearing things. The crown of thorns delivered many more wounds. It probably covered his entire scalp and was pressed very hard onto Him and also struck with a stick that impaled its thorns even more into His head.
Christ suffered numerous wounds before the lashing and before receiving the crown on thorns. The Roman guards were not very reluctant to strike their charges. The guards also continued to beat Him and lash Him all the way to Golgotha. Being "professionals" and quite experienced in crucifixion, they knew what they were doing. Even so, they hurt Jesus so much that they had to conscript Simon of Cyrene to help him complete His journey. So, there was plenty of opportunity for Him to have received over 5K wounds. This is also a testament to the miracle. No normal person could have taken that beating and made it all the way up the hill.

Getting more than 40 lashes would account for why Jesus died so quickly on the cross. Crucifixion was normally a very slow form of death, people could survive for more than a day. The scripture talks about how he was to weak to carry the crossbar(Carrying the entire cross is historically inaccurate, the condemned would only carry the cross bar to a place where permanent vertical poles were installed.) and a man from the crowd had to carry the crossbar for Jesus. If the scriptures are right and Jesus died after only 6 hours and they do say the Romans were very surprised he had died so quickly which is why they stabbed him in the side with a spear it does point to the fact that they nearly beat him to death with flagrums before he was crucified.

I am a graduate and scholar from the University of Oxford United Kingdom, ranking # 1 in the world as we stand, and I have a masters degree, and Professor in Theology, Divinity & Religious Studies for over 30 years, I understand the original Hebrew, also to include a scholarship in the Traditional Greek( KOINE) language in which Paul spoke and understood. Oxford is one of the oldest Universities that date back to the year 1096 after Christ.
The Shroud of Turin is not mentioned in the Bible. It is a linen sheet thought by many to be the burial cloth of Jesus Christ. As a result of this belief, the shroud is considered by some to be one of Christendom’s most sacred relics. A cathedral in Turin, Italy, now houses the shroud in a high-tech protective casing.
Do Bible accounts support the idea that the Shroud of Turin is genuine? No.
Consider three aspects of the shroud that differ from what the Bible says.
      1. The shroud is a single cloth measuring 442 by 113 centimeters (14 ft 6 in. by 3 ft 8 in.) plus an 8-centimeter (3 in.) strip sewed lengthwise.
What the Bible says: Jesus’ dead body was wrapped, not in one piece of linen, but in multiple strips of cloth. His head was wrapped in a separate cloth. After Jesus was resurrected, one of his apostles came to the empty tomb and “saw the linen cloths lying there.” The Bible adds: “The cloth that had been on his head was not lying with the other cloth bands but was rolled up in a place by itself.”-John 20:6, 7.
      2. The shroud contains markings presumed to be bloodstains from an unwashed corpse.
What the Bible says: When Jesus died, his disciples prepared his body “according to the burial custom of the Jews.” (John 19:39-42) This custom included washing the corpse and applying oils and spices to it before burial. (Matthew 26:12; Acts 9:37) Therefore, Jesus’ disciples would have washed his body before wrapping it in cloths.
      3. The shroud bears the image of a man “laid lengthwise along one half of the shroud while the other half had been doubled over the head to cover the whole front of the body,” according to the Encyclopædia Britannica.
What the Bible says: Jesus’ disciples discussed his death, his empty tomb, and the eyewitness testimony of women who saw “a supernatural sight of angels, who said he is alive.” (Luke 24:15-24) If the shroud had been in Jesus’ tomb, his disciples would no doubt have discussed it and the images on it. However, the Bible says nothing about such a discussion.
      Should the shroud be venerated?
No. Even if it were authentic, venerating it would still be wrong. Consider Bible principles that explain why.
      1. It is unnecessary. Jesus explained: “God is a Spirit, and those worshipping him must worship with spirit and truth.” (John 4:24) True worship does not involve the use of religious relics or icons.
      2. It is forbidden. The Ten Commandments forbid idolatry. (Deuteronomy 5:6-10) Likewise, the Bible commands Christians: “Guard yourselves from idols.” (1 John 5:21) Some might argue that for them the shroud is not an idol but an icon, or symbol, of their religious faith. However, an icon becomes an idol to the person who venerates it. Therefore, a person who wants to please God will not show devotion or reverence to any object, including the shroud.
      Scientific analysis of the shroud
Since the late 19th century, researchers have tried to use scientific methods to test the authenticity of the shroud. Some of these tests have proven inconclusive. However, in 1988, the Vatican submitted small samples taken from the shroud to three laboratories in different countries. After the laboratories subjected the samples to radiocarbon dating, each one concluded that the shroud was from the 13th or 14th century.

