Can't remember which update it changed but you no longer need water to plant melons and pumpkins btw. Should save you some space when building those farms
It's always been the case... Crops don't need water to be planted or grown, but wet farmland makes all crops grow much faster. Nearby wet farmland also makes adjacent crops grow even faster. Even if planted in dry farmland, crops will still grow to the mature stage. "If there is no water nearby, farmland dries out and reverts to dirt, but only if there is no crop yet planted on it."

I would love that you play sky factory, its a modded sky block and its really fun. Since you like making contraptions and auto farms this takes it to another level with electronic and advance mechanisms.
Pro tip: if you use empty bottles and fill them up with water, fill a cauldron with the bottles, place down the water, then take another water bucket, you can creat an infinite water source with one bucket

The server is pretty good, I’m on bedrock. The only issue I have with it is that it’s pretty laggy and kicks me a lot. Not sure if it’s because I’m on the east coast of the US, but I’m sure more host regions will be added.

How do you join its saying invalid if for me
@@deathknight1296 make sure you’re using the correct ip for whatever version you’re on. Don’t use the Java ip if you’re on bedrock, or vice versa.

A tip for collecting cobble without getting it sold: fill your inventory with single blocks so that you only collect cobble and the rest gets sold.
