Have been watching your videos, I like them and you have a very clear voice, which I, as a viewer, always expect from a motovlogger. Not much to say, lots of effort goes into making these videos, things will get sorted and better with time, which will make you big, gradually. And I, as a subscriber and a viewer will be here, lurking around to witness it and that will make me happy. Someday, maybe, when you say your youtube success story I will think that yes I was among some of the first few. All the best mate...🤘🤘
Was waiting for this! Thanks so much. Agree with you on why there was performance lag. You're the first ever to make a top speed video with the exhaust. Cheers, Abhinav!
Maybe the problem is Humidity.. In high humidity the air becomes less dense. Less dense air means less available oxygen for the combustion process, which results in less power produced by the engine...
My first impression when i watched ur first video is ur voice and the content u make is super cool....nice video's bro i hope u continue this journey...🤘✌️
Bro the modifications that you have done on your bike is just insane and i love it also. And one more thing is that the way you have maintained your R15 is also amazing 😊😊😘😘✌🏻✌🏻
Hi Abhinav some tips, I hope this might help u in clearing ur doubts. 1. Daytona exhaust helps u reach topspeed of R15 more faster than the stock bike. ( so checkout the time here) 2. Yes, u need a ECU remap for rich mixture to go into the engine, that will help u achive maybe 5-7 kmph extra. So the overall topspeed can be achived more faster than the stock bike, & prevent the engine from getting fired, as ur running a free flow system with lean mixture. 3. When u shift gears One thing always keep in mind, dont over rev. the engine by redlining it for a long time, coz by doing that ur actually killing the power and engine, in short the power stalls. 4. There is a sweet spot before the engine starts stalling ( the redline ). U have to be very quick and shift the gear at that point before the engine start to stall. That's when u get maximum power out of a engine. 5. When u open the throttle take it easy, open it step by step. While rolling on the throttle give some time at every stage till the end. It should always progressive, dont finish off the throttle so soon hold it for sometime before u reach the end. But u dont have to open the throttle till the end, just hold it for sometime till the end n shift gear.
@PARAS SHAKYA , with the help of oversize pistons, bigger bore kit, bigger injectors, tall gear ratios, high octane fuel, BMC airfilter and some few more mods. I can hit 200kmph on the dyno 😁 👍
thanks for this video,, i was waiting for this from long time with daytona told u 2times thats y. thanks bro n ur bike looks like R1 from front.. amazing customize dude. black looks beast frm front
Great video. Also a great effort. Just one small suggestion. If the Daytona exhaust is provided by Yamaha as a kit the new map will be installed, along with it will be the high lift cams and a different rear sproket to change the gearing. Also if you have installed the exhaust from out side then the top end power will fall due to changes in the back pressure dynamics.
Hello Sanjay. I remember meeting you back in 2006/2007 or some such when you were taking feedback for the original R15 V1. This was an Xbhp meet. I remember that interaction quite vividly. Don't know if you'd remember, but when you asked what should a small bike be like, I had said an Aprilia RS125. Sadly, this time around, Yamaha is not providing a remap. Just the full system exhaust that doesn't make sense. No high-lift cam, nothing. We rode together about a year ago too with the Triumph group. You were on your red Thruxton R and I was on my black Street Triple 675. Would love to catch up with you again and talk bikes. What's up with the new Hero bikes? You shelved the 250 plans, but supposedly are working on a 300. Would love an update. Cheers
I sort of have a explanation I previously owned a R 15 v2 Was trying to hit the max speed Heard rumours of it reaching till 147 kmph . But wanted to test it out now about my bike. it's a beast compared to other r15 v2 It took 6 attempts for me to reach max 1) it went 137 but i have previously reached my top speed of 141 but idk what was the problem it was not going more than 137 it was on the same highway. Nh45 is the highway. 2) everything was ideal conditions Fuel was exactly 4L in the tank and now again i tried and it went up to 138 . Kept trying and trying but it wouldn't go further. 3) after a month was just soloing when the climate was around 37° in Chennai it was hot and it was on the same highway and i just wanted to try now it went to a top of 145 kmph and not more than that. It's the max i hit. So I don't know why it went now 145 kmph is a great top for my v2. So wanted to see whats the ideal conditions that made my bike hit its top. I after a lot of asking around i came to the conclusion it was due to the fact that Our bike won't be in its ideal best condition. I hit 158kmph in my r15 v3 i find the seating slightly more aggressive but more sporty than v2 but i kind feel that the v2 had a better overall riding experience like Can adjust the seating and all.
*This works at least for me* 3 major reasons which affects the top speed, 1.ignorance in chain cleaning and lubrication 2. proper tyre pressure, nitrogen seems more effective 3. Filling up fuels in different stations. I make sure all these factors doesn't affect my bike, every time I hit a open highway with my r15 v2 she does top speed of 145-147 km/hr neglecting the environmental circumstance.
