First time I've seen Les Dunham. He's pretty cool. He landed an amazing deal with the James Bond producers for Live and Let Die (1973). The cars in that film were 70s classics, absolutely mint, and are as much the stars of the film as the actors. We're talking movie car royalty!
Elbows what they were called in the 80's..(ie swangers ), Vouge tires with 3 point knock offs......A Houston tradition.....BTW don't forget the curb indicators(curb feeler''s) & candy paint....
Ur talkin' about them Starwires, Pimps Nationwide, long before them Starwires by Cragars , had their own rims with knockoffs and sticking from the wheel wells , were built in custom shops specifically for their cars and for them.
I am very interested in doing business with you. My next car that im putting togethor will be a 1974 cadillac talisman and would like to have the "super fly" package done to it. Where is your shop located and are you still able to do this for me?
+AmericanClassics ofLondon My buddy owns a Cabalista it is the only Convertible one that he made. It is in Sourhern Massachussettes/Northern Rhode Island area.
I'm not 100% sure but I was told the car in the movie is in Jersey City NJ. I used to see it drive around every other day when i was young. I remember seeing 3 of them all the time in the 70's and none of the owners were pimps lol
I have a brand new flying lady goddess same exact one on the 1971 Cadillac Eldorado Super fly movie it was a Les Dunham Goddess I have it on EBay super heavy gorgeous flying lady
It's interesting how many of these owners mistook kitschy excess for luxury. I suspect most pimps try to look like sucessful middle class professionals these days, so wouldn't drive one of these. These cars are outright camp, just from their garishness alone. The Corvorado could have been a basis for an upmarket grand tourer. Slim the bumpers to a blade, lose a few bits of brightwork, lowered over some American Racing Torque-Thrusts and redlines, you've got a GT.
This guy needs to honestly Write a book !!!! Don’t let ur stories go silent forever!!!!!

Its just their style, man. You dont get to define luxury for everybody. Personally, I see originality....which is hard to come by.
~ Now everybody wants the Drug Dealer Mercedes>>>>>>>>>>>>
Unfortunately, Afro-Americans can't tell the difference between luxury and vulgarity and often mistake one for the other.
This is not the forum for what you are spewing
