After an incredible 3 months abroad in the US and Canada we are finally heading back home to Australia and Cooper the Van...but not before a crazy 72 hour flight from USA to Australia...with our little toddler.

Hi, we are Stephen, Jess and little Hunter, a travelling van life family who self-converted their dream house on wheels - we now live full-time in our Sprinter van called Cooper as we do a full lap of our home Australia.
Hey everyone!! Just wanted to say thanks so much for your support of our USA & Canada series!! but it feels so good to be back in Australia! We have half a lap left to do in Cooper - where should we go?
I know you’ve already passed it on your trip but Byron Bay is so beautiful
How about a drive to the Blue Mountains to explore the Three Sisters (peaks) then capping it off with galavanting around the nearby cool town of Katoomba? That way you three get to see some of NSW's most breathtaking nature AND taking in some of the best amenities that cool small town has to offer while still viewing the surrounding Blue Mountains! Truly, I believe one or both destinations would have great things to offer each member of your family!
Should definately go to Jindabyne and check out the snowy mountains in New South Wales! 😄

Please come to Tasmania!! But visit the smaller towns to support them. St Helens has amazing sand dunes, Stanley is so beautiful! We personally love to visit the penguin market in the small town Penguin on sundays

Great to see how Miss Hunter is an inquisitive, feisty yet unspoiled person! Time will tell but I think you two have given her a good taste of the world, been attentive even during stressful times and haven't been hesitant about calling her out when needed (but it doesn't appear that it's been needed that often). Welcome home and great that you've been reunited with both sides of the family! Oh, and that first mountain village airport and setting in Northern California sure seemed quite a world unto itself- especially giving you three not a small dusting of snow to send you on your journey across the very wide Pacific to your own hemisphere, continent/country!

Watching this as I prepare to head back today for two months to see family and friends back home in NZ/Aus for the first time since Dec 2018! I’m leaving today and can’t quite believe the day has actually come. I was meant to go in March 2020 but obvious reasons why I couldn’t go then. Super nervous about testing though!! I’m so glad you all had such a great trip and got back without any dramas.

Seeing Hunter on a long haul flight definitely brought back memories ! My son was 9 months old when we travelled from England to America to visit my parents and family. Interesting to say the least with a baby! It was fun though when he was Hunter’s age, we would play with him, read to him and just have fun! The only problems we encountered with my son, was when we would descend, his poor ears wouldn’t pop and he did suffer! Mind you, sometimes I do as well! We just brought things we know would occupy him and his snacks! The on board television helped as well! The older he got, brought loads of computer games to keep occupied.
aww woah what a trooper that is such a big flight for a 9 month old!! such a shame about the ear popping!! I thinK Hunter had her dummy, but now she doesnt so we just give her a drink!

Please take nonstop flight from Los Angeles to Sydney and then Cairns on Qantas, not on Fiji Airways. Just save the time. You can do that next time. You don’t have take Covid test anymore.

You should check out regional nsw - definitely the blue mountains, then try Bathurst, Sofala, Hill End, try the wine region at Mudgee, head to Dubbo and go to the Zoo, work your way back down to Victoria from there.