Time to bust the myth...! . I previously owned a fz-s 2010 decent bike with ample power and torque but my greed for more power kicked in. So ran to Yamaha showroom near me and asked mech's there what should I do get more power from the bike. They have shown the Daytona exhaust and said there will be a power gain for sure(Spending spree begins), fitting is finished in 30min most anxious minutes in my life, coz its my first performance upgrade. After finishing the mech started to revit and its shooting "Blue Flames" like a night fury(for a moment I thought its my new dragon ….. after villainy smile ). REALITY kicks in : entered the road and killed a loud RE instantly, it sounds like Godzilla without a dbkiller(
nope having more fuel in your charge make your mixture rich(remember you wont have enough oxy to burn it), must have new cam shaft and a bigger CC bore kit to get some noticeable increase in power. Sorry I forgot to mention the decrease in 0-100 time of 1 second with Daytona.
warriordave 5007 yes you would run rich if you didn't add a free flow air filter I know people who gained 3-4 HP on 150 cc sportbikes by adding a piggyback ECU+free flow air filter+ free flow exhaust
We have the same issue bro, I felt like the FI lack fuel on 5th to 6th gear, no issue on 1st to 5th gear. On neutral I can see white smoke vapors when constantly revving the MC, It seems the FI is injecting too much fuel, that's why it doesn't have problems on acceleration, but it results backfire sometimes. It may be reduced by changing a multi-spark spark plug for efficient burning of fuel. Btw my exhaust is also a replica, Akrapovic carbon full exhaust. I heard BRT has ECU for our R15 V3. I recommend you check it bro :)
ruclips.net/video/akRgX2JAXNs/видео.html I believe you already have seen this bro. Also for the performance, as what I have said above, acceleration at 1st to 5th gear has no problem, only in sixth gear, it has no power at all to push forward, it might be that the FI lacks giving fuel because of the exhaust. Top speed at most is at 137km/h due to short roads, but it seemed even like 10 seconds on 137km/h, it seemed the MC is having a hard time go higher than that, it might be on the ecu giving fuel. I have tried my top speed on stock, which was also 137km/h, but it seemed it want to go higher than the replica exhaust. I have changed my exhaust because I thought it might easily beat it's stock top speed, but it was worst than the stock on higher gear.
The compression limit has dropped in the cylinder.... U have got better acceleration (more torque) but ur speed will go down. if you want to increase the speed..! best would be a smaller rear sprocket with 150/60 tyre on the rear.. u can definitely hit 158+ on it in that way... but the acceleration will decrease. so its vise-versa, its speed or Torque without ECU remapping.
yes it is exhaust problem otherwise you will not struggle in 6th gear ..you didnot getting the rpm limit in your bike but the bike is power full than others
After scrolling through a lot of you tube channel. I came across yours channel featuring imported kits being installed on your bike and just as I went through your you tube page. I guess you the man of words watching a series of videos which help me in gaining some technical knowledge and how it should work. It really impressed me and of course I do appreciate your patience and words that you keep up in this. Literally I am in a confusion whether to buy a R15v3 or rc200? Still did not come to an conclusion but of course I will as I need to do a lot of research.. This is most probably the first lengthiest comment that I writing and hope to see more of your videos in future. Thank you .. With regards, Tony.😎
Hello, Tony. First, I thank you for the encouraging words. Second, I think you should test ride both bikes to see which suits you better. Both are very good bikes, but the Yamaha is more refined. The KTM accelerates a lot faster. You'll never be able to make up you mind till you ride them back to back. I hope you are able to decide soon. Cheers
@@abhinavbhatt I currently own a pulsar 220 2013 model.. It still does good but now the built quality and power is getting reduced day by day.. End of the day-"Yeah I need an upgrade". KTM does give a bhp of 25 and V3 does give a bhp of 19-20 which is almost the same that 220 gives.. Comparing both R15 and RC 200, in the long run R15v3 kills rc200 but in the short and track I guess RC makes it well. I always think of going for more bhp while upgrading but R15 stands inbetween in terms of performance despite of its 20 bhp engine and cost as well.. My passion is onto the tracks and with the next upgrade I definitely need to think well before the decision.. BTW thanks for replying back for me.
