    Thank you for making this video! My grandma is partially deaf and has been wanting to learn sign for ages. I'm seeing her this weekend so I can teach her these signs! I also recently found out that my own hearing difficulties will only get worse from here on out, so sign seems like a valuable skill for me to have and to teach others :)

    That last one. nailed it! So many people have trouble with it. But if you're going to be accepted on Vulcan, you must practice :)

    Thanks for these. I'm trying to learn with my 4 year old son, as I think it will be a great skill for him as he grows up, and its so much easier having a vid to learn from. 😊

    Thank you so much these videos have helped me to understand sign and learn such a beautiful language. I also have a friend called joe who was born deaf and now we just talk in sign although I can only finger spell. 😂

    Could you do videos talking about anything, but where you sign and speak at the same time? I know a lot of signs, but am trying to become more fluent in understanding and connecting signs to words, and I think that would really help

    Oh my god, I didn't know you made this video once! I've been watching your videos for a while and I just wanted to look up some words in other sign languages than GSL (DGS) and there is your video! What a surprise

    Im doing an online accredited course in Level 1 and 2 in BSL and so many of these signs are completely different to what I am learning! How do I know if what I am learning is wrong or just a different version? Xx

    Im hearing impairment, i just watched one video of yours . you said that you SSe . I’m wondering where can I learn from that. I brought up with hearing family. My parents are hearing. I’m only deaf child in my family . I do lip reading, I don’t do bsl and i don’t provide an interpreter at school.
    Some of my Friends are hearing and fully deaf so they do bsl to communicate. I find that hard to communicate with bsl. In my famil does not use bsl ! I really want to learn how to do sse ! Which one is easy for me. You said that sse is easier so I rather do sse.
    I’ve got passion to do bsl .
    I might hire an interpreter for myself to help me more . It could be useful for me.

      Try learning both. Maybe start with BSL, which I imagine is more popular in Britain.

    Does it change the meaning if I do the mirror image?

    • @jellybean9382
      @jellybean9382 6 лет назад +6

      Dee Delee no, I do it that way because I’m left handed, but it doesn’t matter as long as the sign is clear

    With bsl does it matter which hand u sign with or not??

    • @second-handcereal6772
      @second-handcereal6772 5 лет назад +2

      Life of Abbie Jenkins - nope! it's usually easier to sign with your dominant hand but you don't have to. it's important to choose a dominant hand and stick to it.
