Surprised in a good way, refreshing style, everything improved from Heat. Now just prey for 1+ year support for single / multiplayer like events with cars etc. Overall big shock, everyone expected Heat 2 but nah, this one have something more :) And its not ASAP Rocky 😂

Overall, I'm unsure. There's things that are great, things that aren't and things I'd like improved. For one, as a freeroamer I don't like that you can't change your car without ending a session, which also impacts the events you play that same session. The drifting and handling is still not great (even with tuning) but the overall game is a big improvement on Heat, which IMO was terrible. The world is also great and pretty.
C'mon it's shit when compared to Forza.. Who likes all these cartoony anime shitz

Agreed the racers sure have some skill and the cops sometimes I feel they can read your mind on where and when you going to make a surprise dart down a alleyway

cop corvettes are stock and are somehow able to accelerate to 200 mph in under 5 seconds

This reminds me of the McLaren F1 in NFS Heat. Fully upgraded it and it could only do 220mph even though the world record run that it did back in the 90's it managed 242 mph which BTW is still the world's fastest production car record with a naturally aspirated engine.

Even with balancing as a concern it's still really lame and makes some races stale. Should've just let all cars reach *at the very least* 246 mph to close the gap honestly.
Fully upgraded the F1 McLaren does at least 234mph on Heat. 🛑 da 🧢.
@@strayednine8859 To be fair, the rubber banding is so insane that it probably won't even make a difference if it was realisitic in that sense. This game has some serious fully modded Bugatti Veyron going top speed being overtaken by a Nissan Silvia in NFS Undercover type of rubber banding.
Blame the engine, which wasn't made for making racing games on it, Frostbite was made for quick paced action games like Battlefield not Need for speed, but it's what it's use whatever you got at your disposal to cut development costs.

I'm not gonna lie it feels weird to have a Bugatti Chiron Sport not being able to reach/past 249mph/400kmh but aside from that. Cool to see a Bugatti on a NFS game

@@KentWav FH5 is definitely not a simulator that's for sure. also you can technically go 400+ MPH in FH5 but that's using ramps and event boosted torque, the actual max speed without hotwheels is somewhere around the 310 MPH range
@@KentWav you didn't say it had to be more arcady than NFS, it just has to be arcady, any game where you can offroad a 130 million dollar sls 300 in the water is an arcade game, besides carx street has cars doing 480 kmph so I'd save the embarrassment if you think carx street is a die hard simulator too 🤦🤦

Why does Criterion/Ghost Games keep insisting on putting a 246 mph speed limiter when we clearly have cars in the game that can go beyond that?
Yup.. Makes no sense. Especially the fact this game is tailored to New Gen hardware. It should be able to cope.

Loving NFS:U right now. Looks gorgeous, racing is tight with epic/exhilarating feel. Handling is super stable lending to much better control at high speeds, compared to Heat.

on the drain part of the map if you start to wiggle to the sides you can get a speed boost and go higher than 247 mph

@@xlr80r_ ❤ Heat but only reason since of speed may have been better because the game was unraveling before your eyes at least on consoles due to all the clipping & pop in at 30fps on a fully maxed out car. I'll give you but unbound for most part runs silky smooth 60fps even with all the fx & the cops chasing ya.

Really? Seeing the gameplay just made me so glad I didn't spend any money on this game. It looks so silly, and the physics look way too far on the arcade side for me. I think FH5 has gotten the balance perfect - sim-style physics while allowing you to throw those into some very unrealistic scenarios. NFS just seems like a full-on cartoon in every aspect at this point.

There's no HDD players to worry about for rendering at 250+ MpH this time around...
Back in the Xbox 360 era, you could tune a Bugatti and make it blast at over 420 kph in Forza Motorsport 4 or the Koenigsegg Agera in which i used to hit nearly 440 kph fully upgraded, amazing game and more advanced than this "next gen" dogshit.

I'm honestly curious of you opinion on this game. Does it remind you of Underground at all?
I've really taken to this game.. It doesn't really remind me of Underground, saying that it doesn't really remind me of any previous NFS.
It feels original and brand new. All I can say is it's really refreshing to play something new and play an NFS that's actually really good.
This game looks extremely polished and seems like it might be fun

They Probably Have a Top Speed Cap at around 250MPH. Only because of online otherwise people would be flying down highways at 300+ MPH And it would make online very unbalanced for newcomers especially given they start with a loaned vehicle.

I have been pretty constantly playing NFS Unbound. I’ve almost completely ignored Forza Horizon as a result.
Hey, nice video and some great content, however, I am going to disappoint you because the Regera is actually faster (the top speed is the same) in any way. It's more controllable and accelerates faster, especially with a Supercharger. Also, is a little bit more than twice as cheap. Otherwise, the Chiron is a great car, I like it.
The customization is CRAZY. You wouödnt be able to widebody a bugatti chron to 2x its width in any other game. Well no one wiuld in real life but...
