Việt Nam is so nice place to go.
Even do it's not modern yet but the country is growing so fast. I was in Vietnam before and the feeling is just really nice. I don't know why but the country have some wonderful feeling and spirit in it. Like standing in a balcony have a beer and food with friends it's just best experience I ever had. For sure I'm coming back

Việt Nam is like half-modern, even in a very modern place in the Ho Chi Minh City or Ha Noi, you can still find something wild and natural. And our local food is our pride, other countries do have Vietnamese restaurants but nowhere have the taste nearly the same as in our country. I can say, things you see in youtube are just some parts of our cuisine, since our country is divided into 3 parts with 3 different culture, Southern, Northern and Middle of Viet Nam. Also, we have some small islands and a long beach coast surrounding us, which is usually the best place to have seafood.

Nelly Chou if u can, try to wake up at like 4 or 5am, rent a bike (i stayed in a hotel called Little Hoian so they lent those to us) and cycle along Thu Bon river to see the sunrise, then go around in ancient town when the shops arent open yet. Theres just a really unique feeling to it. Just take pictures, literally, anywhere, and it would still look insanely good with all that ancient structures and the lanterns hung above... Then go to Banh Mi Phuong for breakfast! Of course that was just my own experience which i personally found amazing, not a must-try or anything cuz by doing so ur gna have to come back to the ancient town once more to visit the tourist attractions when they r open haha ( i did go 3 times tho: night, sunrise, noon, couldnt get enough of that ancient vibe, and the beauty of the town varies each time so)
