    Thank you for this excellent post; to be clear, when I add an image to my Word document and chose to link it to a video it will work. That is to say, I don’t have to embed the video.
    But if I choose to embed a video to a word docx, it will not have a cover image, but it will play without giving the warnings that may scare the recipient. 🙂

      Thanks for sharing! When you embed the video without the cover image, there will be no warnings to scare the receiver. It will automatically play in their default media player (Windows Media Player). If any other info, let me know to assist. Thanks boss
