I love this video of the xmas markets in Manchester for 2024. However, it would have been helpful if you could have put the names of each of the areas where the separate set of market stalls are, on your video. Since you didn't, I'm rather confused as to where each of the markets are. I visit the markets in Manchester every year, but haven't been around all of them as yet. If I knew the names of the areas for each of them, it would make it a bit more easier to know which one(s) I would like to visit. Is it possible to write a list of names of each of the market areas you visited please, and in the order you visited them too?
Hi, yeah that’s a good point. I did mean to write it in the description but missed it off. This is starting at Exchange Square and walking down New Cathedral Street, onto Exchange Street and then looping back round in St Ann’s Square and back down the other sides.
Hi again. Thank you for replying with the names of the market areas you visited. I found it quite helpful. When you said you went back down the other sides, was that looping back round and going back down from st anne's square, walking the whole route backwards instead of forwards, or are there still 1 or 2 market areas you didn't mention? I'm sorry if I'm still a bit confused here. One other thing.... I come to the manchester markets on the tram. (I live quite local to manchester) I don't think I've visited these areas of the manchester markets yet. Do you know how far the nearest tram station is from here please?
@littlemissie7978 yeah just walking back down the other side of the stalls. From St Ann’s Square down to Exchange Square. There is also some more markets in Piccadilly Gardens you can see here - ruclips.net/video/6nNnDkGx_EQ/видео.htmlsi=UqV-TrE2Mrg0w1Fw The nearest Tram stop is Exchange Square, right at the start of this video
@@scenicrouteytHi again. Thanks a lot for the extra, very helpful reply.🙂 Exchange square is the market area I don't think I've visited as yet. I'll be starting my visit there next week, so I'll be looking forward to that. I'm aware that visiting during the week is less busier with people rather than at the weekend too. So yep, a week day it will be for my visit to the markets. Having the trams right next to Exchange Square sounds very handy, and should make it very easy for me to travel there and back. Thanks for the link to Pic Gardens Market too. I enjoyed watching through it, and hoping to visit that one sometime next week too. Thank you for your very helpful and friendly replies. I love your videos of the xmas markets. A big thumbs up.👍🙂
Okay Karen, you are in public. Nobody needs your consent. Do you consent to all the CCTV? Do you consent to being in the background of distant photos are concerts? Should people walk around and ask each individual in a city centre?
@TheDeadShox soul girl she watches and has a youtube account and has audacity to comment on her own thinking like she doesn't watch other content of manchester markets she lives in electric dreams of world that had only cars and sheep 😅
Would you rather have empty ghost town nobody had fun no point of filming with nobody at the markets we do live in grownup world with appreciation of someone took out there time to produce content that provides enhanced look on Christmas with people of course and tourism all given for that computer that you use to get daily content that is all expected since time you search it 🎉
@petesinclair8753 I'm very glad I'm made aware about this. I haven't been aware of any pickpockets in manchester really. The last time I was there was last year, and I did take my phone at the time. I still had it with me afterwards though. These things are quite expensive, I would be very annoyed and upset if I ever lost mine in this way. I'm going to make a mental note of pickpockets for when I visit the markets I think. I do hope to keep an eagle eye on mine when I take it with me hehe.👍

What’s your favourite scenic route?
It looks really nice looking at different stalls, im going to visit Manchester next month and have a look around thanks 🙏 for sharing your vlog
Enjoy it and make sure you eat and drink lots of good food and drink!

That’s on St Ann’s Square.
Looks like some fantastic Xmas stalls and food huts but too many people for my liking
This was filmed on the first Saturday after it opened. So was potentially the busiest day, will be better midweek
Any halal spots there?
I’m not sure, there probably is a couple

You’re more than welcome. I hope you enjoy your visits to the markets and have a great Christmas!
Eu queria tar lá
They’re open until Dec 22
Too expensive the robbing gits
Same as anything that has the word Christmas infront of it, instantly increases the price
Tend to stay away from crowds especially this time of year, Each to his own i suppose.
I try to also. Normally if I were to visit somewhere like this myself I would go early on a weekday
well i was going to go but the fact that people think its okay to record anyone and everybody without consent puts me off
That’s a shame that feel you have to miss out on visiting so many places that me and others have recorded.

WATCH OUT FOR THE IMMIGRANT PICK POCKETS, THEY NEARLY GOT MY PHONE 🤨
Pickpockets can be an issue in any main city around the world nowadays

great chrimas market dont no whot one is better this one or birmingham😄
I think Manchester is better personally. Its bigger and seems more of the stalls are independent businesses
15.44 Did she just steal something??
😂😂
Totally soulless, no traditional Christmas music or themes. Where's the Nativity scenes, Santa Clause, images of Jesus.
Yeah it’s sheer sales really. Nothing of any tradition anywhere.
