Jonas Butler I just saw Elton John in concert on March 4th...the man is, without a doubt, the best concert that I have ever had the privilege of seeing live. He rocked the venue for nearly 3 hours. Worth every penny that it cost for sure.

The first time I heard this song was on a CD that my parents had. I used to play the album for an hour or so on the CD player before going to bed and now here I am almost 20 years later listening to it on a mobile phone through the miracle of the internet .

eltons voice in the mid 90s were my favorite "post surgery" vocals. by the mid 90s he had thankfully lost that nasal sound to his voice he developed in the 80s and started to sound like a deeper version of his 70s voice. he still had a good range and sounded great. wish it stayed like this and didn't get deeper over the 2000s lol

I've seen him in concert 3 times. Elton is a national treasure. My mom introduced me to Eltons music decades ago. My aunt was named Norma Jean and Candle in the Wind almost sounds like it was written for her as she passed away over 40 years ago.

There's a two song CD with this song and Candle In The Wind and it says on it "In Loving Memory of Diana, Princess of Wales". I have the CD.
