I have the same bike built with a 120 pike 2* works headset and 29x2.6 tires and it’s awesome.
The 2* headset really woke it up and made it much more versatile across different types of trails

Hi great video, I'm glad I found this as it shows Surly bikes can be used with fork suspension. I wanted the Ogre but not sure if suspension works on that. So what I want is bike camping/ touring bike here in the UK. How do you think this setup that you have would work for me? Cheers matey :-)

how do you like the 140 climbing, any issues? Im waiting on a fox 140. Sweet bike!

It’s not too bad climbing. The lockout still has a bit of bob to it, but the payback is def there on the downhills. Fox has a good lockout and from what I recall, it feels a bit stiffer, so hopefully yours will be the same!
