    Congratulations Arlington County! Thank you for sharing this amazing body of work. I am so impressed by all that Arlington Arts does! Thank you for making this contribution to our built environment, making it more livable and ever more beautiful! You lift our spirits!

    As a longtime resident of Arlington County, I am sad to say that I have never seen anything uglier or less edifying than what passes for public "art" here. The Board has reduced this nationally prominent and historically significant location to a trendy theme-park, installing one costly, infantile, eyesore vanity project after another in a relentless effort to win awards from similarly taste-deprived entities that bestow a faddish cachet on their supplicants. Spare us the self-congratulations...

      The worst pieces of Arilington's public art focus on certain ethnic and minority groups that the County favors in its misguided efforts to create "equity". Those are now increasingly degrading the County. They are popping up all over the County, even in parts that have few residents that are members of those favored groups.
