The whole "Everything going Digital" is worrisome. My Meijers doesn't sell Physical Video Games anymore. It's just slips to download the....Digital 😢 Now Disney is abandoning ship?? 😮 Damn. Fav Shiala LaBeuf flick is "Eagle Eye".....non-stop tempo from start to finish. Check it out 🎥👀
Disney did sell the rights to Sony, but what I am seeing in the examples of those last James Cameron releases (which I think was Sonys first crack at it) the prices are going up and they are messing with the original movies. So we may never get them the way we remember.
@@meltingmovies1945 and that's why all this "change" with Media in general is not good. I understand the "convenience" of Digital. But the long term/ownership is not there like it is for Physical Media. Push on, my friend 💯💵
Totally agree about Something Wicked This Way Comes. A very strong adaption. Disney and it's stupid greedy "We're putting the movie back into the vault" nonsense. I too have fondness for The Black Hole. I own it on dvd and a streaming copy (until that gets taken away). I heard Kid in King Arthur's Court is supposedly good. The Kid is fun. Too many streamers edit the original movies. Rewinding and fast forwarding is crap on streaming. Disney should have made a deal to have the films re-released by another studio. They could have made a ton of money rather than going for the top price. Have a good weekend!
I don't understand your tangent/rant about Disney being commercial, or about how Star Wars only became a commercial property when Disney purchased it. Disney has always been a for-profit company, all the way back to the snow white days. As is the case with Star Wars. Star Wars toys and merchandise goes all the way back to the 70s. And Disney has been involved with Star Wars decades before they purchased the entire IP. Star Tours ring a bell?
Star Wars was always a commercial and merchandising success. I’m pretty sure the true fans appreciate the practical effects and amazing acting by a young cast. Disney just made it different. There is way too much. We appreciated the first original 3. Now there is a new series every week. I just don’t care anymore. It’s overwhelming

Love the comment. Enjoy the rest of your weekend
If you like movies where the car is alive you should check out 1977s "The Car" with James Brolin. Great movie
I own it. Definitely in my top 5 killer car movies.