That's why i told ya , this exhaust are utter bullshit. As i told ya , it will negate the performance instead :D I have tried this all shit. Had a V2 in past. I have even tried the same with several other motorcycles. Single cylinders are not good for this exhausts. Apart from that , last time you also went through few normal inclines to push that tiny engine to get even more rev happy. And there is nothing related to temperatures , as it is still Hot , the outside temperature makes difference when the temperature range is vast , not in our Indian conditions too easily , unless its a totally Winter-summer. Also , coming all the way to highway would have made it reach its temperature more than required. Well , apart from that exactly , Yamaha don't have the solution because Yamaha don't want to play with its reliability , as Mapping a motorcycle perfectly is also a TASK. which will be ruined if changed for minority. Not only single parameter changes on maps , relativity affects all around its characteristic. So, Yamaha knows there are nearly negligible people who understands all this , so don't mess up with anything , as attaining more than 140-150s in R15 has always always been a task too. And it is a simple reason of engine is releasing all the power through that free flow exhaust & is not able to hold the tight revs of the engine to rise higher. Everything is extracted more freely. What manufacturers do is they keep stock exhaust unlike free flow which would hold on the power instead of leaking it like this. Which also results in everything better Jumping revs , No nasty sound , No Efficiency loss etc. As you said , a ECU mapping is important to attain more air/fuel ratio to generate proper revs , even plugging a performance filter without right tune will ruin the performance even worse. Engine will struggle even more than ever. R15 really don't have that strong hold of power , once you enter the last gears. And small small things like this will even ruin it further. You might also attain good topspeeds near 155s , but again will need a push of slope or air direction towards your run. The air drag is even more if you attempt , while wind direction is opposed to you. All the performance mods are bullshit except for ECU & WEIGHT REDUCTION. You may try several times , but you wont feel happy about the exhaust working unless you get a Map. Power phase with just exhaust increases just in fewer gears & not entirely. Apart from that , it is either way R15's characteristic of not attaining topspeeds on every try. Attaining 150-152 will be a happy task everytime you will see. In old R15s , except from V1 , V2 was also very bad for attaining topspeeds. It wont just do it everytime you try it , even if you take care of proper roads and atmostpheric conditions. SO , i would say you may do it for Fun , but dont waste your time on seeing the results unless you get your hands on Powertronics.
Bikes like NS don't require , even with an exhaust would reach the same topspeed. well, but you can get a racing CDI. With carbs , you will need to work on Jets.
Reason for lower top end: By making exhaust free flow you reduce the back pressure , which in turn reduces the force on piston movement. Bike is running lean, get your ECU remapped.
@Abhinav Bhatt - Installing only a free flow exhaust or a free flow filter won't help..!! You will need a piggyback to override the ECU to get the fueling right !! The R15 fuel injection system will NOT adjust the fuel flow automatically because it runs an open loop fuel injection system. There is no O2 sensor providing feedback to the ECU on whether the bike is running rich or lean. On the R15, the airfuel ratio needs to be set manually with a handheld controller available for the purpose. Open loop FI systems are used on small bikes like the r15 to save costs. There are also closed loop FI systems such as those used in cars and they are quite expensive. A closed loop system is capable of making adjustments to the fuel flow based on inputs from various sensors in the vehicle.
Don't let the revs bounce off the limiter bro. The moment it happens, the bike will looks momentum. Do perfect shifts in recommended rpm for the V3. I haven't rode the V3 yet, but got my V2 tuned with UMA Racing cam and Daytona ecu just 3 days back...I shift at 10k rpm for each gear. Haven't checked the top due to rainy weather. But mine it does 53kph in 1st gear and 96 at 3rd at 10k rpm. Also get the FZ25 throttle. Yoke, cable and grips. Its a perfect quick throttle for low price costs like 1000₹ a quarter roll on throttle revs the Engine upto 6.5k. now the throttle is Twitchy similar to a KTM. Cheers! #Ridesafe
Thanks for the tip, Joe. I'll try the quick throttle. I usually shift up at 10k, but this time due to the Daytona I felt the bike was revving up faster, so missed a few shifts. Was too focussed on the road. Would love to watch your bike in action. Do upload some videos. Cheers
Have you tried not using clutch while Upshifting to carry higher rpm's?? It will help reach top speed faster. While upshifting, just marginally release the throttle and simultaneously upshift - takes some practice - but that way u dont lose too much rpms while upshifting and reduce power lag
Its Me Again ! Bro hv u watched his old top speed video in which its touching 158km/hr i was talking in that context..!! N i kw 137km/hr is great speed with pillion...
Don't be disheartened. You have to factor in had favourable conditions that day. I was drafting trucks on a 50 km long empty highway which has downhill sections and I had a tailwind. Also, Speed 97. All this helped. And with riding gear I am 88 kg at least. A lighter person might have touched 160 that day. Cheers
If I remember correctly the daytona kit for the V1 came with ECU which increased the rev limit from 10.5K to 12K. This time have they launched only the exhaust ? With V1 they had launched 3 things in the racing kit:- full exhaust, larger front petal disc and ECU.
You ve just wasted ur money by putting the daytona exhaust.....You must appreciate the fact that being a 150cc it atleast touches 150 kmph.......I doesnt make sense in putting 17k for a increase of 2bhp... Just love your bike the way it is.....
Its Me Again ! .....im just sincerely concerned about him and i hope that he loves his bike and wouldn't like to ruin his bike and waste his hard earned money....and by the way r15 goes over 140+ kmph being a 150 cc which is a great thing......my point is it is not wise to spend 16k just for a 2 or 3 bhp increase in power.....and if u want more power then u must go for rs200 or rc200/390....and r15 is a excellent performing bike in stock condition
Hello Ujwal. I am not doing this for outright power. I'm just trying to make this bike track worthy and for that, a bike needs to rev cleanly. This free flow does that. I don't care for power. Just technique. For power, my fully done up Street Triple puts out over 100 BHP. Hope this explains. Cheers
Two reasons y it’s may be impacting 1.air temp and density 2. Your exhaust mod could have added negative back pressure if not tuned properly deteriorating the performance .. change the chain sprocket with Daytona and air filter with this mod you should see performance improvement !
