The way AK used the fireball spam to stuff EM's setups was pretty smart. Also, EM kept getting hit by FAs near the end which lead to his loss. Good job to both though. They both had crazy runs for this LCQ.

Kazuya for example can be described as a fair character, but hElLsChWeePS, df2 ch and vortex can be more annoying than Yoshi's stuff. Eyemusician played well, he uses Yoshi's movelist in the way it should be and thanks to him that Yoshi is seen in tournaments. He lost mostly because of AK knows the match up better and less because of last area conditions and character's differences.

Akumas Focus Attack really punished EM. EM really wanted go for the range, but Focus Attack makes Akuma sway back a bit. Not to mention the Super Armor from it.

yeah.. ak's trolling was risky rather than dirty. if EM was able to parry or block it, he can auto launch akuma and deal more damage. for a low kick that can give atmost 10% damage, if it was blocked and u got launched, you'll take atmost 40%. I would definitely say it was a risky move.

Also he mains more characters than this Korean dude. He's more versatile since he learned from his losses. EM just still uses Yoshi because that's the only character he can play because of his unpredictability and the fact that few players use him. @@belfastbelchan4039 Spamming fireball in this matchup is actually a legit strat. It means that yoshi can't do backturned healing if he doesn't wanna get hit by one. This forces yoshi to actually get in there and fight.
I'm kinda disappointed that from what I see in these tournaments, Akuma is so used, I lost interest the moment I see Akumas around, other heroes lost their viewing time because of this. Better name it Street Tekken 7.
@@maybe_just_emrys akuma might be used a lot in tournaments, but it's been a long time since an akuma player actually got into top 8 in any major tournament. It's always been Steve, Kazuya, Paul, Kazumi, and Dragunov. Like, Akuma might feel cheap cuz most meter-based characters are, but at least they weren't as bad as Fahkumram or even Leroy on release. Those guys were so OP they had entire patches dedicated to nerfing them (3.33 for Fahk and 3.20/3.21 for Leroy).
