Its not easy to play as a deaf character , you have to control your hearing sense and the urge to speak when frustrated and to learn sign language everything is really difficult - and here Gemini protraying the character of Heart is just marvelous ❤ the kid was just 17-18 year old when this drama was shooting and this being his first ever role makes me feel so proud stanning him 🥺❤️ - I wish more people recognize him for his acting skills which he deserves ❤
And i don’t need to mention fourth. He is soo adorable in real life seeing him playing a role like this shows how great his acting skills are ❤

Story of GeminiFourth with a touch of a unique concept with Differently abled people (- who use sign language) is refreshing 🙌🏻✨
Disabled is not a bad word. Please don't use differently abled, it's very infantilizing for disabled people

Instead, they taught them to use differently abled, children with special needs and physically/ mentally challenged because it is found that many children with such were bullied. But i think it's ok to use disabled when it's adult because they know what they're.

If a person gets bullied for having dark skin, should you not use the word "black" anymore? If someone gets bullied for being small or having glasses, should we pretend that they're not like this? No, we should explain to the bullies that differences are good and we should raise people to be able to live with people different than them.
Also why adults and not children? Children deserves to know they're disabled, which is very helpful both in terms of self-construction and to find a community. This is genuinely so insulting to use the word "differently abled..."

I am very excited to see Heart and how Gemini continue playing him. [This might sound offensive, but I don't mean it that way] As someone who has experience with Deaf people (at least in America) I can attest that they do make these small noises, and so I'm glad they kept them in!
yes they make a lot of noises and are very loud with everything they do because they can not hear it! my mother and father are both deaf and are very loud, when I first hear heart make those noises i was so surprised that they knew about that little detail. it made a huge difference. and don't worry its not really that offensive :)

Those shots of Mix on the Bridge under the moonlight is Chef Kiss! The angles made everything so cinematic. Like, this is just Episode 1 and it's already this great. I'm so happy how every look and stare is portrayed perfectly.

I didn’t want to laugh, because Heart is deaf, but this scene was so funny 2:38, especially because of Heart with his mad sign language 2:46 2:53 and Li Ming’s confused expression 2:48, it was a frustrating first meeting for both 3:00 and Heart was feeling more annoyed 3:07. Gemini and Fourth nailed it, I’m proud 👏
Jim can’t forget about his night with Wen 0:26 and Wen can’t forget about him as well and just looking at the moon is something that will remind him of Jim 9:28, he’s also drinking the beer Jim likes 9:44, he really wants to be with him again. He’s gonna complicate his life and Jim’s in the process, but he is fighting against something he really wants for himself, and you can tell he’s about to take that risk.

I'm so immersed in the storyline and the performances, fully mesmerized by the beauty of the scenarios, the aesthetic and the visual of the actors. I've been waiting so bad for these series and I'm here enjoying them real good. I'm already in love with it.
I have a deaf cousin and his wife who's also deaf and I must say that Gemini really did a great job portraying a deaf person. He's acting is really good considering his age when he filmed this (and the fact that he failed in drama class 5555 joke joke) and also, this being his first (major) character that he played :< I am so proud of my Gemgem~~

Earth's face when Uncle Jim is daydreaming about his night with Wen and can't snap out of the dream! Earth makes the most out of facial gestures, work with his eyes, and body movements when playing a bottled up character like Uncle Jim. His acting is really the best we have ever seen in Moonlight Chicken, no matter how much I love Huana Phupha from Tale of 1000 Stars.

The production of this series is insane! The entire team put so much effort in it you can feel it in every scene. I particularly liked the conversation in the changing room because it was just so effortlessly real, like how friends would talk about a one-night-stand. Also I'm very looking forward to Gemini and Fourth's story - it looks super unique!
Fourth's acting! This kid is massively talented, Li is so different from Gun props to him for being able to change the both characters as I think he was filming this along with MSP(not 100% but I think so). I think Fourth is gonna go far, he certainty has the talent for it.

The two leads in this series are somehow really well suited. They look right together: Earth as Uncle Jim is hard working and a bit sad, Mix as Wen is younger but more confident. I like that they are into their twenties and not naive youngsters, and they both need love. A one night stand becomes more. I'm loving the setting in an old part of town with the Thai/Chinese ambience. And the music is so good. The team have really worked to make this series high quality.

Saleng is so great in every scene he is in. He is the surprise of this series. Now that I'm watching the series for a second time, I can really appreciate what this character adds to the story, and how well Mark played the role. Saleng observes everything, and he intuits and speaks to the real situation that is going on. He can read everyone around him. I love when Uncle Jim is daydreaming about his night with Wen, and Saleng says, " You're dreamy like a teen waiting for a text back from his lover." He knows that LiMing fought with Heart and presses him to be sure. Mark's voice and energetic personality is just right for Saleng's character. He is kind of like the Greek chorus in a play. Comments on everything, teases, ships, says the truth. Gadfly.

I love jow every scene feels so natural. The lighting and the script with these actors and this dorection really make this the best series. I always recommend and now im rewatching again 💞💞💞💞
Mix such great acting you feel his every emotion just by looking at his face ,his body language, and listening to his tone. You can see he is totally taken by Jim already.
I love the scene after Wen talked with Gong, but he doesn't want to go home from the gym yet. He's by the waterfront with the Pattaya sign behind him and looks up at the full moon. The light on Wen's face is very beautiful. The longing he has when he sees the couple walk by. Then the cut to Uncle Jim's face as he also looks up at the moon. I like how P'Aof takes his time in these kind of scenes with no dialogue to let the story be revealed through non-verbal gestures and the ambience of the setting. Really beautiful. Mix's face in this scene, and his acting... so lovely he is.