I'm not going to alter the gearing by changing sprockets. I'll do another run when I can on a warm day. And this time with the baffle in so that I don't lose all back pressure. Just adding an air filter to this set up won't work eithet. The bike will just run lean. Let me new ECU arrive. I'll add it then. Cheers
Bro which #gopro do you use and where you have placed the camera please tell me . Your camera is postion is much better with roads , trucks as well as speedometer and tank please tell me .where the position is
May b the reasion is that it changes the tuning of the torque band, by installing this exaust the power is increased in the midrange but also decreased in low-end and high-end try installing exaust other than daytona as ecu mapping and dyno testing is not available easily
my 1st gen R15 2010 model with the full daytona race kit (i.e. with high lift cams big bore racing chain sprocket ecu etc ) could do almost 170 on the speedo ! Don't fuck around too much with the engine though since its just a 155cc bike ! Looks amazing with the mods !
It's good that u r replying your viewers... So I have a question what about the tank problem if anyone faces it.. is Yamaha even trying to something.. And yes I am going through many videos on back and wrist pain.. Kindly enlighten...
Hi. I don't know what Yamaha is doing about the tank issue. Personally, I haven't faced it while riding even once. However, if someone forces the tank open, the panels do come apart. Anyway, I now have a mod on my bike that completely eliminates the possibility of the tank issue. I'll make a video about it when I can. Regarding the back and wrist pain, I believe it should not be a problem after a few weeks of riding. The body gets used to the bike and makes adjustments on its own. I didn't have any back or wrist pain after about two weeks of ownership.
@@abhinavbhatt h thanx bro.... But that's very bias of Yamaha.. recently I had seen the Indonesian version of v3..bro they got 7 colours there with USD forks and not sure about ABS. Why this absurdity with us Yamaha.?
They also pay more than 50,000 over what we pay here. There's a reason why Yamaha did what they did. Most in India would not have bought this bike for 2 lakhs.
@@abhinavbhatt but they should have given optional atleast 4 some premium buyers..and dude u can't play the defence game on ABS cuz it's so necessary and basic nowadays..
Let me make my point of view on the lack of ABS on the R15 very clear: 1. ABS, no matter how big a life saver, shouldn't be the deciding factor in ruling this bike out. Try its braking, it is decent. Till a few years ago, even the Hayabusa did not have ABS. 2. Yamaha does not sell the R15 V3 with ABS anywhere in the world. If they waited to develop an ABS-equipped model, the bike would have launched probably now or much later. 3. I am not defending Yamaha for not equipping this bike with ABS. I just don't see an absolute need for ABS.
I see lower profile tyres on your v3. Was your previous run with the stock exhaust done on this tyre or on the stock tyre? The stock tyre is of a higher profile so it may yeild higher speeds.
Abhinav Bhatt Then its probalbly due to the daytona exhaust. Any aftermarket exhaust requires a performance airfilter along with a ecu remap or a carburetor jet change/tuning depending on the vehicle. Its strange to see that yamaha is providing nothing else with the exhaust.
@@abhinavbhatt bhai leken aapne apni video me btaya h ki tax lgta h 42 percent India me ate hei? Usi ko dekh k bola bhai mne to and unki trf se koi rply ni aa rha bro
Could you please take a look at my Instagram once. Some photos there. Link in the video description. Not a lot of cosmetic bits on the bike. Basic mods so far.
For R15 V3, best exhaust that do not make it lose its initial is Scorpion exhaust and yes needs and AEM ECU (Best is ARacer) that needs to be tuned especially for Air Flow ratio and to take off RPM lock at 12K.... Besides needing for Free flow air intake and a Better ignition coil (USR - Ultra-speed)... However, with all these Mumbo-Jumbo...around 2 HP at wheels may be gained... :)
How did u get that carbon fibre look to your handle and all that speedometer area can u plz upload a video btw ur bike is looking gud nd what's the price of daytona exhaust u are using
Hello Kuljit. I have a video on the carbon fibre wrap that you can check out on my channel. That will give you a fair idea. The Daytona exhaust costs Rs 16,700. I have a few videos on it too. Cheers
changing/upgrading something such as exhaust or camshafts without tuning/remapping ecu would just give bad results instead of better performance, hence programmable ecu is a must, because everytime you change something specially your exhaust will affect air/fuel,backpressure etc. im no expert but its just based on my experience, whenever i change my stock exhaust to performance exhaust and vise versa,i plug in my ecu remote into my p.ecu to see the reading of air/fuel/ignition power level/back pressure, then you will just tune it according to whats best performance mapping would suit your bike.
8 times out of 10 racing exhausts ALWAYS need a tuned ECU to bring out that extra sliver of power. The stock ecu is tuned specifically for the stock exhaust. So if anyone calls racing exhausts bullshit, they're just being ignorant and completely out of it. Your motorcycle will always run lean when you mod the pipes, so get an aftermarket ecu to install the correct map.
