He did an excellent job. The voice, look, etc is uncanny, especially from the 1981 interview.
The actor did a perfect job
Nah. The real Kemper didn't have that stilted manner. There's an air of arrogance about the fictional Kemper, but the real one doesn't seem to have that affectation in his interviews.
The actor still did a great job, though. Maybe he intentionally added a little panache for the sake of drama.
Mothers have the most profound effect on the mind and emotions of their young sons. In truth a boy needs the love encouragement and good example of his mother as much or more so than any person in his life.
A young kid needs both of their parents and a loving family. Not just the mother!
So sad that Mindhunter isn't coming back😭

I think the casting just blew it. The actor is a chubby, yeah... affable guy, but not as articulate and youthful -looking as the original. The guy was so articulate and a clean-cut sort of guy that he was just uncanny. He could have gotten any chick in the sack if he had not been so messed up by his mom.
This is untrue. They resemble one another. The original Kemper was ugly. I say it as a girl. He wasn’t messed up because of his mom because a lot of kid grow up in abusive homes and don’t wind up being serial killers.
I think the skinny guy is the original. Truth be told, both men look very much alike facially, except that the actor is kinda chubby.
