Toyota Proace has cup holder below the ventilation placement on the mirror side of the driving wheel. So you missed that :) same applies for passenger side.
I had the citroen one and mechanically wasn't bad.gearbox at 70000 but I can guarantee anything you touch that is plastic will break.fit headlamp bulb and move washer bottle breaks.replace fuse box breaks.change rear interior bulb lens breaks.open bonnet flap to bonnet catch breaks.cheap for a reason
+Orbital Tube Unfortunately it all boils down to money. Its cheaper for Toyota to rebadge a Pug. To be honest this review is not very good as it gives the customer the impression it is a Toyota before it is a Peugeot... Auto Express its a Peugeot with a Toyota badge on the front. And the reviewer failed to point out PSA have had is on the market since 06'. How the hell this can be considered a Toyota beats me. Even if you take the interior, the steering wheel is the only thing that is Toyota, even that is probably 'Made in France'! Anyone who is buying one of these just go for the Peugeot / Citroen. They designed it, and their dealers would know a lot more about them than Toyota ones. Also any replacement parts would likely be sourced from PSA Peugeot Citroen, so literally your just paying for a Toyota badge.
+Christian Rönn having had bad experiences with french cars and vans with back axles failing, coolant leaks, fuel pumps failing, injector seal leaks, difficulty starting in extremely cold conditions and having had none of those major issues with Toyota id always be wary of french designed vehicles.
When it is claimed these vans (Kubistar etc.) are all exactly the same, this is not accurate. Peugeot use exta fancy (stupidly unreliable) electronics front ends & Mercedes use a different engine head and Nissan use a different brand of rear axle, because the French one from Renault has an early failure rate. Is there any research on how these vans actually vary?
I use a 2013 Proace 2,0 Automatic every day at work. The complete lack of cupholders annoys me all the time. How is it even possible to have 0! cupholders in a fairly modern car? My 2004 Acura sports cupé has 5 ,good ones. At 50k miles 2 fuel injectors gave up and the workshops bill was a meager 60.000sek (usd 6.730). I don't know if I was a victim of some bad luck, but I will most definitely stay away from European "Toyotas" in the future.

Or just glue a piece of tube in the side pocket. Simples.
toenocs22 Why on earth would you do that if the cupholders are included in the van? Nice way to make the resell value worse though.
@@Kinosaurus because the fold out ones are terrible for .5L cans

you says it's the same but do Proace have a D-4D engin and Peugeot a 2.0 HDI 128 ????
Was searching for the Peugeot Expert in this video
all vans should have that mirror for the blind spots 05:54
More van reviews!
Are those engine options all french designed and built?
+Orbital Tube Yep Peugeot through and through. Designed in France, Made in France. Peugeot-Citroen have had these on the go since 2006!
+Thomas Campbell Toyota need to watch they dont damage their reputation putting their name on other stuff that they haven't built.

WTF "essentially the same" means "it looks the same but I have not done any research"

+Rash Han Toyota rebadged the Peugeot / Citroen. Cheaper than designing a new Toyota Hiace.