Did I call this exhaust bullshit? I don't think so. I just said the engine is running lean with it. And I have ordered an aftermarket ECU from Indonesia. I will extract the full potential of this exhaust soon :)
Don't buy the Daytona just for street riding. It's not needed if not on the race track. The gains are not that noticeable on the street. The mileage won't take a very big hit.
Hey brother.!! Just watched the awesome video ,I have to say this ,let it be Yamahas tuning partner but 16k+ is absurd for this exhaust ,and by the way what is your take on raceconcepts exhaust for the r15 ,they provide some awesome gains.!
Hey brother. I have never experienced the RaceConcepts exhaust but what I can say from experience is just changing the exhaust doesn't get massive gains. Need a filter, remap etc too. I do think with the right combination of the above mentioned, this Daytona exhaust will prove its worth. Remember, it also weighs just 2 kilos, so helps with weight reduction too.
@@abhinavbhatt I know brother,my friend has just bought this beast and I suggested him to install a powertronics ,the exhaust part is confusing though.like which brand is better.!?
Sir aapki v3 mei kya 180 by 70 mm ke tyre lage hai jo ki superbikes mei lagte hai aur kya vo tyres stock alloys pe lage hai ki apne custom alloys lagvaye hai
Hey mate...try putting up 0-60,0-100..times for ur r15 versus stock exhaust. Mayb it is quicker. Also with the "db killer" u put in there, does the bike not attract cops no more... Is it a option dat can b considered?
No. I am afraid it isn't. Too loud with the DB killer as well. The upside is you get fantastic mileage since you deliberately don't whack the throttle fearing cops now. Hhahahha
It’s because of your exhaust bro. You’ve changed which release pressure through the large area which leads less pressure inside the engine and cannot create enough combustion to give more power to the engine.
I think your daytona exhaust have too much opening in the elbow, or it has a big elbow stem which make it slow a bit in the top end.. full exhaust systems is not all the time can give you additional top end, for me stock exhaust is not good in acceleration but can produce more power in the top end. I've experienced it on my bikes.. its more productive in the top end if you just tweak your stock pipe.
If u drag the R15 for top speed...it doesn't reach the top speed... Although it reaches top speed quicker...but if u really wanna reach the max speed..then u should rev slowly n let the bike pick up the motion.....shift gears after it reaches the max rpm(not like drag race) it will reach the max top speed but will take more time n distance.. coz its a lower CC Bike.. I hope you can see the difference...
Try on dry hot day. Maybe moisture in air effecting combustion.🤔 I thought it will run around 156 or something. bur i also didn't understand why it is happened. Ecu remapping will help
Yeah, I am making some mods that will increase the performance. I have detailed all the mods I plan in a new video. If you want, you can check that out as well.
The wind was blowing in the direction I was headed in. Tail wind. With riding gear, I am pretty heavy. 88.2 kg that day. Mapping definitely required. Cheers
Bit of a let down then this Daytona exhaust? The reason for the slower Vmax is as you have rightly said, the engine mapping needs to be optimized for it. This much of a speed difference really isn't caused by any other factors such as ambient conditions. I suggest you do the remap but before that, change to a high flow performance air filter. Do the run again just as an experiment control to see if there is any difference with exhaust+air filter. Chances are there won't be and even if there is, your next move MUST be to do the remap. I feel then and only then will you get the optimum performance out of all your engine mods. Good luck
Top speed we compared. His did 146 and mine did 151. But with all the riding gear I was wearing, I outweighed him by 20 kg. That is a lot of weight. My bike was faster. I shot a small drag run with him. I'll release a video on it soon. Cheers
With free flow exhaust at high RPM the A/F mixture gonna enter very fast and excapes through exhaust rapidly with incomplete combustion thus making no power than that, need some back pressure to make it completly burn.adding more fuel and Adv ignition timing at high RPM range might work for free flow exhaust.mapping is gonna make you reach more than 160km/hr easily for sure..waiting to see with that upgrade....✌
Back pressure is myth, in his case it's the AFR. Once it's done properly it will be fine. Still it will not do real 150 or 160 kmph. Maybe 145 kmph. But it will be much quicker.

Maybe the problem is Humidity..
In high humidity the air becomes less dense. Less dense air means less available oxygen for the combustion process, which results in less power produced by the engine...

Hi Abhinav some tips, I hope this might help u in clearing ur doubts.
1. Daytona exhaust helps u reach topspeed of R15 more faster than the stock bike. ( so checkout the time here)

No. I don't want that 😂
@PARAS SHAKYA , with the help of oversize pistons, bigger bore kit, bigger injectors, tall gear ratios, high octane fuel, BMC airfilter and some few more mods. I can hit 200kmph on the dyno 😁 👍
Abhinav Bhatt, ur volgs have good quality content, Keep up the good work cheers mate!
Excellent description and explanation. Keep up the good work!
See..i told you last time u needed an ecu and k and n...gr8 vid as always bro
Thanks Rishabh. Yeah, a full system without a remap doesn't work. We now have proof too. Cheers
thanks for this video,, i was waiting for this from long time with daytona told u 2times thats y. thanks bro
n ur bike looks like R1 from front.. amazing customize dude. black looks beast frm front
Glad you enjoyed, Avishek. Cheers
Abhinav Bhatt.. thanks dude. though i am disappointed by the topspeed result like u.
btw is it r15 or R1(looks) ? 😉
Hahahhaha. Looks lovely, doesn't it?
