    So, as usual, I put off my studies. AND I have an English test tomorrow I have to study and memorize phrasal verbs
    Here are my examples of using phrasal with "over " after watching the video
    I'm always in a rush so my parents tell me to settle down and " think everything over" before doing anything, I'm trying my best to not let negative thoughts " take over" my life but it's really hard because I "over think" about everything I can't wait till this bloody school year " is over"
    I'll get over all this stuff, God willing
    Thanks for the video 🎉❤

    Aly could u help me with this, what is the difference between "here & over here", "there & over there"?

    • @liliansampaio7802
      @liliansampaio7802 Год назад

      Hi!! I’ll try to help u. I understand “here” as a specific place. For example, you are at the mall with a friend and want to buy sneakers for you. Then your friend says “ok so we are at the mall now, so let’s buy your new sneakers over here”. And then you say, “ no, not over here, I want to buy exactly here”, and then you are pointing out to a specific brand store. I wanted to say that in the mall you can have many stores selling sneakers (“over here”), but you don’t want a sneaker from any store in the mall, you want to buy it from a specific store. This specific store is “here”(the right place/the exactly place), not from any store “over here” in the mall. The same you do with “there” and “over there”. Sorry… I am far, far away from Aly… I am not a teacher. I am just a student from Brazil also trying to improve my English. And I understand this difference this way. Maybe he can see it and correct me if I am saying bullshit!

    To be honest, I haven't understood the meaning "over" when it's alone.
    "Things are different OVER here" Does this mean that somewhere things look another?
    "You can't drink in public OVER here" I haven't any idea.
    "Can't do s*** OVER here" I haven't any idea.
    Can we use this sentences without "over"? Will this give another meaning?
