@@SomsubhraMukharjee There was no darbar mentioned in rgveda and no ancient treatise is available which mentions it. This variation of kanara was truly created by Mian Tansen avatar of Mr R Pandey as per Abul Fazl.
Other than obvious technical virtuosity, there is the deep sonorous sound of the notes in the lower register, an essential part of the structure of the rag- I do not find the words to express my admiration of this performance.Wonderful!
vijayh123456 pandit jasraj is my favourite too.. and he has supreme command over darbari as well.. he is well known for his control over darbari and its rendition.. try listening to his "airi birari" in vilambit and "ajab teri duniya maalik" and " bawari banayake gaye" in drut.. theres the blend of perfection and beauty..
can anyone provide the full bandish, please??? I've been listening raag darbari of ustad rashid khan for years, but couldn't figure out the whole bandish . :) :) :)