Abhinav Bhatt even Yamaha will copy u.. beware. 👌
Hahahahhaha. I'll ask for royalty then 😂
Great video.
Cheers
But would be to stick with the stock exhaust for a balance of power. Xtreme 200 will soon be available. Yes we should ride again.
I'm getting a tuning box, an air filter so this exhaust should be of some use then. Will catch up offline. Cheers
Lovely I was waiting for this video. Can't wait for you to remap the bike
Soon, bro. Wait for it. Cheers
I sort of have a explanation
I previously owned a R 15 v2
Was trying to hit the max speed
Heard rumours of it reaching till 147 kmph .
But wanted to test it out now about my bike. it's a beast compared to other r15 v2
It took 6 attempts for me to reach max
1) it went 137 but i have previously reached my top speed of 141 but idk what was the problem it was not going more than 137 it was on the same highway.
Nh45 is the highway.
2) everything was ideal conditions
Fuel was exactly 4L in the tank and now again i tried and it went up to 138 .
I after a lot of asking around i came to the conclusion it was due to the fact that
Our bike won't be in its ideal best condition.
I hit 158kmph in my r15 v3 i find the seating slightly more aggressive but more sporty than v2 but i kind feel that the v2 had a better overall riding experience like
Can adjust the seating and all.
*This works at least for me*
3 major reasons which affects the top speed,
1.ignorance in chain cleaning and lubrication
2. proper tyre pressure, nitrogen seems more effective
After finishing the mech started to revit and its shooting
"Blue Flames" like a night fury(for a moment I thought its my new dragon ….. after villainy smile ).
REALITY kicks in : entered the road and killed a loud RE instantly, it sounds like Godzilla without a dbkiller(
warriordave 5007 rejetting the carburettor does work... Dynojet have some cool jets try those
nope having more fuel in your charge make your mixture rich(remember you wont have enough oxy to burn it), must have new cam shaft and a bigger CC bore kit to get some noticeable increase in power. Sorry I forgot to mention the decrease in 0-100 time of 1 second with Daytona.
warriordave 5007 yes you would run rich if you didn't add a free flow air filter
I know people who gained 3-4 HP on 150 cc sportbikes by adding a piggyback ECU+free flow air filter+ free flow exhaust
Oh man. I might be headed down that route too!
The idea is to have the right balance. Neither rich nor lean. I'll upload a Daytona acceleration video in about a week's time. Cheers
Awesome video brother good job
Krushna Awalkar Thank you, Krushna. Such comments keep me motivated. Cheers
158 kmph on stock exhaust
Maybe Speedo error. R15 is fast but not that fast
Yeah. Speedo error for sure. Must be about 140 kmph true top speed.
Doesn't matter if you're comparing r15 speedo withr15 speedo
Ur correct! After I installed the BMC air filter + arrow map then only my bike gained power with racefit exhaust!
Yeah. Otherwise it would just run lean. How much does the 765 put out with the Racefit?
Abhinav Bhatt it's now almost as fast as a stock RS;did a run; so can tell u that; I have a 765 S
I know. Funny that we haven't ridden together yet. I started my 675 after over a month yesterday.
Abhinav Bhatt yes surely next time!
Never lose hope. By the way bike looks neat. That back end is well tailored.
Never. Thanks, Anand :)
Nice vid dude. Keep it up. Can't wait for ECU remap :)
Thanks, John. Me neither :)
Hi John. Could you send me a link, please. Also, how is your bike performing with the replica exhaust? Cheers
ruclips.net/video/akRgX2JAXNs/видео.html
I believe you already have seen this bro.
Oh yeah, I have watched this before. Same problem for me. My bike on the stock exhaust went up to 158 but was struggling at 151 with the Daytona.
Getting a new ECU and a whole host of other mods. Stay tuned. Cheers
Superb voice quality and video quality
Thanks man :)
you have 2 less things to make a perfect combustion sandwhich i.e. air filter and ecu
Yes, Abhishek. Both being sourced. This is not the last you'll see of me :)
get a racing kit chain it will reduce the unsprung mass and also by decreasing or increasing your teeth you can gain or decrease your speed
I am quite satisfied with the gearing. I'll switch to a quality chain and sprockets in some time. Cheers
Bro really doing great...
Keep moving...
Thanks, Abhinav :)
yes it is exhaust problem otherwise you will not struggle in 6th gear ..you didnot getting the rpm limit in your bike but the bike is power full than others
With regards,
Tony.😎
Most welcome, Tony. If you plan to keep your bike for long, I would recommend the R15.
@@abhinavbhatt I appreciate it. Thank you.
Road Trimmer guess m the only one who had the patience to read through this looooooooong comment.....
Ferbin Feroz thankyou , have you got anything to say ?
