Exact same thing for me too. I never ever thought that a RUclips ad could be so good. And I never knew that they advertised songs from newer bands because I've never heard of this one. They're very good.

I discovered Kalidia in a RUclips Mix of Delain, I think? I can’t stop listening to them and the videos are awesome. I get to these disturbing moods but somehow Kalidia has been soothing me lately. I don’t use drugs or coffee and rarely drink. I prefer to suffer, being used to it and such. I only drink when I’m in a good mood. This music is great for snapping me out of some unfairly negative thoughts and in general helping me cope with my good (but very hard) life. Maybe more than you wanted to know but I won’t apologize for it even one iota. 🤘

A band with a lot of potential I saw the ad in a video of Epica and just do not hesitate to see it, I'll be aware of Kalidia, possibly become one of my favorite bands

Greatings from Canada. Gotta love youtube recommendations. Using bigger name bands like Nightwish and Within Temptation as a base, I discovered so many great bands from the recommendations, bands we just don't hear of over here. Rage of Light, Metalite, Beast in Black and so many others...and now Kalidia. I purchased the Frozen Throne album yesterday. Nicoletta has such a great rock voice. Now I have to check more of Walk in Darkness out too. :D
This song is cool! Very well written! I've just bought a batch of foreign metal albums, including "The Frozen Throne". Based on the sound clips, I'm pretty sure I'll like it!
The song has a certain dangerous proximity to both German "Schlager" and Eurodance in the melody of the refrain, but overall it's still very much enjoyable. I kind of smell some influence from the prog metal band Arena here, but the oriental admixture is completely original and nice.
