I agree totally, the sweetness will come, as he becomes more secure with economising breath and support, as Vlad Tepes pointed out, his voice is uniquely straight, without any uncontrolled vibrato, one can only hope he takes his time, before taking on more demanding parts, arias, i like to hear him sing Toni in Donizetti's , La files de regiment, in time, in time........Arturo together with Roberto Alanga, are my current favourite Tenors.

Not since Jussie Bjoerling, have I heard such a naturally gifted voice, fresh, and unfettered, produced with ease, yet authority. I am quite simply "blown away", I feel he is perfect for bel canto, imagine Arturo in I Puritane, no doubt he could handle the high E, without squealing, Only Bjoerling singing Rossini's Stabat Mater, cujis amini, sings a high E, effortlessly, listen to it. Braaaavoooo!!!
¡You are wrong! Correlii´s rendition is far better than any one. Chacón´s voice is too small for this role and his breath is too short if we compare it with Corelli and Pavarotti expansive voices. On the other hand, Cujus animam was recorded by many other tenors. For example, Kurt Baum, who has a great high E in this aria, a more powerful voice than Björling´s. In short, you must hear a lot of tenors. Greetings,

My thoughts exactly. And maybe a tad more breath.. but I’ll take good singing any day over big voice singing badly.