Even I read the whole comment without a skip, but ECU's remaps won't work for me, my NS is carburettor fed.😂 Stock CDI has 5 maps, enough for me.
Road Trimmer what's your Instagram ID?
Bikes like NS don't require , even with an exhaust would reach the same topspeed. well, but you can get a racing CDI. With carbs , you will need to work on Jets.
Reason for lower top end: By making exhaust free flow you reduce the back pressure , which in turn reduces the force on piston movement. Bike is running lean, get your ECU remapped.
Hello Siddharth. Yes, a new ECU will be installed soon. Cheers
I like your voice 😁
Thanks Rickey :)
That's quite insightful, Rohan. And an ECU mod is already on its way. Watch this space for more. Cheers
Cheers
Add V3 injectors on V2 ..it will enhance the fuel delivery
Hi bro, could you share some more details about the FZ 25 throttle for R15 V3?
Finally your video has arrived 😍
Hope it was worth the wait, Mithun :)
Abhinav Bhatt yeh i also get disappointed by seeing the vido after Dayton exhaust stock exhaust is too better bec it top speed is 158😍
Well tried bro.
Thanks man. I will keep trying. Cheers
Have you tried not using clutch while Upshifting to carry higher rpm's?? It will help reach top speed faster. While upshifting, just marginally release the throttle and simultaneously upshift - takes some practice - but that way u dont lose too much rpms while upshifting and reduce power lag
Sure. I'll try clutchless upshifts on this bike.
Anything related to uphill...? Means u might hv done 158km/hr on downhill...
Mine r15 v3 never go above 137km/hr on uphill with pillion...!!
The road I was riding on has both uphill and downhill. I rode both. Even downhill it didn't go beyond 151. Cheers
Cheers
mine v2 never crossed 130
Strange. I dragged with a V2 once. That bike went upto 147.
If I remember correctly the daytona kit for the V1 came with ECU which increased the rev limit from 10.5K to 12K. This time have they launched only the exhaust ?
With V1 they had launched 3 things in the racing kit:- full exhaust, larger front petal disc and ECU.
Yes, this time only the exhaust. It's like Yamaha is going one step back with the racing kit.
Go for Racedynamics piggyback unit, will make a noticeable difference with/without replacement air filter.
They haven't developed one yet for the V3. I checked.
Ohhhhhhh man! That front carbon fibre wrap is phenomenal!!! 😱😍😍😍😍❤❤❤

You ve just wasted ur money by putting the daytona exhaust.....You must appreciate the fact that being a 150cc it atleast touches 150 kmph.......I doesnt make sense in putting 17k for a increase of 2bhp... Just love your bike the way it is.....
Thanks, Ujwal. Till someone doesn't try, how will everyone find out? And yes, I appreciate what this bike can do quite a lot :)
Cheers
Not public demand, I'm doing this for myself :)
Cheers

I expected 160-165 cross with Daytona exhaust 🙄😏
So was I, Krushna. With a remap it most certainly will. Give me time. I'll make it happen. Cheers
MrJanizPetke yeah me too from the r1
Hahahahhaha. Nice one dude.
160 is the readline without ECU unlocked at 6th gear @ 11,500 RPM. With ECU unlocked it would be 174 kmph at 6th gear @ 13000 rpm
But the question is, will it rev to 13000 in sixth gear when the ECU is unlocked.
Thanks for the video sir as i was told thank you.

May b the reasion is that it changes the tuning of the torque band, by installing this exaust the power is increased in the midrange but also decreased in low-end and high-end try installing exaust other than daytona as ecu mapping and dyno testing is not available easily
I habe bought a new ECU and am also dyno tuning the bike now :)
You must change the front fork with the up side down bro 😊
Yes, bro. I will. Cheers
bro can you please make a proper vedio through that we can see what are the changes u have done in ur bike. seriously ur bike looks awsm.
Yes, my friend. I will do that soon. Cheers
my 1st gen R15 2010 model with the full daytona race kit (i.e. with high lift cams big bore racing chain sprocket ecu etc ) could do almost 170 on the speedo ! Don't fuck around too much with the engine though since its just a 155cc bike ! Looks amazing with the mods !
Naah. I don't intend to mess around with the internals. Just a tuning box and air filter etc. And thank you :)
Let me make my point of view on the lack of ABS on the R15 very clear:
This tyre only. Metzeler M5 H rated, 150/60 rear.
Yeah, Rajdip. Even I am very surprised.
Abhinav bro plzz suggest me the racing ecu that's come with pre loaded map for performance and it will be cheaper

Atleast can you tell me about the cosmetic mods. In the comment section. That would be really helpful.
Could you please take a look at my Instagram once. Some photos there. Link in the video description. Not a lot of cosmetic bits on the bike. Basic mods so far.
+1 rep for video and effort ...
does this mean k&n stock replacement too need a remap ecu :(
Thanks, Vinay :)
No. Just with an air filter I think you'd be fine. K&N doesn't make a filter for it yet. Cheers

You are right. And I'm getting a programmable ECU along with a whole host of things. Wait for it. Cheers
bro thats nice i have R15 v3 blue colour same like you.. nice bike😍🔵
Cool
100 or 110 is plenty fast for me, Why go faster ?!! R15 is a nice bike. You make great videos , Thank you.