@@torontocitizen6802 The professed Christian writers of the third and fourth centuries, many of whom wrote about a host of so-called miracles in connection with numerous relics, do not mention the existence of a shroud containing the image of Jesus. Some claim that the shroud had been hidden during all these years. Still, even after the supposed burial shroud of Jesus had been “discovered,” according to seventh-century writers, there is no mention of an image on it. Shroud advocate P. A. Beecher lists a considerable number of individuals who saw the shroud between the seventh and thirteenth centuries, one who even “kissed it,” and yet not one mentioned the image. This is hard to understand, since 15th- and 16th-century viewers, according to Jesuit scholar Herbert Thurston, “describe the impressions on the shroud as so vivid in detail and colouring that they might have been quite freshly made.”
It was not until 1205 that a French soldier, Robert de Clari, reported seeing “the sindon [shroud] in which our Lord was enveloped . . . stretched upright, so that one could easily see the figure of our Savior.” Concerning this long period of silence, Ian Wilson, a backer of the shroud, asks some very searching questions:
“How could such a fascinating piece of cloth as the Shroud of Turin, if genuine, have gone totally unrecorded over thirteen centuries, suddenly to turn up in fourteenth-century France?
“Could it have been hidden away all the time, due to Jewish and Roman persecution of Christians, followed by the danger to all image-bearing objects during the period of the iconoclastic controversy (725-842)? This was most unlikely.
“There were four hundred years from the conversion of Constantine the Great to the onset of iconoclasm, during which many previously ‘hidden’ relics came to light, including the entire True Cross, the crown of thorns, the nails, the purple cloak, the reed, the stone of the sepulcher, and many others. There was ample opportunity for such an important and unmistakable relic as the Turin Shroud to come to light. Yet there was no record of any such event.”
One cannot but wonder, in view of the significance of this relic, why it took almost 1,200 years before mention was made of the image on it.
      Scientific and Historical Problems
Many theories have come and gone as to how the image was formed. Most scientists agree that the latest findings have shown that the whole image was produced from the same cause, perhaps from some process that “scorched” it.
This scientific conclusion presents some problems, for it indicates that the impression on the shroud should be basically one color, simply varying in intensity. Yet 16th-century viewers indicated that it was made up of two different colors. Not only did artistic reproductions of the time show it multicolored, but one observer, Chifflet, said:
“The figure of Turin shows hardly anything but dark crimson stains, . . . the marks of the wounds seem to be painted in over the impression of the body, which is in a thin pale yellow.”
One could wonder if today’s shroud is the same as the one displayed back in the 14th century and labeled a fraud by the then Roman Catholic bishop Henry de Troyes (France) and said to have been “cunningly painted.” Joseph Hanlon, writing in New Scientist, raises an interesting possibility:
“But could there have been a double fake, one in the 14th century and another in the last century? The shroud was widely shown in the 15th and 16th centuries, but not later. Could it be that the first fraud became too obvious? . . . Might the shroud’s owners have done a better job in that time, using modern technology and medical knowledge, including tests such as Barbet’s, and using ancient linen from the middle east? Might a statue have been created solely for this purpose, heated to give an impression on the cloth, and then destroyed? . . . Nevertheless, there have been a number of sophisticated Victorian archaeological frauds, so we cannot ignore this possibility.”
Others have suggested the use of a mixture of myrrh and aloes rubbed over a bas-relief (a picture with three-dimensional features) to produce a similar image. However, Adam Otterbein, president of the Holy Shroud Guild, concluded: “How the image was formed may be a mystery to the end of time. . . . It’s doubtful whether science will ever be able to prove how this was done.”

This Turin shroud was a ’holy relic’ created by Leonardo da Vinci to replace a fake ’death shroud’ that had been worshipped there for years but was destroyed in a fire. The deceit that it is the same ’relic’ which was miraculously saved from the fire are refuted by Descriptions of the first that differ enormously. Medieval pilgrims had no way to compare. We today do have a way.
This shroud is an extremely clever replacement. It is the first example of a primitive form of what we now call photography. The proportions of the body don’t match the head. The face used was Leanardo’s own. But don’t take my word for it. Do your own research. Or not. Ignorance is a choice. 🙂

the linen fibrils of the Shroud have severe electromagnetic radiation damage equal to that of the linen wrappings of the Dead Sea scrolls that we know are over 2,000 years old.
the Shroud must be roughly the same age. there is no way it comes from a medieval time.

the Shroud of Turin is the Gospel of Jesus written in his own blood. the Shroud is the sign of Jonah that Jesus promised this wicked generation. a warning sign of repentance before the destruction of the Earth.
the forensic evidence on the cloth tells a 3-day story. about the crucifixion death and resurrection of Jesus.
the Shroud is the witness of God. as written in one John 5 through 9. the testimony of God is greater than the testimony of men. the Shroud is God's witness concerning his son.

Seeing how John 20:7 clearly states that Jesus' burial clothing was in pieces, with specific mention of a separate cloth for the head, this cannot be the burial shroud of Jesus. The verse refers to "pieces" or "cloths" all plural.