Abhinav Bhatt not you mate, there are people in the comments just calling it bullshit. You have nice videos, relax
Haha. Thanks man :)
What is practical use of tail tidy ???
It's just for looks.
You need to do FID after installing new Exhaust... Unless you can't achieve your top speed

No idea my friend. Can't comment on something I haven't used.
@@abhinavbhatt thankyou anyways for your reply brother.! Happy riding cheers.!😉
Cheers to you too.
I took the DB killer out. Hated the sound with it. I'll do an acceleration comparison test whenever I can. Cheers
Abhinav Bhatt with dat "db killer"...is it managable on road...lyk is it obvious illegal loud...haha...
No. I am afraid it isn't. Too loud with the DB killer as well. The upside is you get fantastic mileage since you deliberately don't whack the throttle fearing cops now. Hhahahha
Abhinav Bhatt lol...dats a nyc way to increase mileage...haha
I know, right?
It’s because of your exhaust bro. You’ve changed which release pressure through the large area which leads less pressure inside the engine and cannot create enough combustion to give more power to the engine.
Yes. Trying to fix that soon.
Bro nice im planning to get one soon, im from the Philippines😍
Awesome.
@@abhinavbhatt but i want to think qbout first,r15 v3 or Suzuki gsxr
I think the Suzuki is slightly faster but I don't think you can go wrong with either of the two. All the best for whichever you go in for.
Take a test ride of both. Go with whichever you like more.
U got a new subscriber
Thanks Shazan :)
Yes, you are right.
Sure. I will try it out.
Change the air filter, not a k&n but better than that, ECU remapping is not possible in these bikes so you have to compromise on that.
I have already bought a K&N but not installing it yet. Waiting for customs to clear my ECU first. Have bought a new one from Indonesia.
My Suzuki GSX r 150, ECU+Exhaust =165 km top speed
Nice.
How was the wind conditions when you did those runs?? Because the bike struggles to cross 140kmph if there is a strong headwind
I did not have a headwind. However, when I did hit 158 on the stock bike, I had a bit of tailwind.
Without mudguard in rain😂 bro you are legend
I barely ride, my friend. I only ride on Sunday mornings when the weather is nice and sunny. So, I can do without a mudguard :)
Does the air and fuel ratio tuned on daytona? Or you just only installed daytona without any adjustments?
There is no way to adjust anything on this bike. The stock ECU does not let you change anything.
Try on dry hot day. Maybe moisture in air effecting combustion.🤔 I thought it will run around 156 or something. bur i also didn't understand why it is happened. Ecu remapping will help
Yes, Vishal. I'll try it on a warm day too. Cheers
Vishal Thakur , ya bro because in earlier vedio it did 158 kmph
bro i guess the CDI is locked, if you use after market unlocked set up i think you can touch the last line
Yeah, I am making some mods that will increase the performance. I have detailed all the mods I plan in a new video. If you want, you can check that out as well.
Wrap looks amazing
Thanks, Sanjay :)
loving that guy with the brown sandals on the highway xD
Haha.
Sir what modifications have u done with the headlights of the bike
Just a black tint to cover them, Anmol. Visibility has gone down massively. Almost as if I don't have headlights now.
Sir but it looks really damn cool
That's why I did it ✌
Mapping of exhaust required plus wind blowing from wrong direction. Your weight etc determines speed
Good luck
Thank you, Prakash. Yes, ECU and air filter coming next. Cheers
REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT. pick your day for speed run carefully. Mind the weather. Sunday might be best
Yes, Prakash. Speaking to a few dealers in Thailand and Indonesia as I type this. Loads incoming for this bike.
Wow. Careful buddy... You've caught the tuning bug 😆
Hahahhahah. And I'm upgrading the suspension too :)
Then install big bike valve spring. Add shim retainer valve. Set more high limiter by aftermarket ecu and remapping.
All being done. Do check out my latest video.
And did your performance increases or not
U can do a compare top speed video or drag race between ur bike and ur friends stock bike
Top speed we compared. His did 146 and mine did 151. But with all the riding gear I was wearing, I outweighed him by 20 kg. That is a lot of weight. My bike was faster. I shot a small drag run with him. I'll release a video on it soon. Cheers
Have u done any coating or something on ur bike to prevent colour fading n scratches?
Nope. Nothing.
Awesome bro 😘😘😘
✌
With free flow exhaust at high RPM the A/F mixture gonna enter very fast and excapes through exhaust rapidly with incomplete combustion thus making no power than that, need some back pressure to make it completly burn.adding more fuel and Adv ignition timing at high RPM range might work for free flow exhaust.mapping is gonna make you reach more than 160km/hr easily for sure..waiting to see with that upgrade....✌
Yes, Prathish. Hopefully, soon.
Back pressure is myth, in his case it's the AFR. Once it's done properly it will be fine. Still it will not do real 150 or 160 kmph. Maybe 145 kmph. But it will be much quicker.
